Hello Shiarini. I have and still enjoy cooking with your recipes. At 73 years old living in Arizona, I’m eventually enjoying my foods recalling the authentic flavors embedded in my memory. Words cannot express to you how grateful I am for your love of our BELIZEAN cuisine and not compromising too greatly the ingredients and methods. I cook and bake for my friends introducing them to our dishes and haven’t yet been told anything other than how delicious and balanced my food is. Thanks to you. I wanted to add a couple pictures of my bread and powderbuns and potatoes salad, but don’t know how as I don’t do facebook or any other media but emails and WhatsApp. I always do a “like” for the recipes I tried. Wonderful video and recipe. Love your easy manner and precision! You really find joy in your endeavor! I would use my scale to make sure each portion of dough and filling was exactly the same - obsessive! I have so much to do today; but I am going to run to the store to get what I need to make these tarts even if I am up into the wee hours. Thank you!

I don't have a convection oven. I just have the heat on the bottom.
A pain in the butt sure it is a lot of work. And when done it is delicious. Coconut Tart is my favourite. And rice pudding.
Could I do this with cherries? Or could I bake the dough and add a filling I made?
I've never experimented with this dough. This is the only way I have ever made it, so I can't say for sure.
Can we brush with butter or oil for the tart pan so that the tart easily come off?
That is what I saw my granparents, great parents too. Grease the tart tins and no problem getting the finished product out

You can use a regular-size muffin pan if you don't have tart pans.

I just found your channel. I never had your country's food. I will try some of your recipes. I don't buy salted butter. Is there a great difference using unsalted butter? Can you roll the pastry out and then put it in the cups? Does it change the pastry if you spray the cups? Thanks.

When using the butter the only difference is it doesn't taste salty so you can add a pinch to the recipe. I haven't tried rolling the pastry then putting it in the cups but I think it would work. No it doesn't change the pastry if you spray the cups.

Oh no, my reply is going to be too late now. I've never done it that way, but I think you would have to flour your counter before rolling it out so it doesn't stick to it.
