Plumbers don't have the power to put you in cuffs, drag you off the streets and lock you up in a small room and then avoid prosecution for false imprisonment and assault because they "made a mistake" - hardly a fair comparison.

There was a period when the pigs seemed to have gotten the message to ignore the drones and auditors, but the last two or three videos I’ve watched it appears that they’re going rogue.
it's not about ignorance, it's about control. They know the laws regarding drones and have been trained to deal with auditors, this for them is on the job practical experience. They are testing you out to see how far they can push you before you cave in or stay solid. This is the whole point of asking for id, nobody wants to give their id but if you voluntarily give id you are going to be weak in every other aspect of their questioning.
I've been looking for the best response to the "I pay tax too" argument. There's the where do you get the money to pay the tax, but that goes over their head. I'd like to see the "So how do you pay your own wages?" used. That's a bit more direct, needs less thinking, but will still stump them completely. PS Check out Auditing Britain's latest.

i can't figure out why a police car came into the station on blues and twos then turned them off on approach to the gates, i suspect he wasn't responding to an emergency at all but was really getting through traffic quicker. i remember a story a few months ago about a police car driving quite a few miles on blues and twos and it turned out the policeman was late for an appt at his sons school. i strongly suspect this car was abusing his emergency lights.
