Everything you say is true about fasting. I'm have 150 lbs I need to lose. I used to be 120 lbs, now I'm 270. Too fat. This morning I have coffee with pasture milk for my supplements and medicine like Xarelto and Atorvastatin. I find myself eating food too late at night. I will start writing a journal. I know why I shouldn't eat at night, it's emotionally. I can stop it with drink coffee ☕️ or tea 🍵 when watching a movie. Something warm calms me down. I realized I feel hungry at 10AM for breakfast. So I eat cream of wheat or eggs or an orange or an nectarine or blueberries or greek yogurt. Good stuff.
Dr Mindy pelz has great information on fasting too. Apple cider vinegar helps cut the hunger Just like a shot with some water added with water as a chaser. Really helps

For me, it was only the 5/19 window that worked. I lost 27 kg in a year. The fatty liver disease I had for decades completely reversed. I did not lose weight in the 8/16 window.

I maintain a 5-hour eating window and what is most important, I stopped being afraid of the feeling of hunger, this is the most important thing in losing weight. I went to the grocery store today after watching several of your videos these past couple of days. I got the broccoli sprouts, the fresh collards, fresh Brussels. I had a hard boiled egg tonight with a splash of soy sauce and YES that tastes amazing. In 64 years, best hard boiled egg ever. Green tea with a splash of almond milk very satisfying. I’m on Wt watchrs 5 months but hit a plateau after 25 pounds. Going to do this for the last 25 and then try and be a Movie Star 🌟 😇 but seriously I am looking forward. I appreciate this doctor’s attention to detail. I do mini trampoline aerobics every day about 30 to 90 minutes. Big improvements overall.

I can't lose weight on a 12 fast. I have to do 18/6 3 days with a 20 hr fast once or twice a week. It also makes me feel better. You do eat a lot of food if you try to have everything he recommends.

I have done intermittent fasting from 20:00 to 12:00 for 2 years but I ate a lot after, so I did not loose any weight but I have not gained weight either. I eat everything-carbs, process food, sugar….and I donot exercise. I gained significant weight from 20 to 40 as I gain 1 kg every year. To me hard to not eating processed food & fast food as hard to find healthy food around……

I work nights so my last meal when im home is 3pm after I workout then im up for work at 1130pm then I don't eat my 1st meal until 4am then a snack of nut's and pumpkin seeds at 815am then eat another meal again at 3pm

My protein got too low , too. I got very thin but my immune system suffered. Now I will supplement with walnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc, when fasting long hours. I have also started eating more two to three days a week, shortening my fasting hours.
Very few people are so metabolically unstable as to require a doctor clearance for one day of fasting. Humans have endured far longer periods of fasting with little repercussion. Even 2 days is probably safe for the majority of people. These kinds of suggestions just encourage reticence and reluctance to commit for people on the fence. So many are searching for excuses. Bad call to provide such a good one that totally tanks the likelihood of successful body recompisition/ weight management.

Eat enough protein and do resistance training to gain lean muscle mass. Intermittent fasting isn’t the same as cutting calories, because you can still eat the same amount of calories with time-restricted eating. Intermittent fasting just means you’re eating within a certain window, but doesn’t mean you’re cutting calories, as long as you don’t only give yourself a too short of an eating window.
In my opinion the thing that makes a canned food good or bad is how heavily processed it is. If it's recognizable as a whole single ingredient food, it's probably fine.
Is having a cup or two of coffee with unsweetened almond milk, no added sugar, in the morning considered breaking your fast, even if you eat no solid foods until noon?

Take up surface swimming. In a pool OR ocean swimming. Complete exersise without wearing out joints like running does

No, in my family and.many other cultures. Are bad maners if you clean your plate. Are bad maners if you serve a lot of food, etc.
Not only India but many parts of the world people are malnourished even more but that doesn’t mean you stuff yourself.

Yeah cause protein and fat takes longer to break down so keeps you full for longer than carbs.

I did the 16/8 and OMAD and it’s impossible to get enough protein in. I think the best way is giving yourself a 9-10 hours of eating window.

Canned tuna, salmon, chicken I don’t think these are bad. I use canned tomato sauce and canned beans like black, navy, kidney,and chick peas

Hard to follow advice from some who doesn’t prioritize building muscle and the intake of animal protein
I stopped eating animal protein 3 yrs. ago and I do have all those muscles I need. I am 66 yrs. young and feeling just great...Anyway, it's everybodies own choice... Greetings from Germany.

There are periods when nothing stops me. Then another one comes and I get weak .Why why? A little encouragement would be nice.🤏🫠❤
If that happens then do a longer fast with a long walk or any exercise during your fasting window but don’t bash yourself, that’s what I do.
