Isle Switch Hybrid Kayak SUP Review: Perfect for Fishing and More!

- I got to use the Isle Switch Paddleboard while I was in Florida this year, and I was thoroughly impressed. It's a hybrid SUP, meaning it includes a seat and footrest so it can be used as a kayak, but it's also a great stand-up paddleboard. And it's inflatable, so it only weighs 19 pounds and is ultra-portable!

I am a calm water kayaker. I travel a lot in a class B van. A 12’ Pungo sit on top is what I wanted but there is no way. I had to borrow or rent kayaks all the time. I needed something I can easily store in my van and at 75, is easy to get on & off, is stable and can tote around on my own. When I saw the Switch, I immediately wondered if it would be a fit. I watched every TH-cam video I could find. All were positive so I went for it.
The Switch checks off every box for me. It is VERY stable & easy to get on/off. The bag holds everything…including 2 seats & my PFD…. and fits perfectly behind the passenger seat of my van. I’ve had it several months & really enjoy it.
I want to add… the Customer Service at Isle is outstanding. Any question or hiccup has beed addressed by them immediately & to my satisfaction. It’s a great product & company to work with.

Thanks for the review. I think for a vacation take a long item this might work if you are flying there. Not if your driving there. If you still have it. Would like to see you put it through it's paces on a local river or lake where you have to deal with strong currents or wind.
I don't have it, but the relationship seems pretty positive with Isle, so maybe I'll get one to try here in PA this summer.
