British police used to be highly sophisticated, polished and were to protect and serve. But now a days British police is trained to lie, make up things, non sense arguments with members of public, infringing rights, intimidating, threatening, detaining and arresting members of public. I think now a days members of public know more laws than British police.
To me neither of them are trained to the degree of 10 year olds since all my children know more about the law and this countries constitution (original and not rewritten which has no standing} than the police or security guards. When we see this happening in our country that 800,000 fought and died for in WWII alone I make sure that I educate my children in the law and the constitution of this country in the event that somebody tries to prosecute them unlawfully. There are thousands of unlawful prosecutions every day in this country because people do not now the law and the jury do not know that they have a two part responsibility in their duty. First they have the duty to find innocent or guilty but before tehy do that they have to decide if the legislation the person is in the dock for is reasonable or lawful. The constitution gives the jury the morale duty to ascertain whether they should be in court at all even if they have committed the so called offence they have been charged with. People also do not realise that they have the right to be tried by a group of their peers and that magistrates have no right to issue any judgement or punishment without a trial by jury - this is hidden from the people and unless we address this now it will only get worse.
Why do all G4S security staff think that government buildings have some special status that makes it illegal to photograph them? In most cases, the fact that it is a government building with parts that are open to the public means there are fewer restrictions.

All the DWP and their HIRED security can do, is refuse you entry into the building if you do not have an appointment, or a valid reason for entry. As they too have a responsibility, and an obligation to protect the data that they hold under GDPR. That is especially relevant for anybody that approaches with a camera, and appears to be recording, or taking still images. But THEIR Jurisdiction ends at the door, or boundary of the building. Also, if instructed to do so, security staff can physically block a person's entry into the building, but they are not allowed to touch you, unless you become a physical threat. By the same measure, if a person attempts to push security staff out of their way, or barge through security staff in order to gain entry, then that can be classed as assault on the security staff.

It was a G4S security guard, working illegally as he didn't have his SIA licence on display, who assaulted me by shoving me towards the door when I said that I had spoken with a DWP employee that morning and he had no right to my private medical information (Covid status). Obviously the CCTV footage disappeared.
