This. Flight models are way ahead of MSFS.

Depends on the headset. My Aero does not do that, but when I used the Quest Pro it did. Maybe a sleep sensor in the headset software? Which headset do you have?

Not needing to use the mouse at all, is kind of the point… You may underestimate the effiency and immersion of having physical buttons and tactile feedback :)

​@@WilldassOk, so forgive me if I came off as rude,would you be willing to explain why it would be useful? I'm currently saving for a setup myself. I'm going to paper machete an F-18 in my spare bedroom. I was going to do the dials just like you did but I figured it would be pointless considering I'd have VR goggles on.

​@@Willdasswould you have to take the goggles off in order to use the switch panels tho?

@@djstatyk1540 no, never :-) It very quickly becomes muscle memory. Like not looking at your keyboard when playing other games or typing. Most of the switches are also in the right place compared to the virtual jet so it’s very intuitive.

​@@Willdassdude I was literally just telling my coworker about this, and you said exactly what he said about muscle memory. I swear I'll have a paper mache F-18 built by next year and make a setup like this. I looked up your setup for the screens, $1500? You're a madman!

Funny, cause the room IS real, and the game IS computer generated… Jokes aside. Through the lens will never look the best. I shot with my phone and the phone camera is struggelig to adjust... I have another Short where it looks more «normal». And what I see inside the headset is better shown in my other videos

I'm going to get myself this year almost exact the same setup as you got, it would be really helpful if you would make a video where you show the settings and how you did the whole setup! Love your content and maybe we could do some cloud surfing in the f-16 after i get my setup!
