I’ve driven a lot of trucks and the ford power stroke is by far the best diesel truck on the market. Love the new look.
I think that's the nicest looking truck in its class on the market right now. If the Lariat is that nice I can only imagine how nice the KR and Platinum are. Thanks for the review and rumor has it mine is being Lariat with the ultimate package is going to be built on May 1st. I'm a Chevy guy and this will be my first Ford.

This thing is nice. Never been big on pickups since don’t really have a need for it but I would love this to take my kids to school around the block and go grocery shopping.

Can you check the gauge cluster next time to show us if there is a way to monitor the transmission temperature, exhaust temperature, and maybe a turbo pressure all for towing information.

Thanks for mentioning the payload! In the market for a heavy duty truck. Is their a difference in payload between the 8ft and the 6 3/4 bed?
It would be so easy for ford to turn this into an SUV. Not a fan of the expedition and the excursion is no longer.
If you don't want something like a expedition or suburban, an excursion would be even worse for you.

@Chase Johnson it's been proven that solar panels on vehicles would be mostly pointless as the conversion would be so low compared to regular charging

Ben, show the Flimsy plastic on the dash top... Everything else is great on this new version, but on Xl's the plastic is like a trampoline!!

That's a pretty good config for a Lariat SD order - don't overdo it, it's s nice truck already. Get the 5th wheel prep, get the upfitters and leave it alone... Skip the Lariat ultimate pkg - which is crazy expensive for a bunch more B&O speakers and tech, might as well get a Limited or Platinum at that point.
Pro power is big bucks too... $1k for a bed outlet? Might as well buy a generator at that price, it will be more versatile for you.
I like the look of the Sport package, but it's too expensive for some black badges and paint IMO. I'd rather change out the bumper to aftermarket for that cost.

I'm genuinely amazed at the payload. I did some math and realised that I (190lbs) could be sitting Ford Mustang GT (~3700lbs) that's on the bed of this thing with my dad (~210lbs) driving the truck and it would be fine (IF the Mustang could fit in the bed).
just go my lariat ho yesterday. It is a bit more responsive than the standard. But I think its going to tow more relaxed.
Update us with you fuel mileage. My 2022 regular 6.7 is pretty dang relaxed too though.
@@DadofBallers Did about 30 miles around town. Stop and go. Around 15.7, but more miles are needed to be accurate. I suspect 18 to 19 on highway, but time will tell

I would not go white for the color. Too many white trucks out there. The new premium color Azure Gray Metallic tri-coat is what I would choose. Everything else the same though.
can you tell a noticeable difference in ride height while driving a tremor vs non tremor with 20 inch wheels?
Rim diameter doesn't matter, outside tire diameter is all that matters on ride height when comparing otherwise identical vehicles.
@Rexford L I'm aware of that. But stock 20s are 34.1 inch compared to Tremor 34.8 inch plus slight light.
