what are your printing specs i.e infill and support and how long does your cr-10 take to print the whole helmet?

So cool! My neighbor's daughter wants me to print one of these for her, but I don't think my 3-d printer is large enough to do it in one piece. I'm pretty inexperienced at it so far, but I don't want to have her buy the file only to find out I can't print it. Does the file from your site have the option to do it in smaller pieces?
I'm curious, why is the helmet's rangefinder/antenna shorter than in BF2 or compared to other clone antennas?
Currently making a mandalorian helmet and I'm about halfway through the filling/sanding phase. Planning on doing a clone helmet next and was wondering if you'd recommend sanding the raw 3D print even if it's in one piece or if you've found that skipping straight to filler primer is the best way to go.
I sanded a lot before the filler primer on my mando helmet and that obviously added a lot of time to the project so it would be nice to skip that step next time.
Go the way he does now, bondo, then sand, then filler primer, than repeat until you’re happy with the smoothness. Watch his newest video, it uses the same structure
How long does it take to print your helmets? I'm thinking about getting a $1000 ish 3d printer, but I want to be able to print at least 3-4 helmets a week, so I'm considering buying two $500 printers instead
Could I order a ready made helmet for more than the prints listed on your site? Custom make maybe?
I've been building props and stuff for..20 years? And even though I know all the tricks and tips you use I find these videos entertaining and motivating. I use the same face shields for my visors (I used to get them free at work but I no longer work in welding so now I have to buy em lol) If you put some hot water in a large pot, doesn't need to be boiling, just hot. You can form the visor material with it. I did that for my shore trooper to get the compound curve for it.
I'll have to try that! I used a head gun on it but it didn't seem to take.
@@GalacticArmory Yeah you have to cool it kinda quick after its in shape, a bottle of cold water to pour over it works

@Galacticarmory i was planning on buying this helmet from your website. the website says it comes in three seperate pieces, but in the video you say it's printed in one. which way is it shipped?
Could you provide where you got the aerators and that middle mouth piece between the aerators from please??

because ordering it from etsy will come in parts ill paint the parts individually just seems easier

I have a problem, the front art does not fit on my ender 3 pro, it only fits if I reduce it by 20%, wouldn't 80% of the original be very small? my head is 56cm

I know it’s been 8 months but here’s a tip for future helmet builds, if you can’t use a lot of tape try using news paper.
Honestly, you should make a respirator inside one of your helmets.

Do you use ABS or PLA? If PLA how do you make sure its durable? do you coat it with resin ?
I use PLA. So long as you use enough outer layers, PLA is pretty durable. I've reinforced it with resin in the past though!
i came across this video googleing for etsy helmets weather someone who actually bought one posted a video of it. im looking for acurate helmets for a long time and im kinda scared of scams in the internet. this looks so good and im kindy hyped what i could do to those helmets ( btw u forgot to paint the mouthpiece black ) :D. maby ill buy one

What about the antenna? Do you have 3d model prints for the antenna in your shop?
Yes I do! It's the 'Officer' version of the original Clone Trooper Helmet
Hows the fogging for the visor since its a plastic base? As opposed to your older videos where you used black netting.
Fogging will be a problem I need to tackle. There are anti-fog sprays out there I may have to try.

rubbing the inside with shaving foam can work as an anti fog protectant.

That helmet is definitely a different stl than the one in your original 501st video. That could be the reason for the scaling issues I had before. Are you able to share that stl?

hi, just wanted to ask, I'm thinking of having a go at 3d printing and as my first printer i was going to buy an ender 3 pro. Am i able to still print these helmets and armour as the bed is smaller than the cr10. I can see you usually split the helmet into 3 parts, am i still able to do it in 3 parts on an ender 3 pro. thanks

@Diesel Shannon shoke troopers were still used in the clone wars
There are Imperial Shock troopers and Clone shock troopers. The imperial shock troopers had the same helmet patterns as the clone shock trooper except that it was on a stormtrooper helmet.
The courasaunt gaurd was made up of clone shock troopers, if you were a shocke trooper, you were a courasaunt gaurd.

You forgot to paint the teeth
to be fair. the gear of a clone trooper is probably going to be clean and not weathered dirty since military since there are some rules regarding these things.
