Actually I saw a pretty reasonable theory as to why Philip rings the bell when he comes out of his invisibility. Basically it said that he rings the bell to warn the survivors of his arrival because he failed to ring the bell to warn his village of- idk who killed them all I didn't read the lore but anyways he rings the bell to warn the survivors because he doesn't actually want to kill them, he's just forced to by The Entity
I just ring it because it messes with them. It's like turning on the lights in the kitchen and watching the mice run around in blind panic except for the one in the corner that really wants that cheese and no giant with a shoe will stop me from stuffing my face.

Imagine being Phillip watchmojo and trying to warn the survivors of your arrival but the entity replaced your clapper with a new one
I remember a modified or maybe the same theory where a person said that while the wraith works like any other killer (sees the survivors as more of an inconvenience than actual people) he still hits the bell out of guilt for letting his friends down, he enjoys killing, but gives the survivors a chance that he failed to give his friends.

Even with his flaws, the wraith is my favorite killer. His hit and run tactics are so fun imo and I love sneaking up on people
With certain addons he becomes an invisible tier 1 myers and I love him for that sole reason

I like how the builds and perks you suggest aren’t all typical meta perks, it actually encourages people to try out less used perks and be more creative with their builds.
Remember when you could stun the wraith just by shining a flashlight in his direction while he was cloaked? Yeah, that used to be a thing. The Wraith used to be the most terrible killer in the game by far. Now he's only mostly terrible.

The reason crushing cars was better than digging a grave was because the body would then be basically glued into the car itself making it harder for its discovery if said car was then melted down or just buried
Nothing tops the immense fun of equipping both cloak speed add-ons and rapidly smacking the bell everytime you get into a chase

2 things that need some clarification: blood doesn't get highlighted when you're cloaked anymore (not sure when they took it away but it made bloodhound even more irrelevant than it already was)
And the wooshing noise from cloaking/uncloaking isn't global, It's a 40 meter range (with the bell itself being in a directional 20 meter radius)

I got the game a week ago and decided to try Wraith a day later. I tried my best, but everyone was still teabagging and taunting constantly, even in plain sight, without the gate open. Tried being sneaky by cloaking and uncloaking around others but they always spotted me so I thought I was just too obvious.
Then I watched this video. I still have a bruise on my forehead from when I facepalmed at 2:38.

Honestly the idea of having a sexuality not existing within the entity's realm was interesting in the beginning. I remember one of the devs mentioning it, because why wouldn't you do anything to distract yourself from the fact that you're gonna be playing a deadly game of tag in the near future. What I mean by this is the devs said that the characters by themselves have been stuck there for a long time now, and may have tried things they wouldn't have done otherwise.

@@alexanderalatorre3390 I guess it did sound weird. What I mean is I enjoyed the idea of this because it was a way to be inclusive without feeling incredibly forced and meant to just pander. It was a subtle way of adding world building that both made sense and pleased the audience.

Wraith is the easiest to play. Sneak up on a surv doing a gen, hook the surv and cloak in the corner waiting for backup. Rinse and repeat.
