- Come and explore the Hole in the Rock Road, where in 1879, Mormon pioneers carved a route from Escalante, Utah, to Bluff Utah. This route covered over 200 miles of some of the most rugged and uncharted territory in the west. This journey included carving a slot down to the Colorado river. This place is called, Hole In The Rock!

Truly an incredulous journey for those pioneers. Still, seeing this as close up as you took us, it actually seems impossible that all those wagons & horses went through this deep and narrow crevasse!
It is amazing they went down it. Thanks for watching!
A fine video. And thanks for the history lesson.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video, thank you for pronouncing Escalante correctly. My grandpa was one of the first ones to come upon the crash of the Boy Scouts.
Thanks for watching. That crash must have been terrible!
Beautiful! Love the history and the info stories. Great job!
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you so much for the incredible story. I was 3 miles short of seeing it a few years ago but I couldn’t get through with my truck. I love how you present your videos with your beautiful wife or partner. Great photos too! Happy travels!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great videos . You should have more views.
I appreciate that!
It was nice to see more than the 'Hero ' shot from the top of the rocks. I enjoyed the history about it too. Thanks for sharing. cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome great video
Thanks!
Until now I didn’t know that this road has real hole in the rock. I know this road for spooky slot canyon, coyote guch etc.
Thanks for the history telling!
Glad you enjoyed the video.
How difficult is the hike to the water
It is steep and rocky, but if you are in good shape, it’s doable.
Wer the wagons only 3 ft wide?
probably 4 to 5 feet.
