Im here looking to put a 400 small block with muncie 4 speed in my 98 ranger with 2.5 automatic already done the 8.8 rearend and beefed up the suspension
I see, I have a 2000 ranger and a 400 sum horse 350 out of my 383 swapped 91 camaro. I’ve been wanting to throw the 350 in my ranger but I don’t know how to go about it lmao.
Chevy S10 and 2000 Ford Explorer are both 8.8 ruins but the Chevy S10 should go right to a regular Chevy drive shop so you shouldn't have to do much there but shortened it a lot blinked to it and will you purchase on wherever you have tapped it if you wanna use the forward one I think it's a bit stronger but it depends on how are you gonna run it
Does the motor plate have any give to it or is it solid to frame. Nice truck it should haul ass. Im studying the same thing with my 1988. Ive got a built 406 sbc. Never thought about a motor plate. Nice
@@aux1z11 the 302 is the most reliable engine in existence bar a 2.3L Lima ford. There’s a reason the fords last longer. Most 350s have their issues. They’re great engines, the 302, a 5.0 H.O would eat a 350 alive and if it’s a 351w or a 351c hands down a ford and between ford and mopar it’s about equal.
damn socrates here been hittin the fish whistle pretty hard lmao

You guys should help me out with my small block ranger build
The exact build I wanna do lol
i have a 84 ranger would this be the same on it? dropping a 350 as well in it but stuck on the motor mounts
Same concept aplies
Instead of smashing it with a hammer why didn’t you just do 2-3in body lift would have all the clearance you need
How's it going to have water pump
How u get the ford speedo hook up
The dash has a mechanical Speedo cable that plugs into different transmissions
lol. 302 would eat that alive
We’d run a 302 if we had slits between our legs
@@rustbeltbuilds atleast I don’t have a dick up my ass
