It worked thank you so much!! I am sold on PC gaming!! You can play basically any video game on a PC and can use other consoles controllers as well!! Edit: I'm now having problems with getting the controller configured with N64. When I go into configure the controller in N64, it just doesn't register any of the commands from the controller. I tested out my controller and everything as well. Managed to get it working again. I had to adjust the touchpad in DS4 settings, and set it to controller, which then let you assign keys for swipe up/down/left/right, which then let me input these for N64.

The plugins don't work... The buildin pugin "Project64 input plugin" can't detect my controller. It says my bound device is the keyboard and i can't even change that. NRage doesn't work too; i can set all the buttons up and it should be ready to go but i can't start the game by pressing "Start". I don't think it's a problem from DS4 because i used already multiple times before for games on PC. When i start the game it does recognize that a controller is plugged in, but i can't press anything. I'm sry for the long message but i don't know any forums and also found nothing on already existing conversations. I had this same issue intermittently with an older version of DS4W. Are you using the most current version? I haven’t been using P64 for any gameplay recently, so perhaps something changed since the video was released

I noticed that your DS4 Windows immediately recognized that you had a Wireless Controller connected to your PC. That's unfortunately not the case for me. Would anyone know how I would solve this issue?
I have had that before. Try restarting the PC if you haven’t already and try again. Otherwise remove the controller and its driver and start again from scratch. This has resolved my issue in the past
I have used Vjoy before for the joy Cons but have never attempted the GameCube controller. Not sure how this would work, but DS4Windows won’t be the application for that controller, that’s all I can say for sure
Make sure the emulator you are using has third party controller capabilities. If it does, ensure you are using a compatible profile (ie: the DualShock or Xbox360 profiles may not be compatible with some emulators)
The download link appears to have changed since I originally posted this video. May have to go an alternate route to download DS4WINDOWS for the time being
this isn't working at all man I installed the .net stuff and followed all the instructions on git hub and it keeps telling me that I need to install .net drivers I even went to go redownload the drives and it asked if I wanted to fix it so I thought that was it and still nothing. I have spent two days trying to get my joycons to work and finally said fuck it ps controllers are way easer but I guess i was wrong.
Check the drivers you have downloaded for the controller. If they need updates or are not installed, they won’t be recognized. Just google “how to update usb controller drivers” to find out how to do this

OMG i literally fixed it by myself xD i just changed from xBox360 to DualShock4 xD whyever this makes sense. :D

Everything was fine until I clicked DS4Windows file and it would just tell me the .NET message. Not working.
After a bunch of clicking around I finally got it to work!

it says it here do i want profiles to be saved do i pick program files or appdata
I would save it wherever the rest of the DS4Windows data is. For me, I believe that was program files.

I doubt it since this is intended for use with Dualshock and DualSense controllers only. I am not sure though
