I remember my mother making these over 25 years ago. They always adorned our Christmas sweets tray whenever we distributed sweets among neighbours or had guests over. Mum would always get complemented on them.

You have to cook it a little longer. Keep to the timing I mentioned in the recipe and it should turn out right.
