I will use the received donation for making my videos better, to buy lights for my setup, to design my room accordingly, to buy a camera, video editing software, animating software, and more. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Been using archcraft for a year now, it's just arch but simply easier and better, the prepare rices are easy to use and configure, and it's also THE distortion I would recommend to an intermediate in Linux that wants to use arch but doesn't have enough knowledge to install it.
Garuda is better it's Arch Linux out of the box some people will THINK there's bloatware but it's all preconfigured right out of the package been giving it a go for a week it's free and better than Windblows 11 you might want to test drive it before installing using popsicle.
Rofi themes is made by the same dev... He's kinda huge in the customization and ricing area.
Edit: also yo forgot about BSPWM which comes along with openbox.
I am subscribing you, and going to watch some of your videos because you today told me about a repo which tons of rofi themes, which I could use on my NixOS, I never knew something like it exists, only seeing archcraft due to its theming, not to install 😂 as I can't imaging using any distro other than NixOS
Thanks!
I’ve never tried NixOS I love my basic Arch with a modified XFCE desktop environment. I’ll have to try this OS next time I switch…
Bro, what do you use to edit these videos?
The mouse cursor is not visible due to some reason.
Yeah I know... Don't know why. Had a hard time trying to record this.
Following u for a while .you are doing great 👍❤.Can you pls say which is the best distro for laptops
I have Ubuntu installed on my laptop
Try Fedora 40. I have it installed on my TUF. The memory Management is amazing. Works well. Also try KDE version of Fedora. Fedora dosen't break or cause failure during boot and reach grub. Make sure u update packages frequently. Has Flatpak built-in. At this point using Ubuntu is Lame.
Looking at the website of archcraft, it seems like it was made by one guy. Did someone with higher knowledge about arch linux and stuff check the code behind this software? Is it safe to use as a daily driver? (I'm new to linux, don't know how to check for myself)
Is The ArchBuntu? I wanna a Human4 Arch distro
How much is it chat??
It's good that Linux is "boring". It means that it's matured. And I know all the kids love having a riced desktop (I did, too). But nowadays I prefer having a stable system I know will work 100% of the time so that I can get my stuff done.
Yes that's the point of linux. Provide bareminimum so the user can do whatever they like with the System and not get bogged down by bloat.
5:00 those rock themes are made by the same person that made archcraft btw
Wow!
adi1090x is one man army, the entire distro is maintained by this one person
with archcraft i had lots of problems with yay it could not install librewolf or librewolf-bin

There's no way you called Arch simple man what're you smoking lmao
Arch is becoming too easy these days. If you want a challenge, do Linux From Scratch (LFS).
But the arch is built to be simple
Arch Linux defines simplicity as without unnecessary additions or modifications. It ships software as released by the original developers (upstream) with minimal distribution-specific (downstream) changes: patches not accepted by upstream are avoided, and Arch's downstream patches consist almost entirely of backported bug fixes that are obsoleted by the project's next release.
By definition arch is "simple" as in only what you need and literally nothing else lmao
ArchCraft and ArcoLinux just makes Using Arch More Harder, More Abstract........Try Using Arch with Arch-install and More simpler Approach will be "Manjaro" or "Endeavour"......But ArcoLinux or ArchCraft does is to put Layers to Hide the Mechanics which Introduces useless experience with Arch
Don't try Simpler Arch, Try to Harden the Brain
Arch is just becoming simpler. LFS is a real challenge.
@@JohnCrawford1979 LFS>NixOS>Arch
I been using Ubuntu and I fin it grand. I have tried Arch in last but find terminal hard use
Paid arch linux
@@sampletext69420 tis free actually...
Don't buy a Linux it's free switch to Garuda Linux I think they deserve to be the NEXT Arch Linux it's fresh out of the box and it's an everything works distro and works better than even HoloISO I'm kind of addicted to it now over Windows I would not recommend ANY Linux that charges premium it's a SCAM!
Garuda linux is just Arch with a couple GUI tools.
Their theming is way to much for me. I downright think it's ugly AF sorry
garuda is good looking but I tried it 3 times now and I always broke something in it the only distro that didnt get messed is nixOS but that ting is to complicated for me
if you trust Indian devs then it's ok
