Yes, that goes for anything. A tune will help most of these modifications use their full potential. However, these 7 modifications are items you can install without a tune needed for the car to run properly and smoothly.
I think he means mods that can go without a tune WITHOUT hurting the engine. A tmic won't get gains without a tune but it also won't blow up the engine if you run it without a tune.
Honorable mention is the ETS Intake as it is one of the few intakes ive seen that dont require a new tune on top of that adding a bpv allows for a really nice sound from your turbo
I don’t care what anyone says - if you are changing the airflow in anyway, and an intake will do that, you should get a tune. Probably wouldn’t recommend an aftermarket tmic without a tune either.

How would getting an upgraded TMIC not need a tune if it has more flow design and volume compared to the stock TMIC? Front mount piping is completely changed compared to top mount. Tmic is in the same location with the same piping. It just holds more air. It doesn’t change the flow of the system. You can run stock bpv on any setup. There is no need to really upgrade it over stock unless you are pushing way more power. And even so, the stock bpv has been known to hold over 400hp just fine.
You dont technically need a tune for a front mount. Even though the piping is different it doesn’t change the amount of air going into it. The only reason you would WANT a tune is to actually see the gain from having a front mount because it keeps the temps lower but you don’t need a tune because it isn’t changing the amount of air it’s getting

I’m in disbelief. The top mount doesn’t require a time??? Now everything else you said about it being stock location and all that I get it. Your engine bay look sick man
Radar detector does work 😂😂😂
Nice car man very clean. Who makes that head unit that you have ?
Idoing. There is a link to it in the description under "car stuff"
Oh damn you have everything listed. Cool. How’s it work any problems? I put something similar in my friends Cadillac. Was a nice system and good price but some stuff wasn’t designed well on it. Blue tooth problems and whatnot. This was 3 or 4 years ago though.
It has been trouble free. Couldn’t recommend it enough 👍🏻
Why can’t you even do a hybrid BOV on a WRX? I’ve seen mixed articles on it everywhere.
I’m in disbelief. The top mount doesn’t require a time??? Now everything else you said about it being stock location and all that I get it. But my only thing that makes me skeptical is that the aftermarket top mounts have higher capacity meaning more volume of air. That change in volume doesn’t need a tune???
Haha KA is alwaysssss a cop I have noticed in mine. Gotta be a good boy haha
