I once had a PH torment my friend, hook them, tunnel off the hook and cage them, and ran right for the cage to kill him when he got out making DS useless. Fun times

A good trick for cone head is to activate your power when you're close to a pallet or window, then either cancel if they don't commit or activate your wave attack if they vault or drop a pallet. There's no counterplay as far as i can tell, a guaranteed hit
Most survivors know that when being chased by Pyramid Head, it is preferable to just take the torment affect rather than lose distance by crouching over the trails. That being said, players evading my trails by crouching over them isn’t an issue I’ve had. All I need to do is chase them towards one. Works every time.
I enjoy these videos. They tell you how to play the killer without being long winded and the perk section isn't just listing the same 4 meta perks ad nauseum.
Only thing that actually bothers me about this killer is how easy it is for people to tunnel. Wanna tunnel someone to death? Get them tormented at a loop, down them, send to a cage, immediately walk to cage, down the survivor who probably just got saved, and then hook him. Now all of a sudden he's on death hook, and with one more loop, you can mini mori this man, quite possibly before 2 gens even pop. It's happened to me and my friends a lot.

I never would've thought to hook a tormented survivor. I'm often so excited just to catch them I Cage them right away-- but you're right. It's basically a free hook AND a lot more of your stuff works on them if they're tormented and running around the map. Excellent video! I'll adjust my play style accordingly!

I really like these videos, keep them coming! Pyramid head to me seemed like he would be hard to learn and difficult to use, but he’s actually pretty easy one you play him a little and really fun. He definitely requires practice if you want to really get good with him, but overall I think he’s great.

I'd consider the obsidian goblet to be that addon that allows you to free a perk spot if you run insidious (at least you can also move compared to insidious). The only play I've ever made with the goblet was on Lampkin where I had already sacrificed a survivor or two and someone was repairing the gen downstairs of one of the houses (in the room with all the lockers). This survivor was healthy so I wanted to start a chase with the advantage; not looking in lockers and having him run away. I made trails around the room and waited outside. Sure enough back on the gen and I swooped in a got a hit in. Made the chase super easy. Though the play could've also been made with insidious cause I couldn't ride the trail into the room. Got a good jump scare I imagine. This addon is most definitely situational. You have to think about what you plan to do with it.

The devs even said in one of their recent Q&A that they’re gonna make camping/tunneling less appealing, yet here we are with tunnel head.

@@dannithedanki8271 yeah I left this game for all the killer nerfs, I'm not gonna play a bad game that punished me for not using a certain perk and also mentally abuses me every time I get a 4k.
I once managed to hit three survivors at once with Rites of Punishment while i tried to adept Triangle Face. While i didn't get the adept (even though i should have but the emblems bugged out), it felt sooooo _satisfying_ to pull that off.

It's like seeing my self In this video and I have seen it only just now, I'am running Surge, Nurse Calling, I'am all Ears and Corrupted, once you master Pyramid Head and you move with full confidence this build works great ( for me that is). You can even use Rights of Judgment to mark ur own hex totems, if somone decides to clense it he gets a torment and you get informed about it.
If you do make a series of this, you should do demogorgon next. Love your videos!

It's true about survivors being afraid of PH's, "raspberry jam". When I run PH I commonly use his trails during loops to force survivors to either choose taking the debuff, or divert from their current path and potentially make it easier for me to catch them.
In fact, in a recent match where I wasn't even paying full attention to where a survivor was during a loop, I ended up drawing the trail completely around them and boxing them in against the terrain without realizing, only to find them standing in the middle of a circled trench they refused to move away from. They would have rathered I downed them normally, than risk me catching them after the fact and sending them to a cage instead of a hook.

Trail of torment is soooo underrated, it's ridiculous. It doesn't even matter that there's a tell when it's used, because survivors can't not be working in gens or doing something for even a second... And it's basically up enough that you get plenty of opportunities. I love it, for instance, on Deathslinger with M&A because his TR is already so small at a base but survivors are ultra vigilant and assuming they will get some notification of you aiming at them from a distance at least, because they don't expect a full approach without a TR. I'll put it like this, it has had some of the best results against red ranks I've ever gotten with DS.
the obsidian goblet should increase duration and width of trails. while increaseing move speed when leaveing the trails(and you can leave longer trails)
the madalion should make the ranged atack launch a half range blast behind you, increase front blasts range by 10 meters, and make it leave trails of torment
I like your idea on making the ultra rare have surviors hit with punishment of the damned become tormented, I also think one them should just show you the aura of surviors in cages like you use to be able to do, but now just make it an addon, I hate how killer addons are just getting really crappy, it's not fun for either side

Does anyone else notice that the DLC actually has more of a story to it in a way, I think. I haven't read the Bio's of both characters, but I feel like I've found some interesting symbolism behind their perks/abilities that they both have and why they're made in the way they are.
I mean they're all based on items/ lore of the games.

The only counterplay I found is to drop pallets early cause 90% of Pyramid Heads I’ve run into are too stubborn to break it
I now I’m three months late but the reddit around the 3 minute mark was about how going after someone off hook isn’t tunneling
Even if you u can aim your punishment of the damned correctly it is extremely easy to dodge there’s a red outline that appears when you use punishment of the damned that basically just lets survivors know where the no no square is and it takes 3 years for it to travel across the floor

I think instead of the trash pink one it should be that when your floor things come up if it hits a pallet that has been pushed down it destroyed it kinda like legions pin I think the pink pin
I...just learned that his ranged ability doesn't inflict torment....huh, I guess since I haven't found a good pyramid head yet i just never noticed that it didn't.
What I like to use for pyramid head is monitor and abuse, dark devotion, nurses calling, bbq and chili

@@DarthRane113 Yep, they hate that you can get rid of their crutch perks. Most likely the ones that whines about when a killer wins because it was not fair or simply tries to blame everything but themselves.
I just hate the fact that you can get farmed of the cage and not even get your exhaustion perk back up to atleast have a bit of a chance, it's one of those i have to trust my team not to fuck me over while no 2nd chance perk or exhaustion perk works. Lemme just say even at rank 1 i don't even trust these guys to do gens properly.

Crouching through the trail in a chase is situational imo. If you're probably gonna loop him for a while then yeah ofc run through but if you're gonna go down anyway by not getting tormented you can waste 10-15 seconds getting hooked instead of running for a second or two extra or you can prevent yourself being immediately tunneled and deleted from the game.

on the first time i played the Excecutioner i managed to hook basement 3 people without camping
think my build on PH is kinda good, I need corrupt intervention tbh, but ive got Trail of torment, unrelenting (so I dont fuck up a hit) sloppy butcher for the effect and Hex: No One Escapes Death for a little endgame trickery
dunno if this build is actually good but I found it quite useful, especially the hex cause people will get cocky and try to pull a fast one only for them to regret their decision

I would say a jerks guide to killers would make sense popularity wise, I usually tend to watch all of those in a row, so the more you make, the more people will go through all of them once they discover them
