It was during the "Fall" of the "Iron Curtain", marking the end of Communism, the end of the COLD WAR (ending the threat of Nuclear War) and the dismantling of the "Soviet Union".... Russia was JUST "Russia" again. People came from all over the world to celebrate not only the music, but the Russian citizens new found freedom and their ability to OPENLY enjoy "Western" music (esp. Rock music) for the 1st time in MANY years.... It was a FREE concert and 1.6 MILLION people attended. It was a momentous moment in history!! Check it out... "Enter Sandman" Metallica Mosco 1991... You won't regret it!!!
Axl*. Slash was the lead guitarist and still is. Izzy Stradlin was the rhythm guitarist.
Your facial expressions crack me up !! I should have appreciated this band way more when I was growing up !! Now I realize how great they really are !! Yes that’s Slash and Michael Jackson went crazy cause Slash played w him on Beat it live .. Slash is one of the best guitarist ever !!
I'm a fan since 1988.... I ♥️ Guns'n'Roses
Lemme tell ya.. each and every member of GNR are unique AF.. listen to axl rose voice, slash guitar solo, listen to the bass line by mckagan, how steven adler hit the drums, izzy stradins rhydm.. damn.. why so perfect
eddie van halen was in beat it with michael jackson. another gunners song you should listen to is "you could be mine" it was used in the 2nd terminator film
The people........the people.......the people! Coming together for that one major thing in common..... the love of Rock music and high talent performers that knew their business on stage. They had one purpose.....
Blow the people away!
Great reaction!
Slash is amazing. They actually had Axle sing at Chesters memorial
Axle the lead sing went to the school of Juilliard. Most people do not know this.
I think Axl Rose is emulating some of Davy Jones of the band The Monkees in some of his dance steps! Check out Daydream Believer from The Monkees.
I think he got it from him according to what I've read once.
Axl was Bi-Polar. Very bad temper. He would jump in the crowd and fight with someone who pissed him off, but he can sang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Got to see them live in Miami on New Years Eve 1991!
Amazing group.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We did have awesome music. Thanks for taking us back and for the open minded appreciation for simply amazing artists.
I can't stop watching your reaction at 4:20 it reminds me of the first time I ever heard GN'R around age 7/8, played a major part in the trajectory of my life becoming a musician- I'm 24 now! Content like this helps keep the inspiration flowing, many thanks good sir!
I still have them on film from their reunion tour...I was lucky to be a teenager during the’70s cause I got to witness the 80s etc music as well 🖖🏻🇨🇦🥰💥
It's the bass and the drums. The Drums keep the tempo. Everyone else keeps up. The drummer is always the most underrated member of the band. Every musician keys in on the drummer's tempo. I learned that as an assistant roadie. There's so many behind the scenes chaos you wouldn't belive..............js
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bruh!!!! I love dis song ❤️🖤
ITS FIREEEEEEEEEE
Can you share this video for me?
Blitz 😂 my face is as tight as this mans pants 😂😂😭😭😭😭
😂😂😂😂
You do know Slas from dirty Diana. Beat it was with Eddie Van Halen. Fun fact all big hits of Michel Jackson are with a big and wel known rock guitar player.
Can't wait to see them when they tour NZ and OZ this year.
You did an excellent job of analyzing The different instrumentsin the song
I was driving going to get lunch, working with my father Heard this song on the radio and pulled over in disbelief didn’t know who it was until I seen a video on MTV saw what he looked like I was like no way It can’t that guy he sang welcome to the jungle. What a journey It was. I hung out with them at the Axis on Lansdowne St., Boston after seeing them play at the Garden on St. Patrick’s Day. Amazing I’ll never forget.
I listened to Appetite for Destruction just about every day of my junior year in high school. The entire album was amazing!
I got here because of Gun's N Roses, we get old but music never gets old, great channel, thank you for sharing this music with new generations
Guns and Roses 'My Michelle' 1988 The Ritz.
The best thing about *Guns* *N'* *Roses* is that they command your attention.
You hardly *if* *ever* know exactly where any of their songs are going -- because they're already so far ahead.
*they* *make* *you* *chase* *EVERY* *single* *note*
I went to the Faith No More - Metallica - Guns N Roses concert in MN. Axl changed his clothes during EVERY instrumental solo.
