In the story with the kid on the shelves, I hope that the mom got in trouble with CPS for that stunt. I remember once being that kid, and my mom immediately took the workers' side and told me to stop cause I was going to hurt myself. I think that is a better response to the situation.
@@andreaberryman5354 be careful, though, because good Samaritan laws can vary from state to state. For example, in Alabama it only covers trained rescuers and public education employees unless it's a case of cardiac arrest. I read a article about a Walmart manager calling the cops and lying about a customer in the store with a gun. She said he was threatening and waving the gun all over the store at other customers. She didn't appreciate him having a gun in the store, but he had a permit for open carry for a firearm and was a off duty cop. I quess she forgot Walmart has surveillance cameras up the wazoo since she was arrested for false reporting and calling the cops for a nonemergency. She was later fired from Walmart.
For the axe cane story, I would have added as loudly, 'and youre dman lucky im not pressing charges for attempted theft and false assault charges to try and cover up the attempted tgeft.'
Property lines are there for a reason, a friend's parents house on the outskirts of a small town had a problem with a neighbor. They adjusted the property stakes closer to their house each passing year in the woods by the house until they brought the matter to authorities.
hey! same experience I had with some real shtty neighbors! They kept slowly mowing and trying to cut trees, slowly claiming more of my property for their own inch at a time. I told them they could buy the strip of land if they wanted it, but that I felt a good thick border between our homes was really best. They didnt want to buy. They felt it already belonged to them and told me so. So I planted more trees making clear the border, all the while they screamed obscenities at me for being on their property (and understand that before I bought the property it had been surveyed and clearly marked). I finally stopped paying on the mortgage, took a loss and moved. They would play their music so loud that even with all my doors and windows closed I could hear every word of the songs. I live in a great spot now and all my neighbors are reasonable folks.
@@gryphonennis1002 sounds pretty stressful, good thing you relocated. It's to bad it's not possible for them to be forced to pay more property taxes from them trying to claim the land.
Ikr my kid occasionally thinks it will be cool to climb the shelves in a store, I instantly shut that right down before it goes any further than the bottom shelf and I have no problem in telling my son exactly what can happen if he carries on climbing the shelves...to the point where I just have to ask him "stop doing xyz, if that falls and breaks what can happen?" And he says "I go splat splat." And I say "that's right, do we want a trip to the hospital to mend a broken bone or to remove glass?" He goes "no mummy" and stops climbing. People look on in shock but hey...it works.
The teenager of the second story is lazy because she didn't kneel down and loudly announce "yes, master, anything you want master" the moment Karen walked in.
Many years ago I was on crutches for about a year. Kids came up to me, fascinated by them for some reason (ok, I painted them various colors out of boredom with basic wood crutches) but they always asked politely if they could use them. I usually said yes, and they would crutch around a bit them bring them back. No one ever just grabbed them though. I always amazed me how easy it seemed for them and how hard it was for me, but then I needed them. Maybe people were more polite way back then?
I actually had to use crutches during high school after seriously spraining my ankle in PE. The only people that touched my crutches were my friends who asked first. My younger siblings were the ones that were more likely to run off with them without asking and that only happened at home.
the one about the kid in the wine aisle reminds me of something that happened to me, so I'm a balloon artist and I was working a fair/fundraiser for a school/daycare. As there was a bit of a lull I catch sight of a little kid they couldn't have been more than 3 years old but I thought nothing off about it cus there was a daycare here I'm sure some of the workers here know the kid and are keeping an eye on him but then I see the kid doing something horrifying causing me to act. the kid started playing with an Electrical outlet trying to stick his fingers in it and just generally messing around with it I got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and ran out of my chair and grabbed the kid Just as he was trying to lick it. The kid then starts to cry, understandable I'm a strange adult that just grabbed him a lady who I'm assuming was his mom comes running up 'oh good' i think 'someone who can watch him' NOPE the woman comes up to me screaming "WHY DID YOU GRAB MY CHILD" "I'm sorry ma'am but he was about to lick an Electrical outlet" I quickly reply "SO?" she snaps back "Um he could be electrocuted" I say wanted to ask if she was stupid "I DON'T CARE DON'T TOUCH MY KID" and she walked away So yeah No satisfying ending but something worth sharing

Story 2 reminds me of a few stories where someone saved a person's life, but got charged with some form of assault because said person was injured during the event. It's so absolutely stupid. Glad that didn't happen to the teenager though, and I'm also glad she pressed charges too. It's the only way Karens can learn - they need to be punished for their behavior. And even if the kid was being a brat, I'm glad he wasn't injured.
Kids getting themselves into all sorts of trouble while they're out with their parents was why I kept corralling them back to their folks at my old job. Whenever I saw a kid roaming aimlessly around the store without their parent or was doing something they weren't supposed to, I directed them back. If I had a nickel for every time I got the death glare from their mothers, I would've been able to afford to buy a house a long time ago.
The mother was probably hoping the shelf would've fallen on her kid and some how he got out unharmed so she could try to sue the store so when op saved her kid and foiled her shelf plan she went to plan b sue for assault. Good thing her thought process only goes as far as "duh me right me right u wrong me sue me call police and not have to think anything through"
Many years ago, while waiting in line at the grocery store, the woman in front of me had her toddler sitting in the shopping basket. While she had her attention on the magazines there, the kid climbed and started to fall, head first, to the floor. I grabbed him and set him back in the cart. This got her attention as he squealed in frustration. She gave me the death glare and I got pissed and said "Oh, so you would have been happier if I had just stood there and let him fall on his head?" She gave me another death glare but was wise enough to keep her mouth shut. Some people should never have kids.
I had actually gotten a similar cane for my Dad for Christmas a few years ago, it was made by a company called M48 and is a walking cane, with a glass breaker at the back end of the grip and a warhammer-type head forward grip. Basically, if you're into medieval stuff, it's a 'warhammer cane' and is pretty good for walking the forest trails we have where I live.
I've heard the girl and the kid with the falling shelves story before. I still think the girl should have let the kid get hurt/killed by the shelves because it would be 100% the mother's fault not hers. People need to understand that parents are 100% responsible for their children, not you, so you are under no obligation to help them.
You can’t get mad at somebody for saving someone’s life and you should never ever disrespect a military veteran or his/her property without permission (kids) let alone get mad for telling the kids no (entitled idiots)
I saw a kid doing unsafe things in the store I work at. When I approached them and requested the behavior stop for the safety of the kid, the mother yelled at me and walked off. Her kid was still not being safe.
i love the cane story...the mom would have flipped out if he had one of the canes with a short sword in it. MY cane is actually homemade and was a halloween prop one year. It has a skull head on it that the jaw moves. (his name is Hubert) I get a ton of compliments on it even tho poor Hubert looks the worse for wear since i have had to repair his cracks from being dropped with hot glue. He is actually super heavy since i filled the inside with hot glue also so that it stopped cracking every time it dropped the darn thing. Make a great weapon just in case. Oh my walker/rollater is named SKY (sky walker..ha ) it lights up ...tho i havent figured out how to make foldable xwings on it yet. If i have to use the stupid things i might as well have fun with it.
I think that guy was perfectly entitled to take his stick back. Ok, the kids were just curious but he’s a war vet with PTSD. If someone did that to me, and I don’t even have PTSD, I’d tell them to give it back immediately or else I’m calling security on them for theft.
When Karen's demand I help them at the store, even though I'm retired and have long hair I always wait for a thank you. When they ask why I'm waiting, I say "I just was giving you time to thank me, another customer. If they just ignore me, I loudly say "you're welcome" as I walk away.
It's easy to think that a teenager is being lazy if you don't see them do anything while they're at work, it's likely because they have already done everything they needed to, at least for a few minutes
The cane story. I had multiple reconstructive right knee surgeries. First operation very restrictive ankle to upper thigh brace. Second surgery first a cast (ankle/thigh) followed again by the brace again. Sigh! I needed a cane to make sure I didn’t lose my balance. I was taken by a County Handicapped van to an enclosed Mall which had a medical tower. Saw my surgeon who said cast would be removed next visit.I hobbled to an enclosed exit area for the Mall. I called for a van pick up (I can’t drive) After I semi collapsed on to bench. a nearby Young Mom (YM) asked if I was ok. I assured I was. I then saw her very small baby…under 3 months I think. The YM & I started chatting. She was waiting for her husband to pick her up. I had been holding my cane upright in front of me.Suddenly, an Entitled Kid (EK) tried to grab the cane. I held on. He made light Saber sounds & tried to grab the cane again. When I refused to let go he started caterwauling at full pitch. At this point the Entitled Mother (EM) looked up from her phone. Exasperated, she told me to let EK play with my cane. When I refused her face reddened. She looked at me. I was wearing a old but warm coat, a comfy sweater & sweat pants. (Over my cast). EM Sneered I was an old bum who had come to the Mall to panhandle. That I was faking & EK should be given my cane. Things got much worse in a terrible way. The YM was a Latina. Think a young Selma Hayek. She backed me up saying she had seen me hobble & use the cane to sit down. EM used nasty racist term to demean the YM. She then saw the baby & decided that it was much too light skinned to belong to (insert more racist garbage). She decided to call the police to rescue the kidnapped baby & call ICE to deport YM (more racist terms) Then things did another 180. Without warning 2 police were there. They had had business in the Mall. They then heard the howls from the EM. The EM accused me of stealing her EK’s toy (cane). She accused YM of kidnapping & she should be held & then deported. The policewoman asked me for my side. I thunked my cast & then reveal a bit of it. I noted I needed it to walk. The lady cop turned to YM. She said she had a baby check up in the Medical Tower. Her Doctor could confirm it was her baby. She also talked about the racist things EM had said. The two cops conferred. They then told EM to leave immediately. If she remained things would happen that she might not like. EM was stunned but saw the very stern expressions on the face of the officers. She left muttering dire threats. The two cops asked for our names just in case EM did try to make further troubles. They apologized to us both & then they left. A few minutes later YM’s Anglo husband arrived to take his family home. I told YM she had such a story to tell her husband. She laughed we said goodbye.Very soon after that my Van arrived to take me home. EM & EK~sheesh…

A Canadian in the trades, with their level 1 education in carpentry, I'm surprised the construction company/contractor just went ahead and crossed the property line like that. When I was in school it was really grilled in that you do NOT mess with property lines! It could be different elsewhere but even crossing over a few inches you can be sued or be forced to purchase that section of property for however much it's deemed is worth. Was told about a company by my professor that went bankrupt when they accidentally set the concrete steps for a line of townhomes 6" over the property line into the city's property, which literally cost them millions. Bylaws etc could be different/ more lax where that old couple lived idk
Pretty sure most states have a law that says if you hurt someone saving their life it's not a crime Like if you break a rib giving CRP and stuff like that. Cos injury is nothing compared to being alive
THe 2nd story... any other parent would have been happy with them for saving their kid... not going after them for pushing them... what about her grabbing them?
Actual reply to a wild Karen once upon a time: "Don't you dare tell me how to raise my kids!" "Well, *somebody* should, given the positively lousy job *you're* doing."
That mother in story #2 needs to be charged the cost of all the broken bottles & the shelving repair, because she was told REPEATEDLY to stop her child from climbing them. Since she flat-out refused to stop her child, she is responsible for what she let her child do.
I work in a grocery store, before I switched depts, I worked in the inventory dept, that would move items around and move shelving. You wouldn’t believe how easily those shelves can pop out, I once watched a shelf collapse as a girl was stocking it. She was more pissed off than hurt because she had to redo all her work.
This whole situation with the driveway in the last story seems odd to me as I work with a surveying firm and am often involved in construction planning. My state requires new drives connecting to roadways get a permit from the DoT and that process should include a boundary survey. Guy sounds like he was trying to get an easement off the old couple without compensating them.... (Also a pretty big nono in my state)

A long time ago I went into my retail shift one night to the sight of the entire (60 foot long) canned pet food counter laying on the floor in the aisle with product everywhere. Found out that earlier that day a woman and her 5 year old granddaughter wanted something off the top storage shelf and rather than getting an employee to help them (There was someone in the next aisle in one direction and two aisles over in the other) they both just started climbing. Amazingly, both were unharmed beyond a few minor scratches, but since they were near the center of the aisle and the fallen counter backed up to warehouse steel on the other side it took like four hours to dig them out.
Hey Fluff, if you were in the cane situation (story 3) and lost your cool when she claimed you were threatening/assaulting people with the cane, it would actually be BAD for you since it would inadvertently give plausibility to her claims... especially if you (like the disabled vet) were concealed carrying a firearm, it just instantly escalates the whole situation, even more so in the officers' eyes since it is their job to ensure the safety of everyone involved. As a result, you would end up in cuffs and "detained" until the whole thing is resolved and they evaluate that you ONLY got aggressive when she wrongfully accused you, which could take a while. Where as, keeping his cool allowed him to express himself and things progress quickly and smoothly.
Damn it! You made me spit out a perfectly good swig of Dr Pepper with that cow and getting knocked up business. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!
What pisses me off about these stories is how the Karen in question always lies about "their side of the story" to make themselves look innocent. What audacity they have to LIE about what happened! I'd like to add to my comment by saying that I'm really hoping that the EM get permanently banned from the store for wasting $5,000 worth of damages and expensive wine. Along with getting divorced and her future ex-husband gets custody of her bratty son.
It's always struck me as odd that some people have the belief that you have to act like an adult as a child, yet the older people get the more they act like the children they condescend to.
In the story with the kid on the shelves, I hope that the mom got in trouble with CPS for that stunt. I remember once being that kid, and my mom immediately took the workers' side and told me to stop cause I was going to hurt myself.
I think that is a better response to the situation.
Story 2 is why alot of people are afraid to take up first aid. They don't want legal repercussions for saving a life
There aren't any due to samaritan laws, tG. A family can't sue you because your CPR failed-sometimes it does no good no matter WHO does it.
@@andreaberryman5354 be careful, though, because good Samaritan laws can vary from state to state.
For example, in Alabama it only covers trained rescuers and public education employees unless it's a case of cardiac arrest. (Restrictive as heck) So if they were in Alabama, she wouldn't be covered under it.
Just be aware of the details of the law in your state. Mine, Virginia, covers anyone giving aid. Some states only cover in cases of uncontrolled bleeding or, like Alabama, cardiac arrest. It's screwy and should be uniform across all states, but my opinion ain't worth the air I used to voice it.
@@andreaberryman5354 California Arizona and Texas have dismissed Samaritan law several time for under the presumption of sexual assault from the person who got save. Aka: men save woman, woman just claim she felt sexualy assaulted about it.
@@NixyRose72 I mean, Alabama is basically a toxic shithole, so I'm not surprised by that.
Classic Karen: "How dare you save my son's life, I'll get you fired and arrested for assault! If I want to be a negligent parent, it's my constitutional right!" But seriously, I don't think her two brain cells will ever understand how wrong she was every step of the way.
I like the Hamster wheel analogy. In most of these cases they are sleeping.
Karen, letting your kid play on store shelves and climb on them like it was a jungle gym is child endangerment!
Obviously. If you've ever worked for the public, you understand that people at their children do and establishments like restaurants are grocery stores is staggering. It doesn't take a genius to be a parent. Apparently it does to teach them boundaries that the word no is a complete sentence and a sense of accountability
The people who say “Don’t tell me how to parent my kid!” really need someone to do so.
That WalMart customer had the most epic response to that Karen.
Fluff already told that story bro
For the axe cane story, I would have added as loudly, 'and youre dman lucky im not pressing charges for attempted theft and false assault charges to try and cover up the attempted tgeft.'
I liked his comeback in the parking lot. 😆
@@hummingbird4235also his cane is medical equipment. Stealing medical stuff is an even worse charge...pretty sure its federal..

I really hate it when parents let their crotch goblins climb all over everything in stores as if it were a jungle gym.
"So, Karen, you want someone with atrocious manners like your kids, inheriting and RUNNING the world? Really??"
haha! crotch goblins. I'mma gunna use that.
So you were a crotch goblin?
@@gryphonennis1002 I’ve heard crotch fruit and crotch droppings used as well.
I love that vets parting shot had me dieing with laughter

There have always been a bunch of rotten apples, luckily you didnt stumble upon one back then.
It was different... parents used to discipline their kids.
The kid then starts to cry, understandable I'm a strange adult that just grabbed him a lady who I'm assuming was his mom comes running up 'oh good' i think 'someone who can watch him' NOPE the woman comes up to me screaming "WHY DID YOU GRAB MY CHILD" "I'm sorry ma'am but he was about to lick an Electrical outlet" I quickly reply "SO?" she snaps back "Um he could be electrocuted" I say wanted to ask if she was stupid "I DON'T CARE DON'T TOUCH MY KID" and she walked away So yeah No satisfying ending but something worth sharing
consider it a win for yours conscious
@@JD-mh8be oh I do at I see so much weird and entitled people I could fill a whole book with stories it's rare that I can find some sort of silver lining so I do look back and think at least the kid is alive and I hope he's doing well
If it happens again, call CPS and make a citizens arrest on the EM for child endangerment.
At stories like these I have to seriously mourn for the future of our country....
You should have called her a "HORRIBLE MOTHER WHO WANT HER CHILD TO DIE" after she said I don't care.
The mother was buying wine and letting her child have the run of the place. Mom must be quite the neglectful drunk, I’d say.
I don't know how that veteran could keep himself as cool as he did. Bless him and his kind soul.
I recall there being lawsuits where people get sued for breaking ribs while performing CPR...
“Hmm. Someone’s lying here dying, CPR could help... but do I want to be sued?”
I hear all these bad stories happen at Walmart and I can't help think...."what happens when I'm not there?"
Story 1: She should have been told that she would get her money back for the meal ASAP, and then just leave her there.... >X-D
The mother was probably hoping the shelf would've fallen on her kid and some how he got out unharmed so she could try to sue the store so when op saved her kid and foiled her shelf plan she went to plan b sue for assault. Good thing her thought process only goes as far as "duh me right me right u wrong me sue me call police and not have to think anything through"
Ive seen videos of falling wine shelves. Its horrifying to see especially when theres someone in the way.
That mother is so lucky her child wasnt hurt
Many years ago, while waiting in line at the grocery store, the woman in front of me had her toddler sitting in the shopping basket. While she had her attention on the magazines there, the kid climbed and started to fall, head first, to the floor. I grabbed him and set him back in the cart. This got her attention as he squealed in frustration. She gave me the death glare and I got pissed and said "Oh, so you would have been happier if I had just stood there and let him fall on his head?" She gave me another death glare but was wise enough to keep her mouth shut. Some people should never have kids.
"Never figured out whose mum that was"
Probably for the best. Imagine the poor kid having to deal with that!
Cold Steel still sell these for $40 + S&H.
I've heard the girl and the kid with the falling shelves story before. I still think the girl should have let the kid get hurt/killed by the shelves because it would be 100% the mother's fault not hers. People need to understand that parents are 100% responsible for their children, not you, so you are under no obligation to help them.
The story about the service member. First yeah the cane sounds cool. Secondly the guy didn't say enough I think towards the end.
Aight who owns the Karen Factory? Fess up, or Lord Fluff will come after you and he does not play.

That's called: cue to call CPS for neglect and endangerment...
i love the cane story...the mom would have flipped out if he had one of the canes with a short sword in it.
I love all of this so much
I think that guy was perfectly entitled to take his stick back. Ok, the kids were just curious but he’s a war vet with PTSD. If someone did that to me, and I don’t even have PTSD, I’d tell them to give it back immediately or else I’m calling security on them for theft.
OMG HUBERT IS THE BEST
Ha! Love that line the guys spouted at the woman in the parking lot. Those are my favorite kind of insults in Karen situation stories.
When Karen's demand I help them at the store, even though I'm retired and have long hair I always wait for a thank you. When they ask why I'm waiting, I say "I just was giving you time to thank me, another customer. If they just ignore me, I loudly say "you're welcome" as I walk away.
"She threw an embarassing tantrum". See, that's the thing, Karens aren't embarassed by their behaviour.
I am amazed, that Karen-Victims have so much patience and self-control to not just punch the Karen
12:05 that army veteran is a certified badass
I hate when parents let their kids do as they please, like climbing around in the toilet paper bins. They can get hurt doing that.
She decided to call the police to rescue the kidnapped baby & call ICE to deport YM (more racist terms)
Then things did another 180.

That insult in story 3 made my day
That mom should have had the CPS called on her.
Pretty sure most states have a law that says if you hurt someone saving their life it's not a crime
Like if you break a rib giving CRP and stuff like that. Cos injury is nothing compared to being alive
The axe cane guy is my fucking hero. Served in Iraq, works for schools AND came up with one of the best come backs I've ever heard on the fly
Love, love the one with the vet. I laughed so hard at the end. Great comment at the end!
The Karen in the liquor store was probably upset for not getting to collect insurance money for the shelves not killing her kid.
The ending of the 3rd story almost made me spit out my drink “let alone get him hard enough to knock you up”😂😂😂😂
THe 2nd story... any other parent would have been happy with them for saving their kid... not going after them for pushing them... what about her grabbing them?
Actual reply to a wild Karen once upon a time:
"Don't you dare tell me how to raise my kids!"
"Well, *somebody* should, given the positively lousy job *you're* doing."

To the person in the 3rd story : THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!!!

What pisses me off about these stories is how the Karen in question always lies about "their side of the story" to make themselves look innocent. What audacity they have to LIE about what happened! Not only did they have the audacity to act entitled, but then to lie about it! Why? Because they know what they're doing is wrong, but yet, they still want to get away with it.
