w idea tbh... w looks too. ok but seriously it's really interesting seeing people using creativity to thrive in these scenarios. building a base is easy when you have a bunch of resources, time, and safety. but when you don't have those i feel like building with function in mind and strategy just became so much more of a necessity and it results in really cool ideas and creations

You should try a cave world only playthrough, there's a datapack for it. And you could add oppressive darkness.
Imma give you some advice for your next survival run. If you have a iron pickaxe and iron ingots use them to repair your pickaxe in your crafting so you don’t have to use more sticks.
