I LOVE HOLLY. I wish you had a recipe book. I'm such a fan and you're such a great teacher that I'd pay whatever. Only a few soapers I say this to.❤️ You're one of the 3.
Thank you! I appreciate it. I do share a recipe in the description box. I have shared my salt soap recipe, bath bomb recipe, and sugar scrub recipe too in various videos.😄 The recipe for my regular line of soaps is attached to the business itself and I do not have the rights to share it.
@@rawbathandbeauty It is my recipe. I formulated it many, many years ago. But I am in a partnership and it was agreed that the recipe would stay with the business itself.
you all prolly dont care but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
This marble look is beautiful. I'm always amazed at the way you handle that big pot. You have a great talent, I really appreciate you sharing. Thank you!
Yay, starting the week with another Holly video :-) grew up eating anise biscotti (Italian nonna) so am looking forward to this soap. Take your time, we will be here waiting. Sending you good energy!
Thank you Tink! I love anise biscotti too. As a teenager, we lived next to an Italian grandma-age woman. I would go over and she'd have all sorts of Italian treats. So good!
Beautiful ! the second loaf you cut looked like it had a design of a face ! someone with that kind of granite countertop would love this also ! thanks for sharing
I saw a face, too. Looks like a cat. I'm glad you said it. I thought I was delirious. Great marble technique, though. I've seen other marble soaps that were a lot more complicated to produce but not necessarily better. I wish I could keep my batter this fluid.
So beautiful! 💜 LOOOVE black licorice, hubby hates it and so does our son. So when he was growing up, I knew if I wanted to keep some candy in the house for me that they wouldn't gobble up, I'd get a couple bags of Good n Plenty, ha! 😄
Thank you for adding the clip at the end of you arranging the bars on the tray! It’s so satisfying to watch someone else be as equally particular about lining things up as I am. I love anise and black licorice as well. These bars are so beautiful and luxurious looking. ☺️😍🤩
Holly I am just amazed at how well you pour out soap into the small jugs. I make a mess more often than not. lol You are also one of my favorite soap artists to watch.🥰
Hi Holly! Beautiful soap! I love Anise too. Black licorice and original chex mix are some of my favorite snacks! I've never made an Anise soap and should, but I'd probably keep them all because of the smell!!!! Great to watch you again. Jill Gross
Star Anise is excellent in tea for chest congestion but i adore the smell of black licorice its really good blended with a tiche of vanilla it smells like a creamy candy! Gorgeous Marbled Soap!!!😍
Howdy from Oklahoma Holly! A couple days ago I made your Marble Soap w Anise E.O.! I've only been in the soap making world since May of this year, and I've had anise for a couple months now, but didn't really know what to do with it🤔 Then when you said it smelled like black licorice, so I had to go check it out for myself. And I was like "yeah, that actually does smell like black licorice!"🤯And I love marble, so I thought this was perfect to try out! I agree with you that this soap looks very classy!🎩🧐👌 Thank you for all your videos. I pretty much watch them ery day! I just love your laugh!🤭I've also tried your pumpkin and maple syrup soap idea (I purchased Simi's book after you brought it up in your video. It's awesome!👍)I've added banana to an unscented soap, others I've added milk and or honey to my oils. I've learned so much from your videos, and wanted to say THANK YOU, thank you, ThAnK YoU!!🙏Many blessings to you and your family!!💛
Wonderful yes high end looking soap~!! If you were to guess proportions what percentage of the batch was black? Like 20% to 80 % of something like that? Thank you so much Holly for all you do!
Hi Holly, I absolutely in love with this marble soap of yours. I like anise in a special tea I make for a tropical rice pudding but never smell it in a soap. I loved it the 1st time you made this soap and i'm still in love it now💖🖤🖤
Beautiful!, thank you for the wonderful soap making process, watching your video over & over just to enjoy the process😊 . i want to add aloe Vera gel & goat milk to it , can i add directly to the oils , will it be ok and not spoiling the soap.
Your black licorice soap is the bomb Holly!! I still have a piece of a bar from when I ordered it last. I saved it and put it in a plastic bag so I could use it on my really stressed out days. LoL
That's great! Thank you for loving it Nancy! I am not sure who this person is responding to you here but he's been all over my comments in the last 24 hours.
As others have mentioned in earlier comments, I also see a face on the side of the loaf at about 13 mins - it calls to mind one of those vintage ads for Pears soap, from the late 1800s! Plus, on the next loaf (about 15 mins), a beautiful Venetian mask appears! This is such an elegant soap. I wish I loved anise, but am in the "other" group.... ;)
I loveeee that design!, but in a different scent. It would be great for “softly” scented soaps. I’m also just dying to go behind you as you go along and clean up all the little “messes”. Loved the video!
Holly can you imagine me making a 4 lbs batch of anise? Was like nothing on the container, but the smell is so strong, omg. Your soap is marvelous, mine is plain with real star anise and orange peels powder on top for decoration
@@moriversoap a four pounds batch only, I guess to use 4 lbs of anise EO we will need to make over a thousand pound batch, no Holly, I am still small business, but thank you for the vision, hahah
Holly, for those that the scraping sounds gets to them, they can just mute it. You do a wonderful job making soap and don't need that to worry you. BTW the soap is magical!!!!! I'm really missing your vlogs!!!!!
Hi, I'm just getting into soap making, so I have been watching hours and hours of videos and recently stumbled on yours and love some of your designs, so thank you for sharing. I'm curious about how white it gets when the batter is clearly yellow. Is there a trick to get it so white?
Those patterns in that anise soap OMGosh gorgeous I have one from a previous batch she made that I just started using sweetness , kinda hard to not want licorice candy after using it
Glad you made it through the cold! Not a fan of black licorice, but my mom loves it... eeewww! Lol! Take your time sweetie... we will just keep getting dirty anyway! Lol

Love this soap! What do you mix with the activated charcoal and how much?
Thanks! I don't have my notes near me so I can't see for sure. But I usually mixed the charcoal with olive oil.
Such a pretty soap!
Thank you!
Anyone else see the face at 13:27??!! Two eyes and a nose, way cool!
That was neat for sure!

Oh yeah
I love how super excited you are! Not a fan of the scent but I think you should definitely do this design again.
Haha thank you Brianna!
Those are so pretty! I'll have to give this a try. My grandson wants me to formulate a design just for him. :)
That sounds fun Verna!
Very nice, love the swirls Holly !
Thank you!
What did you cut it with when you in molded it to get all the loafs so even?
I use a slab soap cutter. The video I am putting up tomorrow (JUICY Soap on Monday, March 1) will show the cutting of the loaves.
That is beautiful. There is a face on the side facing the camera of that first full loaf you cut!!

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I mixed the charcoal with batch oils.
