Isle Switch Paddleboard Unboxing and the BIGGEST fish of MY LIFE!

In this video, I share not only the unboxing but then I immediately take it out for a test run. And I end up hooking up with the largest fish of my life. This paddleboard got me into places I would not have reached on foot, that's for sure!
Plus it only weighs 19 pounds, so it ultra-portable! I was also surprised how many people had questions about it! It's really an amazing watercraft.

I think if you had been using heavier tackle, that fish would have taken you for a ride on that paddle board. My balance isn't so good, I'd have probably ended up in the water. Haha. Still looked like fun
Maybe. I understand Snook are often all about that first run, and if you can survive that you have a fighting chance. But I might as well have hooked a submarine... But it was a blast!
Your still a young pup. I'm so old, my ears are still ringing from the big bang. Too bad you didn't have any top water bait.
Thanks - agree - always tough to guess what to take on the first trip somewhere - and I try to travel light. Not to mention I was focused on panfish and bass...

What a rush indeed! So, at the end of the video, it sounds like you're leaning towards a snook... do you still think so?
Yeah, after reviewing the footage of the rolling fish and more discussion while I was down there, I stumbled upon a winter pocket of mature snook. Hope they are there every year, because I'll take a shot at them again next year!
nice video what was that rod you were using in the last half of the video?
The one I lost the Snook on was the Jenko Double Down. the one I finished with was the Yamaga Blue Current III.
@@AaronHuntFishing interesting never heard of the blue current how do you like it with the aldebaran and are you going to review the rod on your channel ?
@@gmanisfishing I like it so far - really got it as a trout / panfish rod. It's handled smaller bass well too. Haven't hooked anything big on it. I'll do a review eventually - got a backlog of rods and reels to review! I have too much fun fishing...

As said by Chief Brody: You’re going to need a bigger boat. What a rush to hook into something that big. The paddle board looks great. I am looking at buying the NRS kuda inflatable for getting around some small to medium size lakes. Thanks for the video.
Or just a bigger rod - but yeah, the size of some of those I was a little worried about how I'd land one! Hopefully, I get a shot at them again next year! And I was absolutely impressed by the quality of the Isle Paddleboard. I was kinda thinking "inflatable = meh", but not at all. Superb quality. Easy to inflate / deflate, and pack pack up too!
