Morning George, they look fabulous, my sons partner is expecting their first baby so you know what will be my next home made soap, I’ll order some camomile to add to my calendula. Was thinking of carrot purée but this sounds just as good if not better. I’ll let you know once I make it And another soaper I didn’t mention via phone conversation, this time from Isle of Man, I just love the internationalists of soap and gardening channels, her name is Tanya Anderson “Lovely Greens” I started following her garden you tube Chanel, she did a soap and now produces a newsletter so I get that too, just produced a few e books, really cheap to buy and I think very well thought out and and easy reading with great information for people like me. Ones on natural soap making the other a guide on calendula growing and use. With recipes all small batches but I can use soap calc to make larger size loaf. I love her like you prefers to make natural soaps. Bye for now George and thank you
Greetings Avril, that sounds wonderful congrats on the soon to be grandchild! It would be a lovely pressie! Oh great, when I get some time will check out their channels / videos. Lots of videos to catch up on hehe. Thanks for commenting 😊🙏
Greetings Marion, thank you 🙏😊 if making for yourself you can make it more potent. For babies I like to keep it on the milder side. But definitely beautiful either way 😊🙏
Hi George. I found your channel through Elly's channel. Thank you for always sharing your recipe & soap making knowledge. And, thank you for the interviews with other soap makers. I actually went to a soap making class, but your videos & Elly's videos gave me so much more information than the class I went to. 🙏😊
Greetings Saju. That's great, they are beautiful on the skin. If you're using for yourself (adult) you can use as much as you'd like depends how potent you'd like it to be 🙏😊
Hi George, using a small nut milk bag will enable infusion without the mess involved with straining the botanicals. I use filter bags to do all my infusions.
Hi George, I looked at New Directions and didn't see the Ivory Australian Clay. Would Kaolin clay be a good substitute? or would you recommend a different clay ? Thank you for sharing your video and recipe.
Greetings Kelcan. I just had a look they are definitely there just search it if you can't find it. You can use white clay or pink clay also.. Ivory is the best though 🙏
Thanks George ,wish I could send u the images of the soaps .They came out so beautiful.I did make some changes - didn't add any EO,Clay etc. Added normal sugar instead of brown.

Hi George. . How much superfat and lye concentrations use for baby soap bar ? Tq in advance
Hi Sofina, I use 5% superfat, and I use 22% water to oil ratio, so a pretty steep water discount 🙏
Can I use French pink clay? For the baby soap.
Yes you may. Pink, Ivory and white clays are good to use for babies skin 👍
Thanks
Hi George btw
Did u force gel this one ?
Hello again. No I don't gel any of my recipe's 🙏
Does this one need curing for 4-6wks?
6 weeks is recommended 🙏
