It's a completely different beast, but the 3D follow focus system (which was sort of the test bed for this) for the RS2 has some very bad days sometimes in real world use, so will be interested to pair it with some manual lenses and see how well it does, but the kit autofocus lens looks gorgeous as is.
Most impressive is that I see the dedication of getting up for sunrise at Ashbridges 👀

I don’t think a lot of reviewers seems to fully understand how awesome this thing is, seems like you’re the first reviewer to be actually excited about the whole package, and the Z axis stabilizer, I guess it’s because you’ve spent some time flying the DJI fpv. It is so well built, the image quality is perfectly workable, the stabilization just works, there’s just soo much going right for this thing. Makes me really wanna intern for content creators and enjoy awesome inventions month after month
I would love to see that lidar information being used to create a 3D meshes! That'd be mind blowing
I hope they enable all sorts of cool stuff with it!

Matti, of all the presentations of this device, yours is the best. The introduction is fabulous, you get to the point and don't talk so much nonsense.
This Cinema Gimbal looks like a game-changer. Might not be for everyone but having the ability to get dolly shots with one hand and not have to worry about a separate camera and battery and balancing set up every time on the SC2 etc. is what I've been waiting for, just a simple turn on and shoot. I will be curious about the lens system for sure.

It's nice to see something refreshing in the cinema market and for £5,999 for the 6K model and £9,499 for the 8K model it might actually grab some peoples attention especially when looking towards small / medium sized productions.

DJI's real genius is the way they engage with the community. Every videographer influencer dropping their vids on the same day with pinpoint co-ordination. Some might see that as cynical marketing ('some' being all those TH-cam channels that are a picture of them with an face like a slapped arse and 'BEWARE BEFORE YOU BUY' titles that no-one wants to give review equipment to), but it smacks of real confidence in their products and judging by what you've been able to do with it so quickly, justified.
This is the killer midrange product that so many small crew/solo producers have been waiting years for. To be able get all these features in one neat package, no "will work if you blow on it and say the magic words" connections with third party equipment, no more cumbersome apps that your phone fights endlessly with for resources. Sure, it's a sizable chunk of change. But as said, the results speak for themselves. Imagine being a wedding videographer, pairing this with Inspire 2 and being able to offer a complete package that will look like a film.
It could pay for itself in a year. Plus a setup this compact and simple to get going will make an absolute fortune for the rental market. Exciting times.

I love how on paper and prior to release, this probably would have been laughed at...But DJI executed a dream and once put into the hands of creators it put its money where its mouth's at... It took what was seemingly a large array of issues between many different brands/models and said, "here, we will listen and give it to you all right now. We don't care if this phases out other models, we are creating one in the process." This is the standard. This is why DJI is one of the more elite companies out there. It listens to the creator (whom usually have crazy demands,) and says, "Okay, you want crazy?! We got you." Thanks for continuously innovating DJI.
