- Hey everyone, today we’re looking at every character’s worst addon from throughout DbD history. Some are more current, and others have their worst addon from a while back, either way I’m going to try and identify the worst for each. Let’s get into it.

I think the worst part about Nemesis' licker tongue add-on is that I didn't even realize that the tentacle strike gave the survivors the hindered status effect until I read that add-on.
It does and it is significant (if you use the tentacle slap up-close).
Combined with faster CD than a basic M1, chaining a close-up tentacle strike into M1 is very viable.
If you don’t run STBFL on Nemi, slapping the rescuer with a tentacle almost guarantees them not making enough distance to avoid follow up M1 lunge.
The reason why you don’t “feel” the snowdon is because… you hit people AWAY from you with your power, and they make normal distance.
If his tentacle had no slowdown, survivors would make the whole tentacle’s worth of distance + normal injury distance on top of it, and Nemesis would feel horrendous to play as
Perception matters, essentially
Survivor Item addon: "increases medkit charge by 20 billion and gives endurance/deploys a flashbang in front of the killer's IRL computer on blind/instantly deletes generator from the game and opens exit gates"
Killer power addon: "increases killer move speed by 0.1% if it's raining on a tuesday while the exit gates are open and there's one survivor left"

CoconutRTS also says its an S tier addon. No terror radius messes with surviviors even more WITH the lullaby.

man going up against a stealth huntress on midwich/rpd is really painful
wooden fox is underrated as hell. It has the same idea as the bone clapper in that its hard to tell where you are coming from, With my main huntress build I can use aura reading w/ the undetectable to get free downs
Until visual terror radius came to the game, then it becomes pointless (see the stupid thing about visual terror radius that is not stonks is the fact that it reacts equally to lullabies as it does terror radiuses, which basically made undetectable status effects on lullaby killers what was previously thought in the past by people who didn’t realize the mindfuck potential of removing the exact location survivors had of the killer and instead only giving the survivors a “whispers” perk level of knowledge on where the killer was in relation to them, useless.) (p.s. If I implemented the visual terror radius I would have made a separate indicator of lullabies that appears under the heartbeat indicator which would only appear if you were in a lullaby radius and gave no further indication of how close or far you were from the killer, I would probably make this indicator a tiny purple music note. Also I would have made the actual heartbeat indicator not respond to lullabies leaving the only way to tell when you were or were not in a lullaby radius was whether or not the lullaby indicator was on your screen.)
@@GoodlyData86596 so like, but lullaby is also heard while you are undetectable, so nothing changes. They are going to see that constantly, then become desensitized to it, giving an easy down.
@@dylanger1015 lullaby is highly imprecise data, like the perk whispers for killer. Terror radius is semi precise data, like killer instinct for killers. Making lulabies transform into extended terror radiuses for the visuals terror radius is therefore an indirect nerf to lullaby based killers. I was not in any way trying to make your build sound any less valid, I was just trying to say that the visual terror radius could scare off survivors that otherwise wouldn’t have been scared off at the start of the match with the wooden fox addon activated. When most survivors see the heartbeat start they quietly bolt because what doesn’t know you exist nearby them cannot kill you. Then they come back once the terror radius went away for a bit, most people however don’t bolt when they *hear* lullabies because for all they know, they could be at the edge of the lullaby radius and the killer is just passing through another area, that’s how imprecise lullabies are. (especially trickster’s 56 meter lullaby radius, god damn is it quiet as shit when you are In it’s range but the visual terror radius user knows your “close” from a mile away and will fucking run if they didn’t have line of sight to your yellow ass.)
For Dredge it’s always a tie between the War Helmet and Sacrificial knife

the chain distance add ons are great for stealth cenobite. Become undetectable and use nurses calling plus sloppy butcher to really annoy survivors.
We should count our lucky stars that Demo was given some addon attention prior to his departure. Even with the Rat Liver nerf, he was and still is in a better state than many other killers. Hard to believe this upcoming November already marks two years since ST left. Maybe once the show ends with season 5, Netflix might offer it back to DBD to milk it for more profit. But the season release isn't until 2024-2026 realistically so it would still be a long time. However, as long as the community remains vocal to Netflix about ST, there is always hope for a return. I have faith. 🥰
Demogorgon is in a very small and prestigious group being one of the most balanced killers in the game.
I will never forget the day Netflix made the recent announcement of a 2nd ST collab with Roblox and their own Tweet got ratio'd by people asking for it to return to DBD
It's seriously a miracle that the one killer they pulled was and still is extremely balanced.

singularity's worst add on is definitely the one that gives survivors oblivious, but only if you teleport to them specifically from a biopod, which the survivors will never let you do if they're good, and at that point the oblivious is useless since you're probably going to want to chase the survivor
In defence of Clown's feather addons, I'm _pretty_ sure his bottle throw cooldown also applies to other actions like vaulting or the break action. It's still not particularly useful, but it lets you throw a bottle and then do something else quicker, for smoother gameplay.
Also great for pinky finger Clown to get people at windows/lockers.
Arguably, only the Feather addons help you transition from yellow to purple addons to benefit from both his speed and movement slow aspects. And theres no reason one would think that VHS is a good addon in any way

Tbh, I’ve never actually have thought about how Charcoal Stick could be detrimental in chase, which makes me think the addon definitely needs a buff.
One idea I have is to make it so survivors within 24 meters of the Artist can’t see her Dire Crows revealed for 0.5 seconds.
For old Amanda’s letter I would say it had a slight niche. By default there was only four boxes reduced to only 2 with the add on so you could body block one of the boxes and maybe bag 2 kills if you ran the add on that gave you an extra trap and win a double 50/50. If not you could potentially just down the survivor if they choice that as their first box
Wooden fox is actually pretty good, I run it all the time. Catches alot of survivors off gaurd.
Compound 7 is pretty bad but it helped me to learn blight.
Wooden Fox is much better now at 30 seconds, that's a long time and really throws people off, plus no red stain is really REALLY good for mind games.

Compound 7 is also nowhere close to Blight's worst addon. That would go to old Adrenaline Vial.
Waterlogged shoe and BFFs combine nicely with NOED as people dont often expect the noticable speed increase as well as the fact that they increase your speed when carrying survivors which helps with placement, bodyblocks, and quick defence during endgame. Especially useful as it counters the Adrenaline/made for this/Hope meta ive been noticing

I love these videos keep it up! Btw imo nurses worse addon is the 4.6 after a blink one. And for Clown the feathers were his best addons cuz he used to get slowed down after a throw, reducing that time reduced the distance lost.

I would actually argue that Licker Tongue isnt even Nemesis' worse addon. It's his second worse addon one-upped by Stars Combat Manual. All it does is cause a zombies' aura to turn yellow for 6 seconds. Most of the time, when a zombie attacks a survivor, you're usually in chase against said survivor. You have to hope the survs you're playing against are incredibly oblivious of their surroundings.
You know what’s funny in the ptb so singularity’s purple add on that inflicts the broken effect was actually longer and they nerfed this killer literally got nerfed with bug fix patch to buff his add ons
i used legion's BFF for a few matches
1) you don't always get enough tokens to activate it
2) when you do get enough tokens, you're probably already at enough of an advantage to not need it to win, and that's if you even get to the endgame.
I have a Small Theory and that is that by the Dancing Marionettes Charm there is Huntresses Mask and another Strange mask and i think that that one is Maybe Plagues Mask in the next Event. And nice Vid as Always.
I think AZHYMOV's worst addon is the yellow "sped up video"
Sure, you gain knowledge in a faster rate, but it has the downside of reducing the "Hey Everyone" from 1.0 to 0.75, which is not worth it
I just had a silly idea that would be interesting in custom games. Imagine if they allowed you to make custom addons based on the states that can be already modified by addons ( whether with a points systems or just free reign)
While it’s something that will never be added, just due to it not only being hard to implement but also someone would find a way to bring it into a public match probably and ruin the fun

If I’m not mistaken didn’t the clown addon used to help reduce the slow down after a thrown bottle? I think that actually made it decent till they removed the slowdown

Little adjustment: pigs iri addon did reduce the boxes by 2 BUT pig used to have only 4 boxes so it was 2 boxes not 3. Basically camping one box and playing poker with the survivor.
Hey AZHYMOVS I have a video idea for you, you should make a video on Killer addons you think should become basekit for them, with various reasons why such as making their power actually work better or it’s something they need to be better, an example I have is the Caged Heart Shoes for Trickster, they make him way better and the fact it’s not basekit is annoying

Edit: as a Nematoad main, so many add-ons are pitiful. Lickers tongue is sooooo useless, i think they should have made it where the whip attack makes survivors drop their items (like Bubba’s add on does for his power)
Do you mean Franklin's Demise? Because that's a perk, not an add-on. I don't play Bubba so I'm unfamiliar with his add-ons, but the item-dropper that came with him was a perk.

I’d say the pigs skill check addons are worse because at least the letter was useful in stealth pig builds
The clown’s robin feather used to be more useful.
Even though, it’s been buffed, it was one of the two add ons that reduced how much he slowed himself by. The original slowed him by ~15%, sometimes negating the benefit of the bottles
I wish they bring back the cold dirt addon it was more effective than the BFF addon
As a years-long Bubba main I would not say that Pre-Rework Bubba's worst add-on was the Chainsaw File. That at least did nothing. His worst was the old Award-Winning Chili, since his acceleration add-ons did nothing to affect his speed (which Behaviour admitted when they reworked him) and it doubled the duration of your tantrum if you ran into something. So it was effectively a self-nerf that you spent 6000 bloodpoints on.

I agree that red herb on wesker is awful and completely useless but honestly his worst addon is rpd walkie because it makes your first bound completely useless and you pretty much don't have power at loops i recommend you try it and let me know what you think

Wooden fox is actually pretty good. Huntress mains can perform crazy stuff with it despite the lullaby. Even more so, lullaby is not as huge of a deal for huntress if undetectable, because it makes it very hard for survivors to predict what is killer doing and where exactly.
I think Oni's Polished Maedate should allow him to max his power passively so that first effect is actually useful.
Huntress' Wooden fox had its uses now a lot better but for the most part rusted head is bad considering the other heads are better that being said all her add ons have use compared to so many others

While I wouldn't say that Knight's torch addon is good, especially with how he's so Map of the Realm dependent, it's probably not his worst addon, it has no downside other than the opportunity cost. Meanwhile, the one that double summons the jailer is actively detrimental by making it take longer to cycle through to the more useful Carnifex or Assassin. Torch activations also can happen if you're confident in your basic M1 killer play and are using the guard as a kind of slowdown, setting a guard on an objective where you predict someone will be and then chasing a different person.
As an Artist and Weskie main I can say, that charcoal stick is really good add-on and red herb is definitely not the worst add-on.
I think Matias' Baby Shoes are the worst. You get no value out of them if Survivors are smart and hold W. Basically if they know the best counterplay to Artist and don't stay at a loop and stare at you over a pallet or near an easily-zoned area, you get nothing. The range is too small to work effectively. It should be a brown meme add-on, not a freaking purple.
Any of the addons that modify infection rate are bad, not just for Wesker as they don't make much of a different but for game design as a whole. To get value out of them you pretty much HAVE to tunnel infection survivors off hook as they start at 50% infection.
@@CreditR01 as for me the worst artist's addon is the freaking portrait. I don't understand why this trash can be iridescent. Shoes could be like green or yellow I think. But charcoal stick is insane.
@@BunnychanFarabee I think this addon is pretty good for pressure. If someone is not so familiar with Wesker's ability, they can use something like this to get more value from their rare hits with an ability. Of course we have our beloved egg, bug, grey medallion and gloves, but herb is not the worst addon at all.
Robin Feather allowed you to attack faster after throwing a bottle as Clown, because originally Clown couldn't swing during his cooldown.
Clown's _actual_ worst addon is his current "Spirit of Hartshorn" addon. It makes the size of your *yellow speed bottles* larger, making it *easier* for Survivors to run into and *speed themselves up.*
Scrapped tape plus interview tape is really good
I feel that both effects should be combined to form an iridescent add on to replace iridescent king

I can’t think of a better way to start the morning than by watching one of your videos
Adrenaline Vial on Blight release made his power utterly uncontrollable.. However, it was buffed to such a ludicrous degree that everyone has forgotten how terrible it used to be. I'd argue it was far worse than current Compound 7.
I main Artist, Dredge & Spirit and agree with your choices. The only other add-on I'd consider the worst for Artist is Matias' Baby Shoes. I like the aesthetic but the effect is terrible and doesn't activate consistently (in my experience). Plus if you're playing against decent Survivors, they know to hold W and not stay in a loop for long, and only if they do will you get any Shoes' value. I hope they rework the effect because it's pretty useless. I never use War Helmet or Senko Hanabi unless it's for shits and giggles.
For pig I would say Amanda's secret. Trash effect for such a downside effect of removing jigsaw 's auras from boxes

As a twin main, i like the addon sewage sludge, you have to use it right for it to be a good addon
Cat's Eye is my favorite add-on in the game and I've played maybe 3 hours of Twins. I cannot imagine the jump scares I've given people with that thing lmao

Myers main here: The blond hair is definitely worse than the tacky earings. I did a bunch of games to test it using averages. You are better off running no add-on than blond hair. The downside is just too great compared to the upside. Tacky earings, though terrible, give a tiny benefit
Pyramidhead has 2 'OK" addons. you can run 0 addons for 100 games in a row, and then 100 games with any addons you want... you will see/feel no difference, theyre all so bad and useless. The only OK ones are increase the range, which isnt even that great

dont forget the clown addon that changes the colors of the different bottles. you can always tell because the antidote starts out white
I Mostly agree with this list, but I actually disagree with a few:
Shape: the movement speed Add-Ons on Michael are Okay, they can actually help you stalk around certain loops and obstacles more efficiently, and they make you a bit less distance when survivors run away as you stalk them. His worst Add-On EASILY is the Glass Fragment. Is gives a few seconds of aura reading if you stalk but ONLY in Tier 1. If you're playing normally you'll get out of tier 1 early on. If you're playing Shattered Mirror you don't need lingering stalk as you can just tap M2 on command and you're better off running Boyfriends Memo anyways. Glass Fragment has no reason to exist.
Clown: What you aren't considering about robin feather, is that the cooldown lets you switch to M1ing faster, and if occasionally you miss one, you can quickly follow it up with a repositioned bottle. Also in situations where survivors make mistakes shortly after releasing a bottle you can quickly follow it up with an M1. His worst add-on, in my personal opinion, is definitely the fingerless gloves. They throw off muscle memory, and even at their absolute best they kind of just don't help too much.

The Twins are my favourite killers, and I have to disagree with your pick of the sewer sludge. The only use the sludge has is in endgame perk load-outs or as a diet No-One-Escapes-Death simply because it allows Victor to meep survivors hostage at the exit gates for longer. Because it actually has a use, it is not as bad as the cat figurine.
The cat figurine is the worst in my opinion. It is supposed to be a training add on, much like The Nurse’s flannel cloth, but it fails at that due to the target being inaccurate. In addition to actually hindering people trying to learn how to pounce, the target indicator is actually extremely bright. Because Victor has to pounce to attack, Victor frequently has to pounce around corners to stop loops, but the cat figurine flash-bangs the player when trying to pounce around a corner. The add on literally serves no purpose, and directly hinders the player using it, so I think it is the worst due to being a straight downgrade to the power of The Twins.
I actually think that the "Cat Figurine" for twins is worse because it doesn’t actually work and is disorienting at best.
I actually had a Blight utterly destroy me with compound seven.
I was running him at shack and eventually he just bumped into a rock nearby while I was in the middle of shack and got blasted by his lethal rush.
I legit thought he was cheating at first because I know you pretty much can't do more than a 180 on blight, well in end game I kind of laughed at myself because it was compound seven that fucked me over, I simply didn't expect it.
weskers shoulder walkie is his worst just due to how bad it makes his dash in chase

For Killers, Freddy is worst, and Dredge is *arguably* best
For Survivors, Quentin is worst, and Feng is *arguably* best

Licker Tongue does more than the STARS Manual for Nemesis. The STARS Manual is 100% his worst addon.
Sadakos worst addon was without a doubt videotape copy. Before rework it would completely remove the ability to spread condemned via teleports and in exchange you got a very small amount of bloodpoint bonus. Absolutely horrible. The remote is a cracked addon in comparison lol
Okay listen. On its own scrapped tape seems bad, but mix it with interviewer’s tape and it can actually be pretty good

You know what's even more useless than breaking a survivor for 40 seconds? Reducing the aura of emp printers from 32 meters to 24 meters. If you're slipstreamed, you see the auras anyways, and if you aren't you still get to almost always see one printer.
What if that add-on made it so instead of seeing the aura of every printer within 32 meters, survivors saw the aura of each of them outside of 32 meters. They're loud enough and noticable enough without the aura so long as you know roughly where they are

I disagree with Bubba's add-on, I believe he has two worst add-ons now than ever before between Tuning Guide and Depth Gauge Rake as both provide a heavy negative effect over a very slight upside. I argue Depth Gauge is the worst of the two as it gives an extra token, but increases charge time and reduces chainsaw sweep...making it useless to us Bubba players. Old file was fine for setting up an early chainsaw rush as they couldn't tell how close we were with Monitor

Devs probably don’t mind anymore, because demo doesn’t sell anymore due the license removal, it’s not gonna give the investment of reworking his addons back.

Overall I think the killer instinct effect is terrible, and its so bizarre to me that they keep making so many damn add-ons for it that add such miniscule amount. Or why they are so afraid to make good add-ons, anyway, nemesis for example
