Overtime doing some suspension work and going for FBO and lito tuned. A stroked out, cammed 3v with some high flowing heads and screaming to 7500rpm just sounds like more fun than any coyote build and just want it to be a fun pro-touring circuit toy.
Good job man. I like seeing people do things different and not just listen to everyone else when they tell you it isn't "worth it" whatever that means. I mean 3v can be had significantly cheaper than even gen 1 coyotes so it's all relative. Not sure why these people can't understand this lol. You should throw an m122 blower on it with the department of boost gt450 manifold. Then you could upgrade to a gen3r if you build your motor. I think a gen3r equipped built motor 3v would be cool with cams and headers. 700+ rwhp. I have one on my 07 gt500 and I'm around 750 wheel with stock exhaust manifolds and a twin69 tbody. As you can see at the end of the video you are correct. I lost 14lbs of torque in the low to mid range but I made more horsepower in the top end and it allows me to rev out to 7k. I also have 4.10 gears now so I easily made up for the loss of torque. And tbh that loss of torque wasn’t even noticeable, I wouldn’t have been able to tell if it weren’t for the dyno lol
@@masonmaldonado5318 I’d say unless you plan on doing nitrous or a centrifugal supercharger like a Paxton, Vortech, or ProCharger, stick to the stock intake manifold. I rev out to about 7k rpm which this manifold allows me to do. The stock one was around 6500rpm. But the stock manifold with all other bolt ons, cams, and 4.10’s would be a very great setup too.

I ended up spending more on suspension after I crashed cuz I rebuilt all of the suspension so everything minus the sway bars and rear upper control arm are brand new.
The 3V sounds great so can’t hate that! Only issue is when you go FBO they just don’t compare to a FBO coyote. My 13 GT puts down 430 wheel so unless you boost a 3V, it just can’t keep up. Not a fan of nitrous so when I say boost, I mean supercharger or turbo. Get a watts link

Do you think my adapter is causing me a few hp? It’s got Detroit rocker cams and lt headers and frpp manifold with the gt500 throttle body and it put down 335 to the wheels
I wouldn’t be surprised. A 62mm throttle body with no spacer would help the most. But it would probably only be 5-10whp and it might be negligible on the street or track
