For PCOD, please consult your Doctor regarding a diet plan because only a Doctor or a Certified Dietitian will be able to assess you and provide the right treatment according to your health and history. But do start eating right and working out, because weight loss helps a lot with PCOD. Stay healthy! :)

    Super Cool and Practical...I however have already been doing most of the tips given here...even exercise 20min a day - 5 Days a week...still am stuck at 68 kgs...which is a little above my BMI...height is around 5feet 7 inches..and also have fat around the abdomen and thighs..which i am unable to reduce...

      You have to do strength training if you want to loose more weight. Try a gym. Or do a morning jog.

      She said start exercise with 15 min walk but if it’s not working for you, you should try to increase your exercises. Try 30 min to 1 hr exercise if possible. Everyone’s body is different, you need to make few modifications and it will work eventually. Especially for certain body areas, it’s a good idea to do exercise for those areas. Good luck ☺️

    Thank you for encouraging desi eaters on practical weight lose without being compelled to adopt bland diets! Would you know of any good cardio a person on bed rest can do? Any exercises ladies with weak, irritable, painful tilted uterus can do? Normal cardio such as running, jumping, etc., unfortunately makes our illness worse so what options do we have?

      Hey Fatema. I'm glad you found the diet plan useful. :)
      If you are on bed rest, I would suggest you focus on restoring your health first. Get some good rest as well as eat good food for your body to get enough nutrients that'll help you in recovering.
      If running, jumping etc aren't your jam and you have specific uterus conditions then please consult your doctor, because he/she would give you a customized activity plan depending on your history and how your body reacts. After you resolve that, perhaps you can check out the beginner workout video!

    I don't know bout you but I lost 8.7 kgs in 10 days of that 10 kgs in 10 days diet. It's been almost 10 months and didn't gain any weight back :)

      @jovennila edits cuz eggs aid in weight loss. They help you lose more fat than any others foods. Doctors tend to tell you that the egg yolk is dangerous and has so much cholesterol and to not eat it. Think about it, if doctors speak every word truthfully, would they earn money? It's the myth the world still believes. I lost alot of body fat in thighs, arms and my face has shrunken alot. Only when you get back to eat junk food is when you will gain the weight back :) hope this helped you somewhat :)

      Hey Naima! Hello from Hyderabad! :) Well, I would suggest that you stay away from weighing scales, because they are not a true health indicator. If you work out, then you might be gaining muscle and loosing fat, but the scale won't budge. The best way to measure your health is if you notice inch loss, if you clothes fit better and if you feel more energetic and light throughout the day. Just eat healthy and exercise and everything will fall into place! :)
