OMG. I love this video, especially your painting with the found items and the thread. I totally understand not knowing where something will end up as you try stamping with found items. I had that effect when I just wanted to add touches of white on my dark pages. I took the paint tube and touched it to the page. It left the coolest mark on the page, so I just went with it all over the page. It turned out awesome. Some spots looked like clouds and some just tiny irregular circles !
WOW!! You have proven to me dear Luise that true artistry isn't about having all the tools and supplies (although nice), but about seeing the beauty in ordinary things and using them to achieve a gorgeous result!! These pages are astonishingly beautiful and knowing what you used to create them enhances the beauty! Thank you for inspiring me to see potential in everyday objects and having the boldness to experiment with different techniques. I am so excited to see where you are headed with this treasure of a journal. Thank you for sharing your journey!! Blessing from Texas!
I think that sometimes the most creative things come out of minimal things to work with! I get overwhelmed sometimes by having too many options so this is inspiring to me. I love tidbits that I find more often than purchased stamps for mark making etc., they are more interesting and unique, like the ephemera you made on the black paint blobs! I hope things start moving more smoothly at your apartment now, no more unforeseen problems! Have a good week ahead!💕🇨🇦
I bet you haven't had so much fun without having the stress that comes with coming up with more and more ideas for our new tools of the trade! Your journal is just inspirational so thankyou thankyou thankyou! Lots of love and good wishes coming your way. Tfs♥️
Dear Luise, oh dear, dear Luise, the three most stressful things you can do are (according to my mother🤪🤷🏼♀️)1: Move,2: get divorced and 3: have a baby. You are doing all three!!! Divorcing Austria , giving birth to a bouncing baby journal AND moving. Just sending you so much love and support, trust the stamp messages!!! ❤😂
Luise!... I had to pause 34:30 -ish... These projects you're doing with your 'found objects' during the renovations of your new apartment are great.🤩 They are great, not only because you're using crazy, random pieces that you found "here and there" but because, while your best mediums & tools are packed away, you're demonstrating that art can be created with anything and everything a person has at hand... like your "fancy spatula".😉
I am so sorry you had yet another setback in your new apartment. I hope it is taken care of soon. I am loving this journal! I love Barbara's binding process with the fabric and, of course, marvel at your wizardry in taking these found objects and papers and making such a cool journal! ❤❤Can't wait to see the next episode!
Luise I don’t know which one you or Toni gets so excited when something turns out so good. Ooooo hooooo another laugh tonight for me. Ok this is going to be so stinking cool when you’re done. I’m so happy you’re using things you found in the apartment. You’re always thinking out of the box. ❤. Thanks. Hugs Kateri
Black and white are known as tint colours not an official colour. They either lighten or darken colours. Pink and grey could also fall into this catagory.
You say “what do you think of this mess?” My brain says “it’s the very epitome of a big move.” You can’t help having a mess when you move. You will get everything sorted eventually and your art from now will be the perfect reminder of what you went through ❤
What a great idea to journal your move. I wish I had thought to do the same when we had some decorating done at home. Oh well, a lesson to learn for next time. This grungy journal already looks fantastic. Lots of great ideas - thanks for sharing with us.
Wow Luise. When I first started watching I thought what can she do with this stuff. 😂😂 As you got into it I couldn't believe what you began to create. You are truly an inspiration to me to use anything and everything at hand. Thanks for another great video. Val.🐨 💟
Ooooh, I am so inspired by this journal! You have really helped to broaden my idea of what I can include, especially by stamping with items that don't seem like stamps. I also love the "crazy" things you used to make pages. Can't wait to start on my own version of something like this! Very sorry to hear about the water leak in your new apartment. I hope it won't delay your move too much; I know it's rough to be in transition. Sending you best wishes for the move!
You make me laugh, you make my creativity sit up and take notice, you make me wonder how in the world you come up with such fun, fascinating videos, and you inspire admiration just for who you are ❤
Oh no, now a leaky roof 😭 But you're right, at least it was found *before* you moved in and had all your supplies there!! Hopefully things start turning around - the repairs go smoothly and you're able to move in quickly.
Luise I hope everything works out to your liking in your new apartment. It will be so different and kind of sad to not see you in your caravan anymore. I love how this journal is taking shape and how you are making it a 'memory' journal of your move! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I always look forward to your videos. 🌷🤗🌷👍
😂Luise! You are amazingly talented and creative. Your mad, mad brain 🧠 🤯comes up with the Most outside the box ideas!!😊 Enjoyed your 'freak out!' moments during the video. You Crack me up every time. 😊
Hi Luise. I’m so sorry about the leak at your new apartment. I’m also very happy it didn’t happen after you had moved in for sure. Please do you best to have your landlord be certain the leak is fixed because if you move in and it leaks on your beautiful art supplies and projects that would be so sad. I loved your packing tape technique and I’ve also done something similar. You do the same steps but go one step further by taking that tape with the paper stuck on it and placing it in a glass of water to soak for a while. Then when you remove it from the water after it has soaked you can rub with your fingers on the paper side and you are able to completely rub off the dissolving paper so you end up with a piece of tape that’s completely transparent except for the ink that has the printed pattern. Now personally I did this technique using book page and it does take a bit of rubbing but it does work. I’ve read it’s possible with ink jet printed patterns too. If you need another idea to use with your tape you could try it if that sounds fun or google it to see more about the technique. I loved your mark making with the oval piece and nail….brilliant and such an awesome design it made. Thanks so much for the inspiration and I’m loving your series. Take care and happy crafting. 🥰
I am totally fascinated with this journal. There are so many ideas that I can use for my next journal. I have a collection of weird stuff that I think might be useful. Thank you for such an upbeat and fun video.
It's so nice that you have a project to work on while you have nothing pressing while waiting for repairs on your new apartment (that's a joke). I love how your journal is coming together and wish I had seen this 4 years ago when we built our house. I picked up all sorts of stuff from the construction site with the idea of making a large collage (this was before I discovered junk journaling) but couldn't get it to work and threw all the stuff away. ( much to my husband's relief!) Cheers Meg
I’m so sorry about the leak in your apartment. Hope they get things fixed soon so you can continue your move. Your journals are a unique way of representing your move. Very imaginative use of the materials you found!
So a long time ago my sister taught me the tape trick that you did but so make it more translucent we soaked it in water for a bit then rubbed some of the paper off from the back. It worked well. The print stayed on the tape.
Fabulous and just goes to show that you don’t need all the fancy products to achieve a really cool look. I can’t wait to see what else you come up with. ❤
It’s very inspiring to see you trusting your journey, especially that huge changes are coming for you in the near future. I felt after you thankfully got past the block that Sasha unknowingly helped you overcome, that things would change for you. All the best 🤍🤍🤍 1:01:29

If you put the tape in water for a minute or so and gently rub off the paper the tape will keep the print but be transparent 😍

You’ve done a great job showing us how to make art from actual junk. Makes for a fun junk journal.
You are awesome! This journal is so special for you. I can't imagine what your craftroom is going to look like. ❤❤❤

I haven't been on social media so I'm not up to date with your big news! Wow! All the best to you and Gary for the move back to Germany!
Love this project. Pure creativity without any fancy supplies.♥♥♥

Hello today Wonder Woman. Will you give us an apartment tour when you’re moved in? Love this video.
Yes of course I will do that!
Love it
Did your hubby move too? 😊k
No... 😢
❤❤
Hat es in Deinen Wohnwagen geregnet?😮 Spürt er, dass seine Zeit mit Dir abgelaufen ist?😮❤
Da regnet es normalerweise nur rein, wenn die Fenster offen sind und der Regen schief ist
😮✊️
I love hearing about the process and the thinking and how you plan or Barbara plans thank you for sharing
