One thing to keep in mind is that you are putting on the jackets outside where it is cold. Down filled jackets do not give heat, it maintains the body warmth that you transfer to the jacket. Great video nonetheless
It dont look cold to me brotha! Looks like shorts n tee shirt weather. No jackets 'give'heat they insulate and prevent heat loss, which in turn keeps you warmer. :) ran outside from many a party in -40C without a jacket to the car with the jacket.. u put the jacket on my friend refracted heat multiplies quickly.
Putting it on outside shouldn’t matter. It’s a coat. Eventually it should warm you up oppose to maintaining the temperature you were when you got in it as you said. You also said it may not “give” heat however it is suppose to bring some type of warmth not maintain your cold body temperature. I am sure that he definitely felt his body temperature change while being outside putting on these coats enough to know which is warmer because a coat isn’t suppose to “maintain the same temperature” it’s suppose to “protect” and give off warmth
Nice analogy, but the moose isn’t the warmest, those Canadian goose are warm, I’ve personally worn them since HighSchool, I’ve also had the north face, himalaya which was crazy warm. I’ve currently owned 3 snow mantras in different colors as well. When you throughly go through Canada gooses different styles and temperament rated variations, there’s no comparison. Don’t get me wrong, moose is dope, without question, but Canada goose goes deep into proper extreme attic wear. 💯

Only the expedition parka or snow mantra are very warm.how i know this? I wear these jackets will driving moped at 40 mph.Thats how you see if they really keep out the cold.but the quality of cg sucks completely.After 3 years the zipper literally falls off,and after 30 minutes in rain you are full of wet spots underneath the jacket.
Great video. For me, in Scotland, it would be the Moncler because we don't get as cold as you guys do. The others will be better for when it's cold, snowing, or even just a bit wet. Moncler really doesn't like rain! But I've other coats for when it does rain, but when its cold and dry I opt for my Maya. Moncler have other coats which would probably be even better for the sub-zero (in C, not F) cold, and better protected from rain too. But they're really getting expensive now...

@@gplexing2526 We just don't get temperatures cold enough for Canadian Goose at all. I've seen their coats, tried them on to see how they feel, but there's only on time in the last 30 years that I can think of that such a coat would be handy in Scotland, where it was -20C at night, -10 during the day. That's how rare the right conditions are for that coat! And since it wasn't snowing, nor windy, the Moncler would have been fine if I had one back then.
Is just got the MK Forestville and what you said about considering what to wear with MK Jackets is SPOT ON. I realized when I got home that it is a jacket I am no way going to be able to rock a lot of my casual street gear with. That being said, not a con at all and I'm actually happy it contrasts from others in that way. Such a unique simple style that's hard to explain.

Moncler jackets are not made for everyday use. They will fall apart before your eyes. Mooseknuckles jackets are heavier duty, keep you warmer and are also more durable.
Exactly! I mentioned in the video moncler is here and there even MK is not really everyday unless you wanna burn up. CG is just right for everyday use it’s simple practical and you won’t be overheated.

I have both the Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles. The problem with Moose Knuckles is that it’s too hot and too firm, even for places like public transportations, to a point where it’s simply uncomfortable to wear. And it’s heavy too. Canada Goose trade away some of that warmth for a much much better daily comfort level. I would pick Canada Goose over Moose Knuckles, as it is a lot more comfortable to wear on a daily basis. I would wear Moose Knuckles only a on few extremely cold days every once awhile.

Currently own the CG Carson in admiral blue, had this for 4 years and for me is super warm super stylish and ticks the boxes, I think if you got your size you’ll like it more. Looking to buy the Moncler cluny next.

I also bought a Moose Knuckles stag and to be honest they run tight. I’m 5’7, 180 and a got a medium size but they run a bit tight, specially around your chest, making my movement a bit uncomfortable. I exchanged it for L and it fit better but ran a bit long, however, I will layer up a bit and should be ok. Now, I am with you: MK quality feels really heavy duty (zipper, fabric & buttons), and feels worth the money, and to me, they are warmer than the Canada Goose. I don’t have a Moncler, but thanks for speaking of its warmth level.

I got my Moncler from my friend in 2014 and didn’t know much about it then . Now i do . Anyway I don’t wear them that much , I because it’s too good for me ,”staring at it all the time.” ! I've had CG, MK, and Arc'teryx. -MK is the warmest for sure and best looking imo. Perfect as a single layer. -The quality of Arc'teryx is on a different level, everything about them feels perfect. They are designed to be layered. -CG is pretty good in every way but nothing stands out too much. Jack of all trades.

Can’t lie that review was on point bro. Funnily enough I was thinking the same about going with the timbs boots with the moose. The Canada goose black parka is nice and great for warmth and is cosy but the hood makes you feel like your at the end of a cave lol. Moncler for warmth is ok but defo more of a stylish look. Moose knuckles is a good fit, warm and stylish so yeah not a bad choice.

You should get an infrared thermometer on the jackets once you've worn them, cause its really about how good the jackets can insulate and retain your body warmth not about how hot or cold the jacket is when you wear it for the first time outside, that's gonna do nothing

My go to jacket is Patagonia Jackson. I am not into sneakers, Just own a pair of NB/asics, AE and Timberlands. Would love to buy a pair of Carmina in the future.

I got all 3 for personal use Moncler - not water proof just paying for the “style” Not really warm Canada goose - good Quality but colour starts to fade but very warm and will last ! Moose knuckles - my personal favourite, fur trim is amazing and warm , better material than the other 2 with lots of zip pockets - Hope this helps

I have all three as well. My Canada goose is too large at a size medium. I am 5 9 185 pounds. My moncler which like yours was the most expensive is not warm enough in freezing weather (at 1800 dollars it should be 😑), and my 3Q Moose Knuckle is the warmest for sure. And the best fit.

The NFC scan for the Moncler is by far one of the best features for high quality clothing seeing as the amount of fakes in the market especially here in London you see a lot of fake Goose's and Monclers and it's just tacky. Least with the Moncler anyway tries saying it's fake, ai bet scan it 🤷🏻♂️. Anyway very good review, went in depth and gave good detail. Always wanted a moncler jacket but it doesn't get that cold in the south where I am so I brought the moncler puffer vest purple and I matched it up with some purple valabassa jeans and purple prada American cup sneakers. Every moncler puffer vest that I get I'm going to match them with the same color prada American cup sneakers.

I got a Mackage Jonas and a Moncler Micy. Mackage is a strong upcomer and worthy of competing against legends like Moncler. The warmest I have though is a skiing puffer from Aztech Mountain.

I was thinking about getting one of those but then settled for a Black Massif North Face jacket with 700 cuin Down. I hear if you take care of it a North Face can easily last 10 years, i got it for a little over 300 bucks, so for one Moncler i can buy 4 North Face, not sure if one Moncler can outlast 4 NF, not that i think with the loud shiny look they do, i'd even want to wear it in 10 or 15 years so weighing it all in, i think Moncler is overpriced like mad. You just pay for the tag. Canada Goose is supposed be good and really warm but i thought NorthFace was more stylish. Also one thing with these super expensive coats, i'd be scared to wear them to a club or concert where i have to hand them over in a public checkroom haha

I mean i was close to spending a crazy amount on one of those designer coats as well but then just weighed in and thought at the end of the day, i'm just paying for the status and label. Nothing wrong with it, if you got a spare 1300 somewhere and don't want to go on holiday with it haha but not for me just yet. Also one thing about Moncler i found out before i made my choice, they might be a french/italian designer brand but it is actually made in Romania, where people get paid mininum wage and are starving. Nothing Made in Italy like you would get from other designer brands so tbh they probably cost max. 50 dollars to make and sell them for +1300, it's just too much about status. Moncler always reminds me of the packaging bags full of air. Canada Goose quality will easily last a decade. Moose Knuckles will be frayed after a year or two if worn like a Canada Goose. Lots of bad reviews up in Canada around their customer service response. I like the MK style, but the reviews turned me off and the customer service of Canada Goose has been excellent.

I got 2 monclers and a Canada goose whyndham they are both really good brands however the moncler uses material which are easy to catch on anything like in this video however they are quite warm it’s more of a stylish coat aswell as a status symbol rather than keeping you warm. A Canada goose on the other hand does Keep you warm however ain’t for the rain I remember my old one got drenched in the rain numerous times and went and changed colour smh saying that I’d say a moose knuckles for quality is the best even though I don’t have it it’s got more down than a goose aswell as being practical

Exactly it’s not your everyday streetwear coat it’s more mafia boss type of vibe. Off top of my head Nike dunks could pass. I can’t see me wearing sweats if so maybe a special brand. It gives you a challenge but I love it for that reason. 3 totally different feels.

My friend, excellent review!! Question- I live in South Carolina and my sister and her family now live in Colorado. My family will make annual trips to Colorado every year for at least the next ten years. If you were only going to buy one coat and want to wear it one for only one week m a year every year for the next ten years which would you recommend. It won’t be worn often so it should maintain itself well and honestly won’t be word very hard… I’m not planning to be stranded in the wilderness so it’s not that big of a deal… which would you suggest?

Moose knuckles get hot sometimes it’s not needed. too much attention. moncler falls flat less warm than the 3 and too much attention & Canada goose fits just right you typically blend right in. if you need to layer up a hoodie will be all you needed if that. you’ll get your money worth & will compliment whatever you wear. casual. 😎
Nice review man. This video randomly popped up for me, literally just received my Stirling parka black with black fur, without a doubt the best garment of clothing I’ve ever purchased 💯. Makes this Scottish winter enjoyable 👍. Look at parajumper jackets that’s about the only other one I’ve felt that compares in quality. Rains jacket are making moves over here too. The mackage jackets I looked at was all loosing fur. The pyrenex jackets felt good quality but was still loosing down inside, literally the moose and parajumper is the best quality from all I’ve looked at. The Canada goose I couldn’t go with now as far too many fakes about, every second crack head in Scotland is walking about with fake gooses 🙈.

Tried a shit ton of those and frankly speaking? The warmest jacket I've ever worn is a Dsquared2 down puffer.. It's so warm I didn't need to layer it under - 22 Celcious
Feathered friend rock and ice parka, and also try on the Patagonia grade 7, but if you want get the mountain hardware absolute zero and the 96 retro northface Himalaya just a few to mention.
I got a dark blue Canada Goose parka, which I like a lot. It's definitely warm, and I'd say it's best from -5 to -30 C. I want to buy a Moncler next cus I like the puffy, shiny look. It's also a bit lighter so I will have something better to wear when it's between 4 to -6 C. I think I'll go for the tricolor one.

It would be ideal if i could find a used coat somewhere but the one I want seems to be somewhat rare and maybe discontinued. I think it's called the Moncler Galion lightweight jacket and it's mostly midnight blue with a white and red stripe on the front.

I got the moose knuckles in black with grey fur hood. The coat is solid. Got my son a moose knuckles, my other son a Canada goose, my wife a Mackage, my daughter a Canada goose. Live in Canada. Moose Knuckles is the best. I have a Canada Goose Oil rigger full suit. Moose Knuckes is still warmer.

I know I'm commenting on an 11 month old video but you had the receipt for the Canada Goose, you could've exchanged it for a size medium, no? It's just that if I'm paying that much for a jacket, i have to be 100% satisfied with my purchase. I don't want any regrets or second thoughts down the road with regards to the size, color, style, etc.
hey man how’s it going, i love this question! okay so i bought this coat in 2018 at this time canada goose wasn’t as accessible as it was today. neiman marcus had a small rack of CG coats i took this color way bc it was different and i never seen anybody with it. just being young & dumb i bought it regardless of how it fit. yes i was a little funny with it but now that i’m a yr older (this video was made months before it dropped) i think it was a smart move. i am 18 pounds heavier and i like the mature look on it. not everything make sense when it happens but it will later on.

Thanks bro 🙏🏾 Yeah The Goose is pretty plain but it gets the job done. Camo does go with anything really so that helps plus it’s warm. Moncler is strictly for fashion it’s not a secret it’s not big on weather but it’s fairly warm.

vezere is a really nice jacket. i suggest maire, it’s warm stylish & very different from maya & ecrins the shiny effect is all preference i guess it’s all about how you look at it. but i’m not mad at vezere at all though.
i agree as far as moncler it has the most longevity. CG is flooded everywhere but certain outfits you can’t go wrong with. moose on fire along with mackage. i respect your opinion bro.
Cool video bro, I agree with your review. As a Canadian - I can say that all three brands are extremely popular here. I think for fashion, Moncler is probably the best. However, most of the Moncler for men are shorter jackets rather than a coat. So for me, it gets cold like my legs and shit. Moose Knuckle and Goose is about the same in terms of style and texture, but Goose has better coats like the Banff, which is one of my favorites. But the Moncler I got is pretty thick one like a big bomber jacket almost North Face like so it keeps me warm just not my legs. But for me it looks better. I personally wouldn't get Moose Knuckle cause if you are dropping that much $ on a winter jacket, you might as well go with Canada Goose since is more recognized. By the way, I really like the red color but as an Asian guy it doesn't look as good on me since my skin is more like beige / tanned color, but red looked absolutely amazing on you. Only difference is CG is made in wpg canada, and MK is made in Vietnam or something. But its owned and designed by canadians.. like to support local but most CG seem generic in style, even though well made. A north face is half the price of a goose and they are made very well. Their puffers anyway

The shell of the clothing and zippers and stuff are from China, but the feathers and dawn are real Canadian goose feathers and dawn. Yeah don’t buy shit made in VN, their quality is garbage it’s like 1990 China quality but in 2022. Just look at the Nike clothing, like they rip so much easier than before and the wool quality is so bad you get so much of those lent balls on the joggers.

MKs build quality is just as good as CG. Just no canadian jobs. Vietnam makes quality textiles for the top corporations. If anything China has a range from ultra poor quality for export to 1:1 knock offs for themselves. Their cotton is picked by slave labor, uyghurs so it's kinda unethical to buy slave cotton in 2022. It's all QC quality control. No QC shady factory, shit garment

When the sleeves are halfway up your forearm the jackets way too small for you. Moncler is not meant to be slim fit, it's designed so you can have layers underneath. If you think the jacket looks like a trash bag if it correctly fits you, you've wasted your time and money. Size 2 is for people that are less than 5"8 tall and weigh 120 or less. Go look at the Moncler fit guide if you think I'm wrong, put in your measurements and see what it says. Peace brother.

Great video & comparison fam! I live in Canada and the city I'm in (Winnipeg) gets really f*cking cold. I've had the Canada Goose Chateau Parka for 8 years (still 8.5/10 condition), but decided to copp the Stirling parka this year (Black with Natural Fox Fur aka white fur). I gotta say, I prefer the Moose Knuckles Stirling Parka, hands down. It's so much warmer too! Both brands are great imo!

Canada Goose used to be good but now they’re overpriced trash, they increase the price by 100$ every year but they put a little bit less down every year, back in like 2015 CG jackets were like $600 & they had more down than they do in 2021 that costs $1100+ Moncler isn’t waterproof so once water gets on it, the shiny finish will be ruined and the down will be soaked which will make the jacket not even warm anymore Moose Knuckles is the way to go

I have a moose knuckle, it's almost perfect, only that if it's windy, my face is not hidden well behind the hood, which Canada Goose would do a better job. I think it's a trade off, like you say, the hood of the goose is too loose while not wearing it.

Nice video g. I live in Norway so having a couple CG jackets is mandatory. Its the best investment I did for the winter! One thing I noticed when I wear my expedition parka is that even tho I can wear it with only a t shirt under in -15 degrees celcius its such a significant jacket it will never be as slim looking like that stirling. Don’t Get me wrong the expedition look Nice it got that outdoor tactical look to it but MK designs are growing on me, especially the stirling! Even a constable and a lightweight black label which are more slim and more “city friendly” , and as you say they can be worn everyday but that MK piece phresh as hell😂 Since it snows like crazy here I can’t get away wearing sneakers if I don’t wanna slip or be cold as hell so styling the stirling with some timbs would be mandatory you get me

Woolrich Arctic Parka would be more than enough and does the same job as the Canada Goose Arctic. I also have some 200€-Tommy Hilfiger Downjackets that are warmer than some 1000€ designer winter jackets Many brands are charging astronomical prices just because of the name but not the quality or function. Anyway good video i think the MK looks at best on you👍

I’ve owned several versions of Canada Goose and Moncler. Never considered Moose Knuckles. The Moncler Cluny should have been in that collection. As far as warmth and style the Cluny would have taken the lead.
I understand I respect that. Cluny is a very nice coat but when you think of moncler the puffer is the most requested that’s the point of this video. If I did cluny ppl would’ve said what about the ecrins.
One thing to keep in mind is that you are putting on the jackets outside where it is cold. Down filled jackets do not give heat, it maintains the body warmth that you transfer to the jacket. Great video nonetheless

It dont look cold to me brotha! Looks like shorts n tee shirt weather. No jackets 'give'heat they insulate and prevent heat loss, which in turn keeps you warmer. :) ran outside from many a party in -40C without a jacket to the car with the jacket.. u put the jacket on my friend refracted heat multiplies quickly.
Putting it on outside shouldn’t matter. It’s a coat. Eventually it should warm you up oppose to maintaining the temperature you were when you got in it as you said. You also said it may not “give” heat however it is suppose to bring some type of warmth not maintain your cold body temperature. I am sure that he definitely felt his body temperature change while being outside putting on these coats enough to know which is warmer because a coat isn’t suppose to “maintain the same temperature” it’s suppose to “protect” and give off warmth
I think the 3 coats compliment each other tho like the moncler is stylish, the moose is the warmest and the cg is the most practical

Nice analogy, but the moose isn’t the warmest, those Canadian goose are warm, I’ve personally worn them since HighSchool, I’ve also had the north face, himalaya which was crazy warm. I’ve currently owned 3 snow mantras in different colors as well. When you throughly go through Canada gooses different styles and temperament rated variations, there’s no comparison. Don’t get me wrong, moose is dope, without question, but Canada goose goes deep into proper extreme attic wear. 💯

Only the expedition parka or snow mantra are very warm.how i know this? I wear these jackets will driving moped at 40 mph.Thats how you see if they really keep out the cold.but the quality of cg sucks completely.After 3 years the zipper literally falls off,and after 30 minutes in rain you are full of wet spots underneath the jacket.

Great video. For me, in Scotland, it would be the Moncler because we don't get as cold as you guys do. The others will be better for when it's cold, snowing, or even just a bit wet. Moncler really doesn't like rain! But I've other coats for when it does rain, but when its cold and dry I opt for my Maya. Moncler have other coats which would probably be even better for the sub-zero (in C, not F) cold, and better protected from rain too. But they're really getting expensive now...

@@gplexing2526 We just don't get temperatures cold enough for Canadian Goose at all. I've seen their coats, tried them on to see how they feel, but there's only on time in the last 30 years that I can think of that such a coat would be handy in Scotland, where it was -20C at night, -10 during the day. That's how rare the right conditions are for that coat!
And since it wasn't snowing, nor windy, the Moncler would have been fine if I had one back then.
Is just got the MK Forestville and what you said about considering what to wear with MK Jackets is SPOT ON. I realized when I got home that it is a jacket I am no way going to be able to rock a lot of my casual street gear with. That being said, not a con at all and I'm actually happy it contrasts from others in that way. Such a unique simple style that's hard to explain.
Same bro I swear I did some digging to pull a outfit off it’s not that easy lol. One thing I like about CGoose is that it’s so practical it can be a bum fit or dress up. MK on the other hand is straight class business vibes, but that’s what make us love it even more.
I agree goose to us where they make the goose look kind of.. tacky. Every person doing well wore one 5 yrs ago. They had that goose 'black' line that did more stylish bombers etc. I preferred those. Much more 'g' cuz its wasnt just another goose
Moncler jackets are not made for everyday use. They will fall apart before your eyes. Mooseknuckles jackets are heavier duty, keep you warmer and are also more durable.
Exactly! I mentioned in the video moncler is here and there even MK is not really everyday unless you wanna burn up. CG is just right for everyday use it’s simple practical and you won’t be overheated.
My Monclers all hold up very well, goose too but too warm for me more time, will try a moose knuckles soon

I've had my Moncler Montcla downs jacket for 3 years and it looks as good as new. Been wearing it daily for at least 6 months out of the year.

I have both the Canada Goose and Moose Knuckles. The problem with Moose Knuckles is that it’s too hot and too firm, even for places like public transportations, to a point where it’s simply uncomfortable to wear. And it’s heavy too.
Canada Goose trade away some of that warmth for a much much better daily comfort level. I would pick Canada Goose over Moose Knuckles, as it is a lot more comfortable to wear on a daily basis. I would wear Moose Knuckles only a on few extremely cold days every once awhile.

I also bought a Moose Knuckles stag and to be honest they run tight. I’m 5’7, 180 and a got a medium size but they run a bit tight, specially around your chest, making my movement a bit uncomfortable. I exchanged it for L and it fit better but ran a bit long, however, I will layer up a bit and should be ok.
Now, I am with you: MK quality feels really heavy duty (zipper, fabric & buttons), and feels worth the money, and to me, they are warmer than the Canada Goose. I don’t have a Moncler, but thanks for speaking of its warmth level.

-MK is the warmest for sure and best looking imo. Perfect as a single layer.
-The quality of Arc'teryx is on a different level, everything about them feels perfect. They are designed to be layered.

Can’t lie that review was on point bro. Funnily enough I was thinking the same about going with the timbs boots with the moose. The Canada goose black parka is nice and great for warmth and is cosy but the hood makes you feel like your at the end of a cave lol. Moncler for warmth is ok but defo more of a stylish look. Moose knuckles is a good fit, warm and stylish so yeah not a bad choice.

You should get an infrared thermometer on the jackets once you've worn them, cause its really about how good the jackets can insulate and retain your body warmth not about how hot or cold the jacket is when you wear it for the first time outside, that's gonna do nothing

My go to jacket is Patagonia Jackson. I am not into sneakers, Just own a pair of NB/asics, AE and Timberlands. Would love to buy a pair of Carmina in the future.

I have all three as well. My Canada goose is too large at a size medium. I am 5 9 185 pounds. My moncler which like yours was the most expensive is not warm enough in freezing weather (at 1800 dollars it should be 😑), and my 3Q Moose Knuckle is the warmest for sure. And the best fit.

The NFC scan for the Moncler is by far one of the best features for high quality clothing seeing as the amount of fakes in the market especially here in London you see a lot of fake Goose's and Monclers and it's just tacky.
Least with the Moncler anyway tries saying it's fake, ai bet scan it 🤷🏻♂️.

Always wanted a moncler jacket but it doesn't get that cold in the south where I am so I brought the moncler puffer vest purple and I matched it up with some purple valabassa jeans and purple prada American cup sneakers. Every moncler puffer vest that I get I'm going to match them with the same color prada American cup sneakers.

I got a Mackage Jonas and a Moncler Micy. Mackage is a strong upcomer and worthy of competing against legends like Moncler. The warmest I have though is a skiing puffer from Aztech Mountain.

No cap , The Moncler is for people who not in the cold for a lot of hours , like for people who jumpin in & out they cars that ain’t tryna feel all bulky in the driver seat & have to take off they coat & when you indoors you can keep the moncler on unlike the others thats crazy hot & heavy & throwing on a hoodie under the moncler makes more sense. & For people who tryna have a slim fit stylish coat , It’s more style than anything with the moncler & it’s easy to throw on with a lot more different clothes

I was thinking about getting one of those but then settled for a Black Massif North Face jacket with 700 cuin Down. I hear if you take care of it a North Face can easily last 10 years, i got it for a little over 300 bucks, so for one Moncler i can buy 4 North Face, not sure if one Moncler can outlast 4 NF, not that i think with the loud shiny look they do, i'd even want to wear it in 10 or 15 years so weighing it all in, i think Moncler is overpriced like mad. You just pay for the tag.
Canada Goose is supposed be good and really warm but i thought NorthFace was more stylish.
Also one thing with these super expensive coats, i'd be scared to wear them to a club or concert where i have to hand them over in a public checkroom haha

I mean i was close to spending a crazy amount on one of those designer coats as well but then just weighed in and thought at the end of the day, i'm just paying for the status and label. Nothing wrong with it, if you got a spare 1300 somewhere and don't want to go on holiday with it haha but not for me just yet. Also one thing about Moncler i found out before i made my choice, they might be a french/italian designer brand but it is actually made in Romania, where people get paid mininum wage and are starving. Nothing Made in Italy like you would get from other designer brands so tbh they probably cost max. 50 dollars to make and sell them for +1300, it's just too much about status.

Moncler always reminds me of the packaging bags full of air. Canada Goose quality will easily last a decade. Moose Knuckles will be frayed after a year or two if worn like a Canada Goose. Lots of bad reviews up in Canada around their customer service response. I like the MK style, but the reviews turned me off and the customer service of Canada Goose has been excellent.

I got 2 monclers and a Canada goose whyndham they are both really good brands however the moncler uses material which are easy to catch on anything like in this video however they are quite warm it’s more of a stylish coat aswell as a status symbol rather than keeping you warm. A Canada goose on the other hand does Keep you warm however ain’t for the rain I remember my old one got drenched in the rain numerous times and went and changed colour smh saying that I’d say a moose knuckles for quality is the best even though I don’t have it it’s got more down than a goose aswell as being practical

Exactly it’s not your everyday streetwear coat it’s more mafia boss type of vibe. Off top of my head Nike dunks could pass. I can’t see me wearing sweats if so maybe a special brand. It gives you a challenge but I love it for that reason. 3 totally different feels.

My friend, excellent review!! Question- I live in South Carolina and my sister and her family now live in Colorado. My family will make annual trips to Colorado every year for at least the next ten years. If you were only going to buy one coat and want to wear it one for only one week m a year every year for the next ten years which would you recommend. It won’t be worn often so it should maintain itself well and honestly won’t be word very hard… I’m not planning to be stranded in the wilderness so it’s not that big of a deal… which would you suggest?
thank you so much! appreciate it. that’s a pretty hard one. i would personally go with mackage coat instead of these 3. more comfort more warmth possibly less expensive same quality. but out of these 3 to solve your question i would go with canada goose. Moose knuckles get hot sometimes it’s not needed. too much attention. moncler falls flat less warm than the 3 and too much attention & Canada goose fits just right you typically blend right in. if you need to layer up a hoodie will be all you needed if that. you’ll get your money worth & will compliment whatever you wear. casual. 😎
Nice review man. This video randomly popped up for me, literally just received my Stirling parka black with black fur, without a doubt the best garment of clothing I’ve ever purchased 💯. Makes this Scottish winter enjoyable 👍. Look at parajumper jackets that’s about the only other one I’ve felt that compares in quality. Rains jacket are making moves over here too. The mackage jackets I looked at was all loosing fur. The pyrenex jackets felt good quality but was still loosing down inside, literally the moose and parajumper is the best quality from all I’ve looked at. The Canada goose I couldn’t go with now as far too many fakes about, every second crack head in Scotland is walking about with fake gooses 🙈.

I got a dark blue Canada Goose parka, which I like a lot. It's definitely warm, and I'd say it's best from -5 to -30 C. I want to buy a Moncler next cus I like the puffy, shiny look. It's also a bit lighter so I will have something better to wear when it's between 4 to -6 C. I think I'll go for the tricolor one.

@@FreshhCutz I'm 6'3 and 190 pounds so I'll need at least a size XL. I also have a nice wool turtleneck sweater which I think would go well with the coat if it gets a bit too cold. It would be ideal if i could find a used coat somewhere but the one I want seems to be somewhat rare and maybe discontinued. I think it's called the Moncler Galion lightweight jacket and it's mostly midnight blue with a white and red stripe on the front.

I got the moose knuckles in black with grey fur hood. The coat is solid. Got my son a moose knuckles, my other son a Canada goose, my wife a Mackage, my daughter a Canada goose. Live in Canada. Moose Knuckles is the best. I have a Canada Goose Oil rigger full suit. Moose Knuckes is still warmer.

I know I'm commenting on an 11 month old video but you had the receipt for the Canada Goose, you could've exchanged it for a size medium, no? It's just that if I'm paying that much for a jacket, i have to be 100% satisfied with my purchase. I don't want any regrets or second thoughts down the road with regards to the size, color, style, etc.
hey man how’s it going, i love this question! okay so i bought this coat in 2018 at this time canada goose wasn’t as accessible as it was today. neiman marcus had a small rack of CG coats i took this color way bc it was different and i never seen anybody with it. just being young & dumb i bought it regardless of how it fit. yes i was a little funny with it but now that i’m a yr older (this video was made months before it dropped) i think it was a smart move. i am 18 pounds heavier and i like the mature look on it. not everything make sense when it happens but it will later on.

Cool video bro, I agree with your review. As a Canadian - I can say that all three brands are extremely popular here. I think for fashion, Moncler is probably the best. However, most of the Moncler for men are shorter jackets rather than a coat. So for me, it gets cold like my legs and shit. Moose Knuckle and Goose is about the same in terms of style and texture, but Goose has better coats like the Banff, which is one of my favorites. But the Moncler I got is pretty thick one like a big bomber jacket almost North Face like so it keeps me warm just not my legs. But for me it looks better. I personally wouldn't get Moose Knuckle cause if you are dropping that much $ on a winter jacket, you might as well go with Canada Goose since is more recognized. By the way, I really like the red color but as an Asian guy it doesn't look as good on me since my skin is more like beige / tanned color, but red looked absolutely amazing on you. Only difference is CG is made in wpg canada, and MK is made in Vietnam or something. But its owned and designed by canadians.. like to support local but most CG seem generic in style, even though well made. A north face is half the price of a goose and they are made very well. Their puffers anyway

The shell of the clothing and zippers and stuff are from China, but the feathers and dawn are real Canadian goose feathers and dawn. Just look at the Nike clothing, like they rip so much easier than before and the wool quality is so bad you get so much of those lent balls on the joggers.

It's all QC quality control. No QC shady factory, shit garment

When the sleeves are halfway up your forearm the jackets way too small for you.
Moncler is not meant to be slim fit, it's designed so you can have layers underneath.
If you think the jacket looks like a trash bag if it correctly fits you, you've wasted your time and money.
Size 2 is for people that are less than 5"8 tall and weigh 120 or less.
Go look at the Moncler fit guide if you think I'm wrong, put in your measurements and see what it says.

I've had the Canada Goose Chateau Parka for 8 years (still 8.5/10 condition), but decided to copp the Stirling parka this year (Black with Natural Fox Fur aka white fur). I gotta say, I prefer the Moose Knuckles Stirling Parka, hands down. It's so much warmer too! Both brands are great imo!

Canada Goose used to be good but now they’re overpriced trash, they increase the price by 100$ every year but they put a little bit less down every year, back in like 2015 CG jackets were like $600 & they had more down than they do in 2021 that costs $1100+
Moncler isn’t waterproof so once water gets on it, the shiny finish will be ruined and the down will be soaked which will make the jacket not even warm anymore
Moose Knuckles is the way to go

I like the Moose Knuckles. You could do Rick Owens and few other brands that do a fire boot 🥾. I’m thinking the Clear Weather all black boots with it would go crazy.

I have a moose knuckle, it's almost perfect, only that if it's windy, my face is not hidden well behind the hood, which Canada Goose would do a better job. I think it's a trade off, like you say, the hood of the goose is too loose while not wearing it.
exactly june. i wish moose knuckle hood was a little more deep but i like the style of it anyway. CG hood is perfect besides it leaning to the side. but i don’t think it’s that serious to do a trade off honestly. but i get it.
Nice video g. I live in Norway so having a couple CG jackets is mandatory. Its the best investment I did for the winter! One thing I noticed when I wear my expedition parka is that even tho I can wear it with only a t shirt under in -15 degrees celcius its such a significant jacket it will never be as slim looking like that stirling. Don’t Get me wrong the expedition look Nice it got that outdoor tactical look to it but MK designs are growing on me, especially the stirling! Even a constable and a lightweight black label which are more slim and more “city friendly” , and as you say they can be worn everyday but that MK piece phresh as hell😂 Since it snows like crazy here I can’t get away wearing sneakers if I don’t wanna slip or be cold as hell so styling the stirling with some timbs would be mandatory you get me

MK is the way to go One of the best investments this yr. The 3Q also looks good but it’s something about stirling. I hope one day you decide to get one would love to know what color way you went with. Shoutout to Norway 💯
Woolrich Arctic Parka would be more than enough and does the same job as the Canada Goose Arctic.
I also have some 200€-Tommy Hilfiger Downjackets that are warmer than some 1000€ designer winter jackets

In England we have a brand called zavetti Canada which is a cheap version on cg retails for about 100gbp about 170usd

I’ve owned several versions of Canada Goose and Moncler. Never considered Moose Knuckles. The Moncler Cluny should have been in that collection. As far as warmth and style the Cluny would have taken the lead.
I understand I respect that. Cluny is a very nice coat but when you think of moncler the puffer is the most requested that’s the point of this video. If I did cluny ppl would’ve said what about the ecrins.
