As soon as I saw the trailer for this mod on youtube I knew I NEEDED to play it. So I gathered my friends and we tried out the mod for the first time live on my twitch. Also shoutout to utopme for gifting subs :D
"RandomBuff is a mod that aims to enrich the gameplay experience by adding some Roguelike mechanics. Players will be able to draw cards at the end of each cycle, which will have an interesting influence on the gameplay and game mechanics. this mod singlehandedly renewed my desire to play rain world. fun fact! if you crash when hibernating, the mod will pick two random cards for you! i learned this the hard way after noticing i had a new "friend" (pursued burden)
edit: it seems they updated it to where you choose the cards when you come back in! no more surprise multipliers lol

My desire to play Rain World was also singlehandedly renewed by this amazing mod. I did Survivor's mission (which was horribly chaotic in the best way), then used that to pick creature radar + homing spears + returning spears + about 4 levels of strength. I killed king vultures in like 3 throws. It was honestly insane

I got an insane build today with electric rocks, there is a buff that gives you movement speed whenever you get shocked
There are a lot of cards, this Mod is GODLIKE
I am suprised developers released the trailer 2 days before they release the mod.

Also this bug can legit make your run unwinnable if you have your music off on cycles 9 - 12 because you need to [REDACTED] to win the run and you need the card to do that
Which dissapears when you turn off music
Also I think it changes if you gotta kill a scary long guy or a silly machine gun guy based on the region
