I literally had a dream that Minecraft was basically this. Just caverns and caverns stacked on top of each other, and you had to dig down deeper than bedrock to see em. With scary underground reptilian like predators and giant worms climbing the walls, ancient underground structures, and ancient god-like humanoids older than the dinosaurs wearing glowing armor the farther you dug.

Entering The Final Maestrom gives me "Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region. Are you certain whatever you're doing is worth it?" vibes.
It's the sudden eerie silence. The moment you enter those biomes, the soundtrack cuts, most ambient noises quiet down, and all you are left with is your own breathing and the occasional eerie roars and screeches of the creatures that inhabit the darkness around you. Subnautica does this in the dunes and mountains, as does this video with the final maelstrom.

Sort of how Journey to the Centre of the Earth and all those fantasy stories would have giant, somehow sun-lit, jungles and worlds underneath the surface.

Everyone always puts the End on top, but at the bottom is where it really makes sense. After all, when you fall in the End you should die, and it's literally called the "END". At the bottom, and after sooo many dimensions, it is truly epic.
This is so COOOL! Reminds me of Heavens, the Middle Earth and the Nine Layers of Hell. And then... The End. It's amazing and deeply chilling to have The End at the BOTTOM of the world. It makes so much thematic sense! Instead of digging through all the layers, you teleport to it through the stronghold. You finish the game at the BOTTOM of the world! Same for the Nether. Though in my opinion, it should be something like this: The Aether Overworld (2x thick) Deep Dark Magical dimensions The Nether The Frozen/Forgotten Wastes The End
So glad someone else also pointed this out. 😂 Though the order should be: Aether Overworld (2x thick) Deep Dark Magical dimensions The Nether The Frozen Wastes The End
Damn, what a nice looking modpack! Loving the vibes the music gives in combination with the scenery, as well as the MIA feeling it has to it. I look greatly forward to seeing what comes of this! :)
What mod type is this for? Fabric or Forge? Or something else idk. And what Minecraft version. Honestly very sick to see this done as I've never gotten the immersive portals world stack to play nice [if I am assuming correctly this is what this is]. And am curious how you got a 10+ dimension stack not to soft lock the world? All be it it was some time ago. Either case I look forward to seeing this.
While I love the concept of deeper cavern biomes like this so much, my only gripe with these underground Minecraft dimension mods is that they almost all are just a reskinned Nether. No unique geographical features or anything, just the Nether generation with different plants, blocks and mobs. So much more these mod devs could do with these mods.
This reminds me of the pack I was working on back in april, I was in the works of a modpack thats based of dimension stacking. Its nice seeing you use infinite abyss and immersive portals. I am down to give you ideas and a great concept I made up, I just ran out of motivation to act on the concept

Feel like your ultrakill falling into another place
This is awesome, I wanna play this mod pack
Watching you fall down through the dimensions reminds me of jumping into the chasms in TOTK
Made in abyss with terraria hellevator.
How long would it take to fall all the way without slow falling?
I say about a good minute maybe minute and a half
It looks exactly like that lol
This looks crazy, if this gets a good amount of content/items. and proper progression for each layer this could be amazing.
Everyone always puts the End on top, but at the bottom is where it really makes sense. After all, when you fall in the End you should die, and it's literally called the "END". At the bottom, and after sooo many dimensions, it is truly epic.
40% put end 上
60% put end 下
the deeper you fell the more terrified I was, this would be an incredible modpack to play
Definitely a Made in Abyss heavily inspired mod, really cool!!
I think this is that new immersive portals feature
This is so COOOL! Reminds me of Heavens, the Middle Earth and the Nine Layers of Hell. And then... The End.
It's amazing and deeply chilling to have The End at the BOTTOM of the world. It makes so much thematic sense! Instead of digging through all the layers, you teleport to it through the stronghold. You finish the game at the BOTTOM of the world! Same for the Nether.
Though in my opinion, it should be something like this:
The Aether
Overworld (2x thick)
Deep Dark
Magical dimensions
The Nether
The Frozen/Forgotten Wastes
The End
I've been waiting for a pack like this to come along. I'd love to playtest it. Reminds me of Total Miner Forge Dig Deep on steroids
Feels exactly like Tears of the Kingdom
Biblically Accurate Circles of Hell
we just missing the City of Dis somewhere around Luzawood Forest
3:10 Nice Made in Abyss reference
Journey to the Center of the Earth but its in Minecraft
So glad someone else also pointed this out. 😂
Though the order should be:
Aether
Overworld (2x thick)
Deep Dark
Magical dimensions
The Nether
The Frozen Wastes
The End
i love tears of the kingdom
excited for your modpack!
awesome shit man reminds me of Noita
Downloading this pack as soon as it’s released. Looks great.
TOTK Link would be so proud of this!
Either case I look forward to seeing this.
this looks insane, and a very nice made in abyss reference before the end there
While I love the concept of deeper cavern biomes like this so much, my only gripe with these underground Minecraft dimension mods is that they almost all are just a reskinned Nether. No unique geographical features or anything, just the Nether generation with different plants, blocks and mobs. So much more these mod devs could do with these mods.
I mean geographical generation is hard especially in a 3d game like mc so I can see why
Idk why but luzawood forest-3:23 seems actually pretty chill
I'd absolutely live there
This reminds me of the pack I was working on back in april, I was in the works of a modpack thats based of dimension stacking. Its nice seeing you use infinite abyss and immersive portals. I am down to give you ideas and a great concept I made up, I just ran out of motivation to act on the concept
