Just a caution to people with acne-prone skin: Versed gel moisturizer contains wheat germ oil, which has the highest comedogenic rating of 5. I realized it after I bought the cream and started seeing white heads pop up on my cheeks daily.
Do you have a similar replacement that is not clogging?

@@bilalsathi6914 i have your skin type and i used the hydro boost water gel for a while and it did work for me, but with a few exceptions. it has dye and fragrance so it can be irritating if you have sensitive skin. for me, it also irritated my skin and burned when my skin was sensitive, so it kind of worked? it didn't break me out or clog my pores, but it's also irritating. i would try and avoid it if you have sensitive skin :)

@@444kizzez there are two different types! The dry to extra dry HydroBoost doesn’t have fragrance. I didn’t know this at first and got the fragrance one which is blue and the one without is white. The fragrance one burned my skin but the one without I’ve been using for around 2 years and it’s great! Not too heavy or greasy but gives moisture. I have sensitive,dry, and acne prone skin. Hope this helps! :)

A couple weeks ago my skin started to get really dry. And I mean DRY. My skin cracked and bled. It was horrible. Thanks to my dermathologist my condition is better now. My problem was that I did not know why my skin is acting like that, I had not used any new producs for like 1,5 years.
Then I started binge-watching your videos. I learned a lot, and now I think my (now old) sunscream was the problem. It was the Eucerin Sun Oil Control SPF30+ , witch contains Alcohol denat. as a second ingredient. So...
I had to find a new suncream, so I went my local pharmacy, and I've found a brand called Uriage. I live in Hungary, so I do not know it's available in the US or not. It's mineral, fragrance free, and does not leave a white layer on my face. It's maybe a little bit thic, but it's very gentle.

@@Hyram Another Hungarian checking in, is Uriage Eau Thermale not really a thing there? They're pretty expensive but they're a pharmacy brand and if you ask the pharmacist for a sample of a product, they should give you a tiny tube of it and you don't have to buy the whole bottle. Gotta ask though, because they probably won't offer it unless you bring it up.

Have you tried using a fat based cream before you go in the water? Than mild cleanser after, hyaluronic based gel and then a fat based cream on top to seal. I have good experience with cerave and udderly beautiful but then my hair and skin become soft from chlorine of I don't go too often. Good luck and don't go during corona phase! Here in Berlin are pools are closed now by emergency order.

I currently use the Simple Micellar Gel Wash which is fine for days when I'm bare faced (w/ a dewy or light sunscreen), but I find that it is not "tough" enough even in times when I'm wearing a heavy sunscreen (let alone a full face)
Try Pond's Cold Cream, good for both oily and dry skin. I have dry skin and i usually do a double cleanse afterwards, but if youre dry, just wipe the cold cream off. Takes of my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and waterproof liner. :)
I use the super facialist vit c cleansing oil, it's pretty cheap
Try Pond's Cold Cream you can find it in a drugstore

The Good Molecules cleansing balm is the best I have tired (farmacy, elemis, etc). It has one questionable fragrance ingredient, but it works better than anything I have tried and it doesn't burn my eyes at all. I think it's around $15!
Hyram you should try the “Underneath” skincare sunscreen, it doesn’t leave a white cast like the others.

I actually went and purchased E.L.F.
"Happy Hydration" and "Holy Hydration" because of this video ! Unfortunately, Happy Hydration was a bit irritating ( maybe an allergic reaction to the Hemp Seed oil ), but the Holy Hydration was much nicer ! Neither was a great moisturizer, but Holy Hydration has impressive ingredients and felt better.
Yay for E.L.F. I’m so happy for them! Keep products like this coming for people on a budget! 🥰. As far as sunscreen, I can’t even get it near my skin, guess I go out with hats. 🤷🏼♀️

I've also been using the holy hydration moisturizer the past few months and I've been loving it a ton

I was spending $30 on moisturizers that lasted me maybe a month or two. I was like I cannot do this forever, so I decided to stop using expensive fancy moisturizers and purchased a Cera Ve cream. I just bought the neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin that he mentioned and I LOVE IT. I got it yesterday and put it on right away and I have never had my face feel so happy. I usually scratch at my face all day trying to get the gunk off but yesterday THERE WAS NO GUNK. I forgot about my face and went about my day and at the end of the day it was barely oily. THANK YOU HYRAM!!!!!

I think finding a good moisturizer is the most difficult part of skin care. I have oily AND sensitive skin which sucks. My face is the perfect environment for pimples. BUT!! I actually found the iUNIK cream on a korean site which ships to my country so YAY! I really looking forward to try it! I have not liked the last three moisturizers I have bought so fingers crossed xD

I have oily skin that is VERY sensitive :( the struggle is real.
You can try Rosken Sensitive Cream. It's preety good if you don't have fungal acne.
if you have oily skin, try using an oil moisturizer on your face. it tricks the skin to think that it doesnt need to produce more oil, so it wont.

I used that last neutrogena product for "oil control", and all the time I used it I was really oily, had a lot of breakouts everywhere, like 2 breakouts per day. Now I used it to remove makeup residues.

it’s not drugstore but keils avocado eye cream has changed my entire life and is the only eye cream that has ever helped my dry under eyes

Thank you so much. I just started watching and tried one of your recommendations since it was so hard finding something that would last but not be oily. I have dry skin so since it was recommended I got the CeraVe moisturizer cream and it has my skin feeling like a baby. Normally I had to use oils with my face lotion for it to last and not have my face soak it all but within a couple of hours. No lie my face stays moisturizer all day long and your right a little does goes a long way. So happy I got it.

dont do it! I tried the elf one and it has Isopropyl Isostearate which is comedogenic. It began breaking me out and I NEVER get acne. I have dry skin. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF
I actually loved the ELF cream. It is my go-to and I have dry skin!
CeraVe is good for very dry skin. It works for me because I have eczema. So it could be too thick for you lol
Also weirdly enough when I apply the cerave it burns sometimes? My husband says it never does that to hi🤷♀️
I was surprised Hyram mentioned that elf moisturizer, I checked the list and wasn't impressed, had perfume and some ingredients that are also in mattifying powders? Wack, he never mentions it anywhere else either. When I had very dry flaky red skin from using benzoylperoxide and antibiotics for acne I used the advanced moisturizer from Cetaphil! Cheap and worked like a charm, not greasy.
I actually really like the Aveeno ultra calming SPF 30 moisturizer for dry sensitive skin. It does have a bit of a white cast but it fades pretty quickly (and I have medium-dark skin) so I feel like its a really good product if you are using enough of it.

Love this drugstore series! I’m all for expensive skincare but I go through moisturizer SO quick it’s nice to supplement something more affordable every now and then 🙌🏼🙌🏼
