      Yeah I felt really unmotivated this morning, a real sleepy Zombie. But now after doing Adriene's yoga video I feel ready to face the world . I'm diving straight into another yoga practice with Adriene. So yes thank you Adriene for giving me the motivation, it was definitely needed. 😀 and well done to everyone who feels a little Zombie like this morning. 👍 see you all tomorrow. Namaste! 🙏

    I had the worst week as I was on the verge of dissociating for a few days in a row, for some reason I decided to go back to some Yoga with Adrienne (I'm always on and off again). At the end of this practice I found myself crying, for the first time in the week I felt "real ", I felt grounded, and it was like meeting an old friend. So if you're struggling and by some chance find this comment, I see you, we see you. You're here. You're real. And I'm glad you're alive.❤

    I had been feeling a little sad after 2 of my friends moved to another city yesterday. I dropped them at the airport. While coming back I felt like my soul was splitting into pieces. I felt so much pain, sadness and anger too.
    But I remember Adrienne advice that my breath always there to support me. I felt my breathe & allowed myself to feel all the pain of parting away. I also know that I feel too much & they might as well have moved on by now. But I don't wanna blame them. I think I am lucky to be emotionally sensitive & even though sometimes It's painful but I also feel the joy too very much.

    The past weeks were hard for me. Life happens, right?! So, I told myself to keep showing up for my yoga practice, which I did. I'm getting there, slowly but surely. I needed this practice, I suppose I was asking for it. Thank you so much to remind me that I have control over my thoughts, my actions and my emotions, and that I can change my energetic state even when times seem to be working counterclockwise. Love and light to you and all the people in this community.

    Adriene never fails to have my back. I was feeling exactly how she said at the beginning of the video… I WANTED to get on the mat, but after an insane work week, I just felt like warmed up garbage. But I feel SO much better now! And my pup even got in some down dogs with me! 🥰 Thank you so much, Adriene for these videos. I’ve been practicing nearly every day since May (it’s now August) and this daily practice has really helped me to slow down and center myself when I’ve needed it most.

    Day 17 March 2024.... I like this practice... it looked like a plane taking off from the runaway.... start slow, steady calm.... them escalated until flying up... and so it took the mood from the bottom to fly with it ... up❤❤❤❤

    I’m 26 years old and always thought yoga was “silly”. I’m recently battling an annoying dose of depression and anxiety, willing to try anything I googled yoga for anxiety and found one of your videos. I am now a believer. Thank you for helping me lock in for 20 minutes and forgetting about everything but me. I will be back daily.

    November 2023! Dealing with a C-PTSD flare up, trying to support myself with a daily YWA these last few weeks but wasn't even sure I'd make it out of bed today. After some doomscrolling and spinning out, decided to give it a go. I found this video and started it lying on my mattress under the covers -- by the end of it made it to the ground on the mat

    This was perfect for me today 💝 My little 15 year old pup who is almost completely blind and deaf likes to lay at the top of my mat so he knows where I am. He was most confused by the toe tapping as he could feel the vibration but I think he liked it 💞

      Same here. It has helped, and it was the first time in 3 YEARS I returned to the mat - not even the mat, a blanket - and I struggled with my core during downward dog & all that, and couldn't remember the poses etc... And it was AMAZING. a check in with my body and out of my mind and into my breath, 20 minutes of spiritual BREAK from the spiral. Now I'm lighter and happier and thankful and in tears of gratitude for all the community. ❤️❤️❤️

    Adrienne, thank you. Thank you. Words aren't enough really. Your kind leadership to wellness is an important part of my self care. And I admit, I stopped when I got Covid in early September then what seems to have been long Covid. It disrupted my sleep and escalated migraines to 25 nights a month for about six months. Then bronchitis. And now I'm just beginning to work my way back to my physical condition before Covid. This practice was perfect today, the day I returned to the mat finally. I should have never left. Migraine disease can be overwhelming, even when the pain relents, the brain fog, body aches, skin pain, balance problems can be so distracting I forgot to do or consider so many things. I will take steps to ensure I don't leave the mat again. It's too important. Thanks for being there.

    When I usually indulge in cannabis I spend my time watching TV or staying in negative thought patterns but this time,I decided wanted to change my story of my relationship with cannabis. I like NEVER do yoga but recently my friend, who loves YWA, has inspired me.
    Adriene be dropping some subtle spiritual teachings in her practices and for me, I had the revelation as using the presentness in yoga as a way to live my life. I've never viewed it in that way (Thanks cannabis) but it's truly a beautiful way to live. Present moment to present moment.

    i started a new job recently, and today was just a complete bleh day-felt like nothing was going right, came home and promptly took a nap with no chance of going to the gym like i thought! instead of beating myself up over it, i did this video-feeling motivated, and so happy with myself that i found myself smiling as i stretched. thank you adrienne!!

    We haven't been doing yoga in a while, so this was great for a rainy day when we didn't want to go to the gym.
    Also whatever has changed since the last time I did this, my cat was FASCINATED by today's video. Usually they both chill on the extra mat or come ask for pets while we warm up, but today Artemis was transfixed by my phone. She kept tapping it and would walk around it while staring intensely

    Dealing with some major self-hatred and nearly gave up on doing any yoga today-until the literal eleventh hour when I found this video. I started from my bed but finished on the mat.     I'm not someone who comments. However, I am so thankful for this practice today! I've been dealing with an excruciating and challenging mental health week and even the pilates I typically do felt like too much. This practice was perfect to help me find the motivation to move on from my pajamas into the rest of my day. Thank you so incredibly much.

    After a very intense and hectic summer I found myself in a depression. I used to do yoga daily, but the more hectic the summer was the less I did it. Now finally the energy is changing within me, I put on youtube on my pad and there this video is. I know it is meant to be, start it and noticing how much pain my body is in when doing simple poses Ive been so used to doing with ease really blows my mind. Instead od f being angry or disappointed in myself Im so happy And proud of myself for doing this. Your videos truly change and save lives Adriene! Thank you ❤

    I never comment on videos but I felt compelled to say thank you. This morning woke up at 0500, hardly having an ounce of sleep. Too many thoughts in my mind. I had not done any yoga since the lockdown during COVID. Doing this rather than stay in bed restless has been amazing for my well being today. I feel much more at ease and energised.     I’ve been really into these yoga videos lately. I wish Adriene posted more! My dog does the same thing hers does, lays next to me and relaxes while I practice yoga. It’s so cute. I’m so grateful for these videos.

    I needed this so bad this morning. Just feeling so not very motivated at all but I know no matter how I'm feeling I can always come on to my mat and I always feel way better afterwards. A very dear friend of mine got me back into yoga again and introduced me to this wonderful community. No matter what is going on in my life, I know I can always come find a nice flow and just feel that peace knowing there's this beautiful community of like-minded people. So grateful for that. No matter what is going on in our lives, we can always find peace on our yoga mats. Wishing everyone the very best in life. Namaste 🤍🙏

    I've been doing 45-55 minute practices on YWA, including power yoga (sometimes in addition to 45min video), for the past few weeks. I've been showing up every day, but I realised I've been pushing myself pretty hard. This was the perfect video to help me show up today, just for myself

    Adriene I don’t know how you always manage to know EXACTLY what the collective needs at all times. I’ve been sick for a couple of weeks and unfortunately couldn’t show up on the mat for a while there, this was the perfect practice to come back to and reset. I feel blissful and like I truly “rung out the dirty rag”, thank you always Adriene, you are a godsend ✨🤍

    I lost my sweet Chihuahua, Chico, of 15.5 years on March 6th. Thank God for this channel and the yoga journey because it’s how I find peace. He used to sit on the mat with me while I did my practice on this channel. Or he would lay on it just as I was setting up and looking for a video to start the day with. Being on the mat is a special place to be. It’s a port in a storm. Thank you so much, Namaste

    For me also Adriene's Gentle morning yoga does miracles when I'm unmotivated. It starts really slow on the ground and gently moves up and it feels sooo good.

    Oh my gosh. Everyone says that Adriene always knows what we need….
    I’ve been doing daily yoga for years. Got covid in February. Bizarrely stopped doing yoga 🤷‍♀️ initially because I felt weary but then just got out of the habit.
    Today I felt stiff and fed up. Really must get back into yoga I thought.
    And there it was ….” Yoga for when you are unmotivated “
    Adriene are you psychic or what?
    And then while I’m on the mat I wondered why I had ever stopped.
    Thank you Adriene and Benji. I’ve missed you ❤️❤️

    I was feeling super stressed and was on my way to avoiding yoga, as well as procrastinating everything I need to do today. Decided to just turn on the YWA and see what's there. Bingo.     2 years ago me and my daughter almost died (I was 30 weeks pregnant with severe pneumonia) she was brought into the world early needing surgery and I was put into a coma. Since then I've neglected myself and lost a lot of myself (struggling with ptsd and depression) This past week I've promised to look after my body and mind and be a healthier me for myself, my husband and my kids. I didn't plan on doing yoga today but I'm so glad I did. I used to practise every day and loved how it made me feel. 22 minutes of my day spent on myself and I'm sat on my bedroom floor feeling that lovely positive glow I used to feel. Yoga really had gotten me through a lot, I'm glad I've returned to this channel. Thank you Adriene ❤

    As everyone has said. Not motivated is the right one for me today. Between hormonal craziness and a never ending winter( where are you spring). I have just wanted to hibernate.
    Went on a good walk with a friend this am despite the cold but had not done my yoga yet for today.
    This was a great way to wind everything down for bed.

    Good morning, April 19 th 2023 , yesterday Was a difficult day, as my mother Still persists to have my precious teeth removed. My teeth are fine , it's so aggravating 😢. So , I didn't sleep well last night and I was unmotivated this morning. Still tired, but it's always great to see you and my baby , Benji. Thanks for being with me this morning.     I’m recovering from my first Covid infection and this seemed to be the perfect practice to see what’s going on with my body. Some downward dogs were too much for me, I just was in tabletop for those. Thank you, Adriene and many thanks to the beautiful community out there!

    To anyone on a healing journey of any sort, the days can be hard. The pain, the emotions, the sadness, crying or whatever else you may be experiencing can be exhausting. I've learned so much from showing up to the mat daily. The main thing is self love and acceptance. I've gone from judging myself almost all of the time to only judging myself sometimes. Self acceptance is key to this journey and I know through God and Adriene they are teaching me this. So this is for the people at the beginning of their healing journey. Keep going - even when you think you can't. Keep going. Keep showing up. It doesn't matter how long the journey takes, I know it will be worth it in the end. Namaste.

      Please do not exercise until at least a few weeks after you’ve recovered! Jumping into it too quickly increases chances of longer term complications

      I agree. Take care after Covid. I would practice qui gong with Ksany. It is on You Tube and is SO slow and gentle. Please, do not push yourself.

    Blessed Beloved Beauties! I was so thrilled to see this session again so soon as Root Day - 24. It was enjoyable last month and especially encouraging today. Often, we feel unmotivated off the mat. I fell off my running 🏃🏿‍♀️ regimen 3 days in a row. I am so excited to share that I am about to go on a run 🏃🏿‍♀️ next before I work on my part-time gig. Now, I am motivated. Best wishes, everyone! 🦋♥️🦋

      Hope your run went well yogi friend, I am about to get ready for run, I did couple ones on my own last week, this morning I was back on mat and I did yoga for Rainy day. It was good for my left ties and hips ( it still can feel pain on it, having a support blanket under helps, just need to strech it and be patient) maybe I repeat the video for a week. Life is getting better. At the moment I think that I just try to live at the moment, enjoy the run if I make it or pick up yoga session which feels good for the day (and my hip😂). Maybe the three day pause from running gave your muscles a rest. ☺💚

      @Hanna Löfman How's your hip feeling today? That run 🏃🏿‍♀️ was amazing! I only ran twice last week. Usually, I run 5 days. Yes, my muscles 💪🏾 appreciated the rest. Thank you for the words of encouragement. I returned to a part-time gig, so I have been off balance, yet I reclaim balance starting Monday. I have to because I'm instructing a morning and afternoon online English class until the end of the school year. This will help with that military 🪖 discipline marine time my dad enforced during my childhood. I will return to a rise time between 4:00 A.M. - 5:30 A.M. and rest time between 9:00 P.M. - 10:30 P.M. 😊🙏🏿

      @@zuriwilson-seymore8939 thanks for asking it is still quite stiff. Now our older dog stoped eating, My daughter usually has her, but know they are going to Japan for three weeks. The dog has kidney problems, so we need to give her three difgerent types of medication. And then we have her 1 y.o dog plus our own lab which had surgery a week ago. So definately doing dog caring at the moment

      @@zuriwilson-seymore8939 I am impressed getting up that early, I used to run with our dog weekdays 5:45-6:15 when I was youger, but now it would be great to get up at 7 and go for a run at 8. Oh well maybe I get into some kind of rythm after the dogs start to recover. Happy weekend💚🤗

    So Ive been terrible the past couple weeks about doing my daily yoga and I told myself today I was going to do it no matter what but I wanted to see what todays video was as opposed to the day Im actually on and I feel like there is a SIGN that the day I decide to get myself together is the day we do an unmotivated yoga video 😂❤ cant wait until lunch!
