Wow, you're really good at that. Thanks for showing me how that's done!

Thanks man! Love SFO's in the Viper, the energy management is really interesting to me :)

Quest pro is officially down to $999.. which still isn't cheap but is closer to what I expected, I think its price makes other high end headsets look cheap for what you get.
Also.. If your PC can do it.. Super sampling, super sampling, and more super sampling (Through SteamVR/Oculus PC App or both). Its extremely hard to describe how crystal clear it looks, from edge to edge. Close up and at distance. Beat even the center of the G2 sharpness for me. I've used an Aero before and its incredible, but again it makes the Pro look cheap

Wow, that's a reasonable price tbh. In Norway it still costs 1900USD (+ full light blocker+ precription lenses (I need them))...
Great to hear that you're happy with it! I'm very happy with my Aero atm, but would like to have both... haha

do you recommend the Q-Pro over the G2?
    Thanks

Depends really, QP is better in a lot of ways, but is almost twice the price and the G2 is sharper in the middle and created less shimmer on distant objects.
Everything inside the cockpit is better with the QP, larger FOV, and the sharpness is across the entire FOV, which is amazing. But everything outside the cockpit is better in the G2 due to the higher resolution (easier to see enemy fighters, less ghosting in dogfights and less shimmering). So it really depends on what you have now and what you feel is missing. For everyone getting into VR I would recommend the G2. The QP is not worth if for DCS alone (imho). If you use a VR HMD other stuff as well, then that is another story. If you have any more specific questions I be happy to help. :)
And FYI: I sold my G2 and returned the QP... in favor of the Varjo Aero. Which I'm very happy with, it's sort of best of both worlds and even sharper ( and should be considering the price), haha.

      Thx for the comment!
Its a really good headset, the lenses are amazing and it has excellent tracking. It has true edge to edge sharpness which was a game changer for me ( coming from a G2). But, I decided to return the Quest Pro, in favour of the Varjo Aero. I only use VR for flight sim, and you pay a lot for other stuff with the Quest Pro (Mixed Reality). The downside to the QP for me was the reduced resolution, this affected ground details and increased shimmering. Also I had some issues with the link connection which led me to returning it.

Varjo Aero with tracking will be $1000 more than Quest Pro. At the same time, Pro can work wirelessly. That is important to FPS. I got a $20+ cable and with proper settings in ODT and the latest update of DCS, I am very happy with 3080 and Quest Pro so far. Based on other reviews, the video quality of Pro is about 90% of Varjo Aero. If you get Pro when it was on sale, that will be the most high cp value headset on the market.
