This is a character I know next to nothing about, glad this dropped. Wow now that I’m through the entire video Fitzroy is now one of my favorite characters, what a tragic end.
Fitzroy's sword became my weapon of choice from the moment i found it, and it carried me through the rest of the game. I was always happy to see him present or mentioned in the umbral stigmas or item descriptions.
Great character, I wish he was alive during the game so we could have some interaction with him. Regarding the sword, it's probably closer to sentinels, imo, the guard of it with golden arrows/ sun beams reminds me of Orius symbolics. Thank you for new cool lotf video!
I didnt notice his sword causes blood build up, but on that topic, i have noticed something very interesting about bleed. When you apply an holy aura to your weapon you raise it uo to the sky. When you apply a flame aura to your weapon you plunge it into the ground. Despite being a "holy" spell, when applying bleed you dont raise it to the sky but rather plunge it into the ground the same as you do for flame. This has made me consider if blood is truly of orius or if it stems from adyr and his corruption has made them believe its holy. The myth of orius shedding blood to make the world does heavily contrast against adyr's claim. We also know for certain that the myths and legends of the hallowed sentinels are often egregious falsehood. Adding to that we are made keenly aware by the orius ending that no one, no matter how penitent, is holy enough to be spared and maybe that's because everyone is shedding blood in his name and thats not how its supposed to work.
Wow, I love your lore videos of this game I’ve been slowly trying out again. At first I really wanted to try it with a close friend but had problems on his end pc wise but lately have a cousin I’ll venture into this world with!
Thank you again for a good lord video I’m on my third okay through now and want to collect every item just to read the lord so many places I have questions about
Nice I been wondering something curious when Issac drop the lantern and the exacter found the new owner chosen by it..who is the real cannon class that the Lamb revives because can't be a paladin can't be a pyro cultist hollowed sentinel not fit exile staker nah wardog barbarian please.... Orion preacher...for me was a soldier or a partisan who died defending the Homeland even a sentinel but they put too much faint on the lady so I discard
I've missed his armor completely during my first playtrough. Poor dude with a cool story
I usually rock Fitzroys armor and I love the fact he was a stand up dude stuck between a rock and a hard place. Great character

Appreciate it! Yeah I think it most supports a Sentinel connection. Which is makes Fitzroy's hatred of them all the more tragic
