    I just found your channel and loved your Guns N’ Roses reactions so far. A few more AMAZING 60’s, 70’s & 80’s artists you should check out are Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Poison, Led Zeppelin, U2, Van Halen, Cinderella, Def Leopard, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Pink Floyd, Twisted Sister, ZZ Top, and my all time favorite, QUEEN!! Freddie Mercury (the lead singer in Queen) is the ultimate legend, rock star!! Ok, ok, I’ll stop now because I could go on forever. 😂
    Hopefully I mentioned at least a few artists that you’re not familiar with that should be on your radar, imo.
    I hardly ever see any of the great “older” rock bands / artists from my era (damn that makes me feel old 😂) on any of the newer reaction channels. Of course, I love a lot of new music too (mostly underground / independent artists though). I’m here for whatever reactions you’re new to. I always love seeing someone react to music for the first time, that I’ve been listening to for years. (As well as new music!) I subbed, and look forward to more reactions, bruh! 🤘🏼
    Btw, another one of my very favorite artists of all time (that a lot of people aren’t familiar with) is Chris Rea. If you want to hear an emotional song, that still applies today, regarding the negative effect that media has on our psyche, you HAVE TO check out “You Must Be Evil”

    Originally, those fans were to keep the performers cooled off and not too sweaty while playing instruments. Then it became a cool stage image for long-haired rock and metal bands to play over.

    Axl Rose is one of the greatest frontmen of all time and GNR was the biggest band in the world...until Nirvana changed everything.

      GN'R were still hugely popular even after grunge hit. In 1993 they had 4 albums in the top 20, their undoing was their own infighting, not grunge so much.

      @@christopherhughes9787 mostly because of Axl's temper and behaviour. He's kinda a huge pain in the ass actually

      Nirvana only killed hair bands, rock still was alive. Axl going apeshit nuts for decades is what derailed GnR

    • @jasonf3128
      @jasonf3128 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Nirvana didn't kill anything. Hair bands were on their way out before Nevermind broke. Gn'R and Jane's Addiction took over LA. Add Metallica in, and people were already going to those bands and others, and leaving the hair band scene. Nirvana and Seattle just put the final nail in the coffin.

    Guns n' Roses is one of the most successful rock bands to ever come out of the 80s LA rock scene, or basically the entire "hair metal" scene period. They were undeniably one of the biggest bands in American history.

    Sweet child o mine slash guitar solo amazing how he can make that guitar sound like that. Instantly if you know your rock music you know its slash from his destinctive sound. Loving these GnR reactions plenty more top tracks left too. These 2 songs that you reacted to were all released in the 80s when i was a young teen yet they are still timeless. Thank you once again for your time and effort it doesnt go unoticed and is much appreciated. Slainte.

    1987 - this was their debut album and they opened for Motley Crue on their "Girls, Girls, Girls" tour initially, by the end of that tour they blew up so big they were headling, selling out arenas, and playing stadium shows like the one in this video dude! I saw them twice that year, and again a few years later just two months before they released "Use Your Illusion I & II" - that was at a horse track in Birmingham, AL with Skid Row as the opening act with an estimated 180,000 people in attendance! Yes...it was absolutely amazing to witness.

    This came out not long after I joined the US Navy. in 1988. Deployed on my ship USS Conyngham (DDG 17) for a 6 month Med cruise, and that whole cruise we blasted this album (Appetite for Destruction), Metallica's And Justice For All, Skid Row, and Queensryche's operation:MINDCRIME (when it released) the whole time. It was the soundtrack of my 18th year, and it was amazing!
