Lately I'm hesitant to trust products from Asus. Not because necessarily their product, but if something goes wrong, they could basically care less about you.
yea, im not buying another product from asus ever again. I bought a plug and play pcie wifi card which wouldnt work. they wanted to charge me around 200usd just to troubleshoot.
So it has a three year warranty, where you'll only have to pay $1,500 to get a minor scratch fixed in order to get your warranty covered -- or get your monitor shipped back in pieces.
I've bought one and really have enjoyed it. The gaming experience in competitive shooters is excellent. For "Glossy OLED" it's nice, but definitely nowhere near as significant of a visual difference as some people may lead you to believe.
Just got this after trying the 540Hz PG248QP. This monitor display is so beautiful and the stand so minimal and easy to move around. I mostly play OW and Tekken. It’s such a much nicer experience despite the lower refresh rate
In the UK this model is £100 more than the cooler master 240hz oled for anyone looking for an alternative. (Especially if you’re not a fan of the ROG logo). I quite like the camera mount option on the back with this though.
There is no way this panel is going to be less than $1500 here in Australia. There is some shady pricing things going on with these OLED's here down under and so far, its Alienware leading with the low prices.
1:41 you know it won't be around $1,000 😭😭 the PG32UCDM in USD is $1,299 and if you convert that in AUD it's $1,951, but Asus priced it $2,749. A difference of $798 😭
I just ordered this monitor, and I’m concerned about its HDMI 2.0 compatibility. Can my PS5 Pro run at 1440p and 120fps using HDMI 2.0 on this monitor?
I really wish they offered a version of their top 32 inch OLED that looked like LG's OLED monitor, I enjoy a decent amount of gaming but I hate the gaming look, I'm not a 12 year old.
can't wait for sub $500 OLED's in the future. maybe someone can make just a 165hz-180hz 27" 1440p Woled for let's say 449 or $400. it'd probably sell like hotcakes.
Pretty sure the reason this panel is so inexpensive is becasue is last years tech with a new glossy screen. This is the same panel as last years lg 27gs95qe. On top of that the 1440p 360hz qd oled from msi (forget the exact name) are only $750….
@@danebeee1 according to Vincent teoh this is an MLA panel similar to what is used in the LG G4. Basically the most current WOLED panel tech. Not cheap or last gen.
Both new consoles are capable of 4K up to 120 frames per second. Some new TVs can handle this higher frame rate. Almost no older TVs can, even those called "120Hz." The TV will need HDMI 2.1 to let the console run in all this high frame-rate glory. Your current HDMI cables probably won't be able to handle 4K120.
I'll wait another year for Asus to work out all the kinks. I brought their 4k 160hz gaming monitor in early 2021 and it blinks on and off all the time. I should have read the reviews before purchasing...
@@Tuskabanana Yeah i tried everything, still had flickering, even just browsing darkish websites on chrome it would also flicker. Zero flicker if i disabled g-sync.
$700- $900 isnt cheap for a 27" monitor when you can have a 4k 48"tv for $200 and less on sale. If you have to have one find a used one for sale. aint no way i'm paying $7-9 Hundred for a tini monitor aint no way. Go through micro center and get their 2 year warranty…..they will replace it no questions asked.
If possible buy from best buy or micro
buying from one of those places with extended warranties sounds likea good idea.

The AOC 27" 1440p 240Hz OLED monitor is on Newegg for $599, which is the regular price not a discount.
@@freak777power I agree but still cheaper than the Asus.
@@freak777power How so?
The AOC WOLED is amazing 🔥🔥doesn't have the colour brightness of QDOLED but absolutely would get it over any LCD
Its also the worst OLED monitor.
No monitor at this price should be without HDMI 2.1 ports.

I've had the monitor for a few weeks now and I'm loving it!

Is the black in the dark areas so black that it's a problem because in matte OLED displays that was their downside?

An OLED monitor for only a weeks wages is amazing! I'm glad to see prices coming down on the tech. 👍
3 days worth of wages for me...

I just got this monitor. It’s stunning!! Amazing monitor!
man i love oled but im scared of the burn in
I recently bought the the Dell AW3225QF for $1500 Aussie and I love it!!!
Yeah Alienware are killing it with their pricing this time around, their AW2725DF is around 100 euro cheaper than other alternatives.
Looking good Nick! Keep it up! 💪

Cooler Master one has zero credible reviews anywhere for some reason
That price is great! For someone with a smaller budget who wants to get an OLED monitor, it's a no-brainer deal!
it looks cool and no one else does it. nuff said
I could live with no USB-C, but HDMI 2.0 immediately rules this out for me. Thanks for mentioning Aussie prices though!

VERY cool channel music. subbed.

Why is 32 inch version selling for double of price of 27 inch one??

Because it is more than double the resolution.

Looks & sounds great, shame about the manufacturer, for that reason I'll be giving it a miss!

Get the Samsung G60SD instead. 360hz QD-Oled. About the same price.
Small note. You need HDMI 2.1 if you want this for Xbox or PS5. HDMI 2.0 will lock you to 60hz on consoles.
@LonestarROB I think at 1440p you may be able to get 120hz. Just can't do it on 4k output.

Expect the power pack or brick to fail in 2 years just as the warranty runs as they usually do. 😁😁
