This is really cool. One thing to know is that the electric motors don’t really run backwards for regenerative braking, but by letting the wheels drive the motor it causes the magnets’ fields in the motor to move through the coils, generating electricity. I’m not an engineer, but that’s my understanding from watching a lot of TH-cam.

Hell they even built an off-road variant Huracan called the Sterrato! A freakin' dirt road pounding Evo rally car with knobby tires and 3 more inches of ground clearance! I love it!! Enzo's ghost is probably hanging around Bologna now, watching them build the Performante Spyder...

Not to mention the 458's V8 still holds the record for highest specific output of any naturally aspirated engine, ever. Also, their current V12's make over 800 N/a horsepower. No one else has matched that yet, at least until the Aston Valkyrie comes out

To be honest, the F430, 458, 488, and the speciale versions are really nice. But the SF90, is just really ugly, not so much its front but its back which is because they are trying for once not to use circle taillights
The Speciale, the tdf, the LaFerrari and so on in maybe 20-25 years if not before that will produce the same thought you have now, one day we all look back and see these cars as classics from a more connected time between man and machine. It's always the same story

I think i have a correction on the regenerative braking, the motor didn't go backward, the still move forward if you brake, it's just the current flow that usually move from battery to motor to power the motor.... the current is the one that move from motor to charge the battery

As a Ferrarista my opinion is that this kind of innovation isn't all that matters in a car. A Ferrari isn't only a powerful machine, it's history, beauty and elegance, that's why a Ferrari is a Ferrari and no Koenigsegg, no SSC can even have the same spirit La Rossa has.
Plug-in hybrid=good performance for a short time. After draining the batteries you end up with a heavy car with the mpg of a semi truck. I've owned 3 pluggies so far, but the best fuel economy was from a purely gasoline powered Seat...
This is what i had planned to do to a 96 cadillac fleetwood limousine when i bought it in 2015, but i just loved driving it. Never got around to adding in a motor on the diff, and then 2 smaller(10kw) motors on the front wheels, and a 12kwh battery pack under the middle row of seats and in the trunk Why a limo instead of a van? have you seen how open the engine bay is of a 96 cadillac fleetwood? Also the huge roof, hood, and trunk are prime realestate for solar cells, i estimate an average of 9kwh/day, which might not sound like much, but that should cover half my daily commute. Even longer if i only go 30-45MPH

This is what i had planned to do to a 96 cadillac fleetwood limousine when i bought it in 2015, but i just loved driving it. Never got around to adding in a motor on the diff, and then 2 smaller(10kw) motors on the front wheels, and a 12kwh battery pack under the middle row of seats and in the trunk
Why a limo instead of a van? have you seen how open the engine bay is of a 96 cadillac fleetwood? Also the huge roof, hood, and trunk are prime realestate for solar cells, i estimate an average of 9kwh/day, which might not sound like much, but that should cover half my daily commute. Even longer if i only go 30-45MPH
