I love fnaf as down to it's core it's about a man making stuff up as he goe's while having an IMMENSE amount of luck on his side, and having the time of their life, lying and diverting your questions to you face saying "hmm yes it's all apart of My GrAnD pLaN" and that they knew from the start. the only reason you wouldn't believe that their lying is because of the fog of mystery on them.
So which one does this is in line with the most. the creator, or the moldy cheese rabbit.

History of the games aside, as a lifelong democrat, I find it really disgusting that Scott was "cancelled" for donating to politicians he likes. Boycotting someone for disagreeing with your political views is the opposite of democratic.

I think what happened with Security Breach isn't the fact that the devs needed more time to develop, I think they went *way* over their head when making the levels, and then realized "Oh shit, we forgot to actually make the game" so now we have a very good environment with not good gameplay. To sum it up, they needed less work, not more time.

The thing is fnaf 1 is that foxy will be slowed down in his movement opportunities while the camera is on/viewed in general, not just viewing pirates cove.
I love this game’s lore so much my first exposure to the game was playing the first game then watching the first game theory on fnaf. That is what triggered my love for weird lore for games
I'm not super into the fnaf gameplay (though I definitely understand that fnaf 1 is really well designed), but I have massive respect for the series.

Great vid as always Rowby! :D i remember first hearing about it from the React channel where they played the game. then getting into ~the lore~ through MatPat. never played them myself, but it was fun watching others find little clues and put things together! ...and not being sure if they were Scott's intentions, or just little inconsistencies in the writing, red herrings, or just little happy accidents. And watching the FNAF fandom on tumblr. Watching from afar because that dumpster fire was toxic lol

Since you didnt bring them up, I feel I should. The VR games, Help Wanted 1 and 2, are genuinely great. They're my favorite of the series, and I can confidently say that HW2 is the first game in the series that is more fun to play than it is to watch. Do you realize how rare that is for this kind of game? Kind of a shame that it only can be played by a huge minority of people.
I know HW1 has a non VR mode, but dont play it because it's terrible. Who would have thought that turning a VR game into non VR isnt nearly as good. I've seen it work by making non VR games into VR, but never the other way around
I've heard very positive things on the Help Wanted games. But I think buying a VR headset for an FNAF video would have been even more degrading.

Remember you can beat the game in 5 minutes, used to beat it early accidentally, and fucking save points at 6 which people glitches the game to save
It is such a shame fnaf 4 didn't get spotlighted in this video, as, of course, it is my favorite out of the whole series. I feel like it has the perfect blend of atmospheric tension and fun gameplay. I think the breathing sounds isn't that hard to hear, I personally have way more trouble hearing thr vent sounds in pizza sim.
I fell the need for this to be an hour long is like giving us prechewed gum and telling us to stick it behind our ear saving it for later
fnaf 1 to me is still one of the scariest too me I think it's the dark and depressing looking location of the office it's not that scary to me anymore but sometimes it happens and I cry in my bed scared to sleep like the amnesia games but fanf is temporary trauma I can't even get past the first like 20 minutes of any amnesia game without feeling like im one muscle twitch away from having a brown bed mattress

Y'know, the Security Breach we got is only about a third of the intended size. In the original plan, time was a timer, and unlike previous games it was YOU who races the clock, rather than the animatronics doing so to kill you in time or 6 am just being 'whenever you do all your tasks' like SL or FFPS. This means Moon would have more presence, gives more reason for that 'we're shutting down for a couple weeks' message at the start, and means you spend the titular Five Nights at the titular location.
The map also was artificially made 'bigger' by removing basically all of the cutthrough areas and shortcuts, so you have to walk farther to achieve your quests, that way it can still have the expected time to complete despite the mechanics and assets being missing for a bunch of missions they wanted to add. This is where a lot of dead-end routes to collectibles were meant to lead.
And, of course, the story was basically just cut entirely. Not that it was the intended story, since it's just come out that burntrap was intended to be a little environmental easter egg and not what SteelWool made him into, hence the ending recon Ruin pulls. Vanny had the potential to be a compelling villain, but has been largely wasted thus far, her intended roles sliced from all the games she was intended for. Except Special Delivery, the AR mobile game you can't play anymore.
I wish Michael got half the story you think he does. There's no confirmation of most stuff, like why he's going between locations (something which was just a matpat theory later confirmed in a one-off book despite not being initially intended at all), no real indication that he's Freddy, no indication at all that he survives the fire that he should've orchestrated in Pizza Sim despite getting his spotlight stolen by Henry's mediocre character who was inserted as a novel crossover that retcons half the lore. What a fucking mess of a franchise. I love the potential it has, despite how it has always wasted it.
I just wanted to inform you that all evidence points to the glam rock animatronics not being possessed but rather just super advanced somewhat sentient AI.

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure the flashlight in Fnaf 2 only does anything on Foxy. Scott made it that way so you couldn't just keep the mask on. And the Music box was so you actually had to open up the cameras

i wish we could have gotten the original security breach the one from the trailers with vanny being a present threat and wielding an actual knife and stuff like the moon encounter in the dark kitchen it seemed to me it was going to be great but some sort of metteling took place and they needed to rush changes for almost the entire game as well as being forced to release the game early
