That is a cursed combo, especially if you have Drain life, spearmaster and and strength

@@usermann_5731 I tested it out and I'd say ricochet spears kinda suck here, since more than half the time they don't return to you- (then again I didn't stack Still my turn, does this help the odds of the spears coming back?)

@@NekoEchoflower I'm not sure what exactly stacking Still my turn does, but I had same issue with spears not returning to me when I had 1 stack. Getting additional stack seems to help

"Still my turn" with basically any card that buffs your spears is extremely strong. You can have homing spears that hit multiple targets, that feed you and return to you after a hit...

I played it as spearmaster. And while I didn't get to stack life drain and stronger cards, I got vulture wings, split spears and homing. And let me tell you, that made spearmaster into a mini king vulture. That was so fun. Also played riv with it (the doom express mission) and got the butter feet card. Yeah. I could barely control myself, since the card grants 1.5 speed boost and you are slippery.

I got to do drain life + stronger with my first Spearmaster run and it was the best thing ever
...and then I did reduced FOV (not knowing what it did) in Moon's leg, comboed with water world
It was interesting

Side note, this doesn't actually turn the game into a roguelike, if anything it would be a roguelite but I think not even that. It more so turns the game rogue like inspired, since it lacks any perma death mechanics and RNG dungeon mechanics.
It's kinda pedantic but it's an important distinction because I've already seen someone who got the mod who was disappointed it doesn't actually make the game a rogue like.

if you play expedition, it basically is a roguelike apart from randomized layouts
