That dog story really got me mad. That's like going up to someone on the street and saying, "Hey! Your kid is really cute and seems well behaved. How much do you want for him? You can have another one! Why are you being so selfish! Just give him to me!" OMG!!!! Are these people honestly serious????

Doesn't he realize that when pets are especially well-behaved, it's USUALLY because they are being brought up in well-adjusted, nurturing, loving homes? The trainer's personal dog is THAT much well-behaved because he's been showered with love as well.
Personally, when I see an animal so well-behaved, I will remark to the parents that they have done an amazing job. I would never ever want to TAKE an animal away who is that well-behaved. Why? Because I know they're getting so much love where they are. What selfish monster would want to take that from the animal?

I had a similar situation with my stepmom #3. She wanted to borrow my truck to move her youngest son into his first apartment. I told her to use dad's truck. She threw a total shit fit , started fake crying complete with tears but made the mistake of saying something to the effect of "after everything I've done for you over the last 10yrs.
I responded you mean make me so miserable I tried to kill myself !
I told her I wouldn't piss on her if she were in front of me and on 🔥
2 weeks later my dad showed up at my job and demanded that I apologize to his wife.
      To which I told him
" Rub a lamp , the genie will grant your wish before I do"
That was the last time I spoke to him. He died 15 yrs later still married to the parasite

My daughter had a service dog trained specifically for her complex needs. This dog was capable of teaching other dogs to scent migraines before they started.. One time an entitled moron decided he wanted her and pulled out his wallet because "I want her and everything is for sale" He was quite surprised when I told him (truthfully) that Jewel was not for sale but was valued in excess of 50 thousand. No we didn't pay that unless you include the hundreds or thousands of hours work over several years and multiple trainers. She helped train 5 other service dogs before we lost her to cancer last year.

I have the same thing. Not only is my dog my best friend and I'm EXTREMELY attached to him, he's trained to know when I'm going to have a migraine. I've had many people offer to buy him off me. The funniest was a guy who offered to buy him for , get this, "10$ CASH MONEY". He was standing there with a 10$ bill in his hand. I just stood and stared at him with disbelief. He then reaches in his wallet and pulls out another 5$ bill and says, " OK , OK 15$. Ya can't pass that up." Now I payed 100$ for him and trained him and had him certified. I wouldn't sell him for any amount but I said " actually , it would cost more like 15,000$" He looks at me puts his money away and just walked away. What a weirdo 🤣 😂

The reason so many people will try to buy or steal someone else's pet is because there's a certain type of person that doesn't value those pets as part of the family but thinks of them as basically being toys that are easily bought, traded or even disposed of if they decide they don't feel like having them around anymore.

If they have an entitled personality they value themselves only, all else be damned. It's been said before but the more people I meet the more I love and value my dog!

Sitting on the floor with absolutly no supervision. And when i got borred, i will be looking for her. I alway behaved expectidly and so, she trusted me to be left alone like that.
Also, i was overly respectfull of book as i didn't open them more than 40° so they would still look New when i was done. So no clerk could accuse me of anything. For the dog story of the person trying to buy/steal OP's dog, i have a beagle/foxhound/pitbull mixbreed. He may look like a big softie and he is well behaved and trained UNTIL someone tries to attack me/steal him from me....lets just say due to him being abandoned as a puppy (and we think abused) before we adopted him, he has trust issues and bad separation anxiety especially with me since i am mom... the last guy who tried to take him from me because he "wanted" my dog, the guy was lucky i have great control and strength or else he would have lost a finger at best, his right hand at worse.
But come up to say hi, pet him and give him treats and he is your best friend. He'll even ignore me if he gets used to you enough and decides you are part of our pack.
Before you ask, he is great with other animals (we have 4 cats, 1 bunny, 1 hedgehog and 2 birds and he grew up with another dog before she passed from cancer) and great with kids too.

re dog story. My neighbour thinks he has a right to my dog. He digs hole under the fence so she can come over. Every time I block the hole he digs a new one. Earlier this year I got a new puppy. Unbeknown to me he treated both my dogs for worms and fleas. The next day I also applied the same treatment. Unfortunly my puppy got really sick from flea treatment toxcity and died a few days later. It was hottible to watch and the after hours vet could do nothing. After a big investergating by the company who made the flea treatment and animal wefare officers, my neigbour admited that he had also treat my dogs. He was arrested for animal curity. The manufacture also sued him because they were forced to remove their product from the shelf until offical investergations where complete. He still lives there but no longer digs holes under the fence. We are a close knit commuity and my neighbours where really pi...d about what happened. Nobody will talk to him. Everytime he goes out people call him dog kill. I dont think he will be living there much longer as his lease is up and the lanlord, father of another neighbour, wont renew it.

For the first story, OP should have said "I will trade you a key for my place for my dresser and anything else of mine." Then tell her that you will come pick up the stuff and that is when she will get the key. Just make sure that the key does not fit the lock to any of your doors. My extended family from Florida used to visit my family every summer during their annual vacation. They were almost as bad as the aunt in that story, but my parents also put up with them because they were "family". The summer either after or before Trump, one of them sat at our dining table and said that everyone who isn't a good, white, Christian, American should be deported. They said this in front of my eldest sister... who is adopted from China. Yeah, no. My parents broke after that and they haven't been welcome in our house ever since. dog story, here's something similar that happened to me with a crazy woman: many years ago I used to have horses, including a young mustang crossbreed who literally saved my life. A friend of mine had similar emotional issues to me (later found out why, her mom was insane!) so I took her out with me once to ride the horses. Unfortunately due to her being a minor, her mom had to come with her. A couple hours later back at my house, the mom shows up and walks up to me while I was working in my yard, asking how much I paid for my mustang. I told her I actually rescued him as a colt, and how much the average adoption fee is, and she offered me more money than the adoption fee, wanting to buy him right there! I told her to get off my property and never come back. The next day when I went back to the barn, I found that she had gone back without me or the daughter (without any permission as no-one who didn't have a horse there was allowed on the property without being accompanied by a horse owner, or having written permission from the barn owner). She had taken my horse out of his stall, taken him to the back turn-out pasture, dumped his water bucket (about 25 gallons that I had just cleaned and refilled before leaving) all over the inside of his stall, soaking the clean bedding, dragged the bucket to the back turn-out (there was already a water trough there!) then dumped a bunch of cheap grain in a food bucket. She basically acted like she already owned him, and that was before she even came to my house trying to buy him! He was on a special diet and the grain she gave him could have easily caused him to colic, though thankfully didn't. She was banned from the barn for destruction of property and animal health endangerment, and everyone was notified to call the police immediately if they ever saw her there. Unfortunately though that meant the daughter could never come back to ride the horses again either. (she was so crazy that her 16 year old son actually filed for emancipation 6 months later after she got evicted, leaving her kids to stand out on the street as the sheriff's department cleared the house, and she wasn't even there and couldn't be reached).

But her illness is probably not amenable to therapy, and she's not legally incompetent. I fully believe the only reason someone hasn’t asked for my dad’s gorgeous dog is because she is a service dog and wears a vest (which makes it even more of a social no no than usual) and because dad is just a big guy. Definitely not the type you mess with. Actually you really shouldn’t at all. Dad is a softy but he is an amazing martial artist and a protective streak a mile wide with the body type to back it up. We actually have to stop him from being more of a hero than he is for his own health. There is a reason he has a cane these days. His bones just don’t agree with all the Good Samaritan stuff he did when younger. He’s a good man but…lil too soft sometimes.
For reference as to his dog as to why people I’m sure have wanted her, she is a husky and shepherd mix. We aren’t sure what kind of shepherd and mostly get it from the distinct way she stands along with her general silhouette. She is all gold in various shades with black outlined eyes. Her eyes are that distinctive blue almost white that husky’s have. She also has that voice box like a husky where she can imitate actual words. Her current set are “ana” part of my name which she pronounces closer to “nana,” she can also say the words “out,” “hungry,” “up,” “play,” “I love you,” “dada,” and “no.” (Side note, she doesn’t make sound for this one but she mouths “water” when she is thirsty and wants her bottle). These are just the words she can pronounce. She knows a very wide variety of words she can’t pronounce, too. Dad’s been thinking of getting her those buttons to give her more fun and stimulating of a game. She gets bored easily and is a puzzle master. Dad tried to get her a somewhat advanced dog toy puzzle last Christmas….she solved it in 10 minutes and broke it in her enthusiasm. He’s also thought about buying an even higher level for her but we’ll see.

Regarding Story #5, About the Mother who ‘left’ her children in a Video Store... I think the narrator mentioned that it happened in the ‘early 90s’? Coincidentally, I had just retired from the U.S. Army a couple if years before that and I applied for a ‘child care’ position. One of the ‘requirements’ for employment was that I had to undergo a background check! They would not allow me to ‘supervise’ children without it... Leaving children with ‘unknown’ people is EXTREMELY dangerous! The ‘mother in that scenario was stupid and her actions were idiotic!

I'm only mildly surprised I haven't gotten offer on my oddly silent chorkie boy. Like the only times he actually barks is when strangers come to my house. He's still vocal and makes odd grunts, whines, grumbles and huffs but barking is not something he regularly does. He isn't trained very well though as I have no clue what I'm doing, but the only thing he does is tries to eat anything plastic.

What no-dog owners don't understand is that training takes time, a lot of patience, and money. Anyone asks for YOUR dog then you just have to say, "We will sell him to you, but first you will have to attend a course where I will train you to be a responsible dog owner, and also teach you the commands that the dog is trained to respond to. And until I am satisfied that you are going to be a good owner you will not be taking him anywhere, nor is the dog yours." That always drives them away.

How is it that having someone grab *anything* (beer, phone, etc.) isn't instantly if not instinctively met with a fist to the face? Most people grab at the object with the free hand, then it's a grabbing-game, and potentially a phone gets busted, etc. One bash to the face and the object's instantly released.
    And *twice*, yet. Unbelievable.
And going after my dog? I never carried one of those woven leashes, but a full heavy-gauge dog-chain, with oversized clip, enough that you could swing it and put a dent in a car-door if you wanted to. Anyone who grabs at my dog gets a chain across the skull.

    • @Kayenne54
      @Kayenne54 2 ปีที่แล้ว

OP in the story had been injured. Possibly leaping up to get item back wasn't a possibility. However, I totally agree with you. Someone grabbing for a beer would be wearing most of it "ooops!!" and then having another go at my cell phone would result in a smack to the hand, like she was a spoilt kid. A short sharp smack to the back of the hand can sting like the very devil and even raise veins. Anyone trying this on me has found out just how much power can be put into an extremely swift, short action. They never did that rubbish again, not around me. Parents putting up with this abusive verbal commentary about their kids, regardless if the kids are all grown up, is also not acceptable.

I love this channel because we get a real human, who puts real emotions into the stories he reads. He doesn't always read them line for line, word for word, but he gets the point across. It used to bug me, but I've heard AI readings, so I got over it pretty quickly. These are usually my bedtime stories, so I think it's ok to feel a tiny bit picky. I can't help how I feel about AI reading bedtime stories. But this guy makes me feel better at the end of a rough day, because these stories remind me that I'm not alone. Other people have to deal with jerks too. These stories also help me take a look in the mirror once in a while, and that can help me be a better person. Thank you Fluffy!

Family can really suck! While not as bad as in the story, I have an uncle who had to stick his nose in my business every time we met. First it was "When are you getting your drivers license?" I had no need for one so I took my sweet time getting one. For years, he hounded me about a drivers license, even dropping off a booklet about the questions I would need to answer for a learners permit. After getting my license, he started on "When are you moving out?" My mom shot that down FAST! She chimed in with "Since she's not living with you, it doesn't matter when she moves out! Besides, MY daughter is welcome to stay in our home as long as she wants!" My uncle looked like he'd been slapped! It was awesome! After that he backed off. Now when I see him, he just asks how I'm doing.

Years ago when my kids were about 7 and 9, we were vacationing on the Gulf Coast. And one evening we went to a casino that had a great children's center. You paid for x number of hours, and in that time the kids enjoyed all kinds of supervised activities, games, the "jungle of fun" type structures to play on, a snack, etc, while the parents did the adult casino stuff. So we paid for two hours, had our fun, and went to collect the kiddos (who'd had an absolute blast!). We had to wait a few minutes though, because the desk clerk was talking to security - apparently a kid had been abandoned for several hours past the paid-for time, and they couldn't track down the adult who had dropped the kid off, so the police were about to get involved. When it was our turn at the desk, my husband asked if that sort of thing happened very often, and the woman mumbled back, "way TOO often..." It was so sad!
