Okay, I’m seriously crying at how much love your family put into making a Halloween for Flynn. You worked so hard to make his costume dreams come true, and to see you all create an entire trick or treat neighborhood so that he didn’t miss out is just so incredible. You are such a hard working mom, and you can see how much he loves you by how happy he is. I can honestly only hope to be as good of a mom as you one day. Seriously my heart is so full.

I can't be the only one who's had a very rough traumatizing childhood and feels warm and fuzzy watching Colleen's vlogs right? it makes me so happy to see those kids being raised and growing up in such a loving, welcoming, non judgemental, especially free and safe environment! they'll be very happy adults one day! so happy for them, their happiness makes me happy and gives me hope in humanity

Flynn just wordlessly grabbing the bowl of candy from Colleen and then dumping the whole thing in his Trick Or Treat bag was suuuuuuuuuch a mood like HE WAS ON A MISSION. And it was really adorable.

Heck ya we absolutely organized our candy after trick or treating! You’ve definitely gotta count up your stash, and we also traded with siblings/cousins/friends in hopes of snagging more of your favorites and getting rid of some less desirables. Big important step of trick or treating is the candy sorting afterwards! We also used pillow cases instead of Halloween themed buckets/bags, because pillow cases can hold more candy 😏.

I'm usually a silent supporter but this vlog just made me want to say what amazing parents Eric and Colleen are, i feel like they're raising the happiest, most awesome kiddos who are so lucky to have the coolest parents that are making sure they have the most wonderful childhood memories! I don't know if there are kids in my future but if so this is definitely the parent I would aspire to be!
I swear I could watch a 3 hour long vlog, they are so heartwarming and entretaining!

You need to set a boundary w/ Flynn. It’s not his birthday, it’s his siblings birthday. Just because you feel bad because he’s not going to be able to open gifts? He has his own birthday and Christmas coming up where he will be able to open his own presents. You’re setting him up to expect at least one present when it’s someone else’s birthday. You need to teach him that other people have their own special day, it’s not always about him.
Colleen, you and Eric are amazing parents. You know your littles better than anyone. You didn't push them to walk around when they felt sick and you made Flynn's Halloween extra special by still making sure he could trick-or-treat. You two are awesome. Happy Birthday Wesley and Maisy!! One last thing, Moose with the wings is so stinkin' adorable. Love you all so much. Thank you for allowing us to join you for the ride.
i trust colleen to make the best decisions for her little family….but letting the twins get into her makeup makes me nervous, only cuz that benefit bronzer is good stuff and i’m just picturing them breaking it. being a makeup person, it just gave me some anxiety lol
I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am that you posted this blog today! I actually kept looking for it like a lunatic all day! I'm a lot like you when it comes to seeing beautiful things or things that are so meaningful, I will cry oceans and rivers of emotions and that's what happened while watching Flynn be so happy and elated to go to every door to say trick or treat and get his candy and gifts. Happy birthday to the twins! Please lighten up on yourself because you're doing the best that you can and you're a great mother and person! I've been watching you specifically for over 10 years now and to see you grow and expand your family and all the things that you've been through is absolutely amazing! So I just continue to thank you for sharing so much of your life and I just pray for you and the family to continue to be happy and staying blessed.

I loved that you posted separate pictures of the two of them on Instagram with their birthday balloons. My triplet sisters and I were born on our father's birthday, so every year it was like Christmas because of there being four of us celebrating. But every year there was one cake that said, "Happy Birthday Janet, JoAnne, Jean and Dad". I didn't get a birthday cake with just MY name on it until I turned 19 and had my first job. I was so thrilled, which is funny to me now. Happy Birthday to Maisy and Wesley. They have the best mom ever! 😘 Much love from Jean

This. This is the only thing that I disagree with when it comes to their parenting. I just hope when it's Flynn's birthday the twins will get a gift too. Or if they got a him a gift but didn't wrap it. That way he gets a toy but its not a birthday gift.

Happy birthday beautiful babies! I applaud you for being a responsible adult and celebrating Halloween and their birthday party later. Too many people get selfish and do what they want without a care for the next person. One of the reasons COVID spread was due to people knowing they were sick and went out among others. You did the right thing for your children and everyone else and I’m proud of you!!

Happy birthday Maisy and Wesley!!!! I can’t believe it has been a year already, I will never forget watching your pregnancy vlogs white trying to convince ourselves! I am pretty sure their birthdays are in the same day I got my positive pregnancy test, I struggled with my pregnancy due to sickness and just being generally exhausted!!! But knowing you went through similar and then having your gorgeous babies made me feel so much more positive. My baby girl is now 3 and a half months 💗

The best part about it was the organizing and trading! My youngest had her bestie sleepover after trick or treating and it was sooo nostalgic listening to them bargain and trade. My girl has hers now all organized in ziploc baggies 😂
