    Finally got around to stitching this together. I've literally had this footage for a year 😆 What do you guys think? I really love the way this looks on the silver.

      Nice work. Dont forget to wax the top too... just so it beads like the rest of the car with a layer of wax, otherwise looks nice!

    You did a great job of making a vid for a DIYer. Actually better than the “ Pros”.

    Looks great! You might have just inspired me to wrap my own car instead of taking it to the shop

      Do it, nothing better than doing something yourself and reaping the rewards.

    Great info for my intended antenna swap to black. Over here in Australia you can order a black genuine antenna for about AUD$120 and you video will help with my installation. On the wrap, I have always been concerned with the impact on the paint after 4 or 5 years but the look is great.

      I really thought I would be able to wrap the antenna so I didn't bother getting a cover. That antenna is not easy to wrap. I will leave my wrap on one more year and then remove it. In a place with extreme heat I might do even less if the car is in the sun all the time. Thanks for commenting.

    great work for your first time. I am looking at doing the roof on my 2018 civic hatch but leaving the fin on. trying to watch as many videos to get tips etc. before I start.

    Looks really good. Black mirror caps and badges next? That will look even better.

    Nice video man. I'm planning to wrap my roof in a couple weeks. Just waiting for winter to be over and the outside temperature to come up a little more.

    Looks good with the silver. Not sure if I’d like it with my Blue Lapis Pearl color

      TBH I wouldn't do it if I had a dark car. LIght colored cars is where it's at for this to get the most bang out of your buck.

    Looks dope! Was wondering if you still had the cvt cooler on the car? Im about to install the same setup with the thermostat on my sj forester xt. Wondering if it held up and is performing well for you still? Thanks!

    How is the ascent? I'm thinking of getting the 2022 onyx edition but I'm skeptical due to their issues. Do you know if subaru has fixed these transmission issues?

    I just did mine with 3m gloss black and one time in the rain it has already waterspotted and I can’t get the spots out. I tried some chemical guys vinyl cleaner and no luck. What do you use to keep yours clean?

    • @akqjtn
      @akqjtn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, haven't had that issue with hard water spots. I'd have to dig into removing that from vinyl.

    It CAN be done without removing the antennae... Just sayin. Great video and nice work otherwise!
