Hey Colleen! Here are some ideas I thought of for the Ducky Bath Birthday Party🐥:
Snacks🧁:
-Deviled Eggs (decorated as ducks)
-Take a Duck cookie cutter and cut fruit, sandwiches, rice krispies, or other snacks
-Blue Jello cups with whipped cream (in cups, or in little plastic bathtubs!)
-Cupcakes with blue frosting and little duck candies
-Pringles (duck bill)
-Peeps chicks
-Cheese and quackers
Decorations/Activities🎉:
-Kiddie pool with duck floaties and other toys
-Blue streamers with light blue and white balloons on them (bubbles)
-Inflatable duck pool toy
-Bubbles
-Bouncy house with blue and white balloons
-Confetti eggs
-Duckie Scavenger Hunt
Also you should totally dress up Gus and Daisy as little duckies🐥 (& Moose too😆)

For decorations, you could get different colours of blue streamers, twist them together to look like waves, and serve up the food on lily pad-themed things- you could also make 'duck food' like a different take on puppy chow... There are so many other things you can do with the theme that would be awesome! Play pond-themed corn in the hole making the throwing bags look like frogs and paint lily pads around the holes, pin the tail on the duck, get magnetic fishing poles and fish for frogs and ducks...

As a Psychology student, words of affirmation really does help in a child's development. I'm glad Flynn receives them on a daily basis because it helps builds his confidence. For the party, how about face painting rubber ducks as an activity and a rubber duck scavenger hunt as one of the games that would be fun. That’s why we love you, Colleen! I follow so many influencers who go so over the top for the kids birthdays, and while I don’t judge them for doing so, your over-the-top is so much more relatable. Your themed days/parties/whatever are amazing each and every time and something ANYBODY can do. You inspire the average person to understand that they can throw an epic party without hiring all the peeps!
Shes the only "family vlogger" worth watching, she doesn't use her children for money, the children usually are only shown for half the video and beside their names I have never seen her talk about medical issues etc for financial gain. Shes down to earth and doesnt try to flaunt the money she has. Its refreshing.

@@gracegnamoa just because she uses her kids in her thumbnails does NOT mean she does it for financial gain wtf😂 you can clearly tell that she is a genuine person and so down to earth and has said many times that she uses her vlog channel for memories of the babies and never wants to make her channel JUST about the kids. She may talk about them all the time but its because its literally her life/job as a mom. There is definitely a difference between her demeanor in her videos in comparison to other “family” vloggers. I can respect your opposed opinions but I definitely think you’re looking at it in the wrong way😬

I'd love to see Colleen make the duck cake from the Australian 'Woman's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book' 😂 It's an iconic cookbook from the 80s here in Australia and it's so well known that the duck cake was even in an episode of Bluey! Nothing beats a home-made birthday cake 🥰

It would be cool to do some sort of duck race at the party- incorporates Maisy's love of ducks and how Wes likes to turn objects into cars AND has a water element to it if you race the duks on moving water
Love that you do the parties yourself. No shade to folks that choose to hire, but you’re so creative it feels so you to come up with the themes, do the crafts and make the fun food. As a Mom of grown daughters, what you need is a paid “helper” who will be on site the day of to help with the thousand of details you have already thought out, help pass out cupcakes, clean up spills, take pictures and be available to do all the other things that happen. That way you can breath a little easier and enjoy the event. Best decision I ever made.

Definitely use Pinterest for the rubber ducky party ideas! It’s my go to for literally anything creative and especially for party theming. I searched “rubber ducky snacks” and a ton of cute things came up - lemonade with cute straws, deviled eggs with little duck faces on yellow center, ducky rice crispy treats that looked pretty easy, and decoration wise, clear balloons of different sizes to look like bubbles! SO CUTE LY QUEEN!!😘❤️

Hi Colleen! I think the rubber ducky/water themed party is adorable and I have a few ideas for some snacks and drinks you could serve! You could make devilled eggs but instead call them “Duckie eggs” and put little faces on them! You could also serve little glasses of blue kool aid or any other blue drink with whipped cream and little rubber duckies on top as decorations to look like ducks in a bath! I found these ideas on Pinterest so if you search “rubber ducky party” a ton of ideas will come up lol! Love you! ❤️❤️

Love the birthday theme! Just from one person who was like I can totally handle a balloon arch to another either don’t do it or hire someone 😂 ideas for the party - a big giant ducky for the pool to float around, a baby pool with ducks that have numbers on the bottom for prizes, water balloon toss, one of those squishy water mats for the babies to lay on. Obviously fun different rubber duckies all over the place! Can’t wait to see what you come up with 🥰

You could make a messy tuff tray with blue coloured yoghurt as the water, crushed cereal as the sand and then add the rubber ducks floating in the water. That way your house won’t get all wet and it’s completely edible if the babies put in their mouths 🙌🏻 also just carnival games such as hook a duck or you could Bob for ducks for the bigger kids. Sensory bags are also great, add water to a bag you can seal with duck cut outs in it and tape it to the floor ☺️

I know a lot of people who have fans struggle with their privacy and safety getting violated on a regular basis, but I’ve always admired how careful you are about what you show because you’re so thoughtful when trying to keep you and your family safe. However some people can’t comprehend how inappropriate and violating it is to show up at a stranger’s house, so I was wondering if you ever experienced that even though you’re always so careful.
PS I’m so glad you guys had so much fun on your trip! You two more than deserved a relaxing vacation together 💜

You perfectly explained what cleaning is like for me and if I don't have the energy to do the whole process I feel like I can't even start and it makes me so sad and stressed. But hearing you describe it and proceed to successfully clean what you set out to clean was really helpful if not in the act of cleaning then 100% in my attitude towards it.

Ahh I love DECORATING for parties! Hang lots of sparkling blue streamers from doorways and the ceiling. Hang up clear balloons with fish or rubber duckies suspended in them with confetti inside. You just tie fishing line to the fish/duck, shove it into the balloon and then blow it up and tie the line into the knot. It will look super cute hanging down... kinda like a bubble or fish bowl effect. Maybe get a bubble machine to add to the under water effect.
I love that you have your Christmas decorations in your wine closet, I have a pretty wine rack and it houses my rolling pin collection!
I sincerely hope that Maisy and Wesley's 1st birthday party will be as successful as Flynn's-may they get the same epic Happy Birthday sung to them by the greats, including Koko (if he is able to find duck sneakers like he found pink poodle sneakers for Flynn, major props to him!), Aunt Jojo, Mantie Frankie, Uncle Joey, Gunkle Daniel, Uncle Christopher and the rest of the Ballinger and Stocklin family, etcetera! So thank you Colleen. 💞 And I can totally relate to when my physical living environment and my brain are both a hot mess express, it is time to clean my house because I can’t always fix my brain! And you should wait until after Halloween and then get your haircut. Shorter hair is so much less maintenance… but bangs is a legit time commitment. I think you should cut your hair to shoulder length and add layers and bangs. That way you can still put your hair up when you don’t feel like doing anything to it.
