I remember buying this game because of the fact that you can redeem the legendaries on a fresh save file and they will be level 5. I then transfered them to gen 6, duped them, and traded them for shinys, legendaries, and mythicals on gts because everyone loves level 5 legendaries for some reason

Lvl 5 legendaries are good to start a new play through with. Normally you can only get them late game and you will already have a full team, so you can’t really have bond with them easily
Small note about the ending: If you take Dream Radar Landorus (cannot bring the other two...No, I don't know why.) to the Abundant Shrine in Black 2 or White 2, you'll get the Reveal Glass. When you use the Reveal Glass on each member of the Weather Trio, you'll get them in their base forms with their hidden abilities. Since there's been no event for them as of Gen 7, this is the only way to get them with their hidden abilities. ...Just in case anyone wants to try this.
Random bit of information but their levels vary depending on how many badges you have in the game you transfer them to. If you have zero badges all Pokemon transferred from Dream Radar will be level 5 so with this you can have 8 level 5 Legendary Pokemon. That is the reason I bought this and got them all.
One slight correction I have to give here: If you transfer over the therian forms to your main copy and then use the key item to turn them back into their incarnate forms, they will have their hidden ability, so the game might still be relevant for that. Because I think there is no other way to get those. At least, that's how I remember it, I might stand corrected here.

@Clay Gensel I'm playing through explorers of time now, so I'll have to do a catch them all towards the end. After over leveling to make it easy of course lol. It didn't matter as a kid because I had a game shark and wonder mail generator
@Clay Gensel The gameplay isnt as good as an adult, I will admit. Sometimes the rng is just trash and you lose because of a trap room or sleep powder hitting everything. But the story is A+, I still cry at the end, and the post game is really big.
I actually played this back in the day when it was released. It was pretty cheap and it was one of the only ways to get pokémon with hidden abilities in dream balls, which I used to collect. Also the legendaries are nice. It's a pretty boring game but I liked it for breeding purposes.
It's pretty much the only way to get hidden ability Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina (altered) without genning the gen 6 event somewhere. I think that also applies to Thundurus, Tornadus, and Landorus. Not sure how useful that is in competitive, but it's kinda cool. They can also be level 5 if you port them to B2W2 at the start of the game, so if you want to do a full legendary run, you totally can.
@@excalibur493 Telepathy is awful competitively, so it doesn't matter for the creation trio. Defiant is also pretty awful because thundurus and tornadous are special based and prankser is a very good ability for set up and t-waving enemies. Sheer Force on Lando-I is god tier though, it the only way to run lando-i outside of sandstorm.

Let me explain: I am trying to get every Pokémon with HA available in Pokémon W2, as it was my first ever Pokémon game and I want to achieve EVERYTHING (except for Dream World Stuff, as DW is not available any more) I bought Dream Radar bc some of those Mons are only available there. And I am grinding for LITERAL YEARS already but I NEVER found Staryu and Smoochum and never knew why. I literally searched ALL the common wikis, I never found anything (except that you need a certain game progression, but I finished the game anyways at that time) This singular Video explained the meaning of the orb colours (by the way, how did you know?). And now I FOUND STARYU AND SMOOCHUM :D I am literally so thankful haha, much love by a grown ass man just wanting to complete some personal achievement ❤
Apparently Pokemon transfered from Dream Radar actually scale in level with the BW2 save they are transferred to. What this means, is that lv 5 Ho-oH, Lugia, and Landrous are legitimately possible to obtain

Something else not mentioned in this video: All Pokemon caught in Dream Radar are automatically leveled based on your game progression in Black 2 and White 2, From level 5 with 0 badges, to level 40 with beating the Elite Four. This includes the legendary Pokemon obtained through this method.
Man, I've had the game since it released and had no idea about the way to get Beldum, Hoothoot, and Slowpoke. Luckily I still have it installed on my original 3ds lol
By the way the pokemon catch in this game are in a special unique to this game dream ball who do have a nice visual effect upon throwing the pokemon in battle.

i love how this "easily forgettable" game were the roots of what would become pokemon go which has become in its own right a phenomenon. Turns out the only thing stopping this game from being great was a better camera and switching from shooting orbs to "catching" actual pokemon.
Dream Radar's a neat little game. I used the Swablu and Riolu I got from it on my first Black 2 team. Also, fun fact, it's a legit way to get lvl 5 versions of the weather trio and the other 5 legendaries available, though for this you need to transfer the pokemon to a game file without any badges. A great way to get some of those pokemon off of the GTS where people are asking for a lvl 1-10 legendary.

Dream Radar's a neat little game. I used the Swablu and Riolu I got from it on my first Black 2 team.
Also, fun fact, it's a legit way to get lvl 5 versions of the weather trio and the other 5 legendaries available, though for this you need to transfer the pokemon to a game file without any badges. A great way to get some of those pokemon off of the GTS where people are asking for a lvl 1-10 legendary.
