I've been renting for a long time and think I am very close to buying my first exotic. The 720s it at the top of my list for the reasons you mentioned. Also considering the Huracan EVO. Great video man!
I can relate, though, I don't plan on selling my McLaren. ( I don't drive a 720, just an "entry level" sports series.) My Bentley Continental GT is a car I can drive more often and generally do. But it makes going out in my 570GT more of an event. I need to look at Aston again, especially since they now have beastly and reliable AMG running gear. Great vid. Just now discovered your channel. SUBBED.
Great video and appreciate the information on looking up the days in service. Sounds like you have had a great journey to the fruits of your labor. Immense respect and definitely enjoying your candid feedback in your videos.
Hi ! I’m considering between a 2020 720s and a Huracan Evo? In all honesty, which car would you recommend? I’ve seen a 2015 huracan doing over 80k miles but not on a 720s yet.
For me it would have to be the 720. I don’t fit in the Evo. That aside I think it boils down to which one do you like more and how long do you plan to keep it? Long term I would say the Evo, short term probably the 720.

@Sakaaruser22 I want one eventually. I haven’t been watching the market in them recently. The last I looked I felt like they still were going to drop in price.
Nice job! Good honest review. So true regarding the hard work etc. My wife and I drove a '73 VW van to start back in 1994. Then moved up to a 1980 Westfalia...............etc. etc. I spent 7 years in school getting my law degree.........poor..............a year of articilng (Canadian requirement to pass the bar, basically a grunt making nothing....). So 8 years poor and then many years to follow so now we have a Huracan, Merc, RAM 3500 dually, S2000, and a WRX STi..... 24 years after I graduated law school. It takes time, effort, a positive attitude, hard work, and good decisions. Today people think Tik Tok is going to save their lives............NOT..... Cheers.
Down in Nashville for the btc conference a month ago i seen this exact spec 720s, 3 huracans, an Audi r8 v10 wrapped as a police car, and a doge coin wrapped cybertruck all lined back to back. My first time seeing a 720s. incredible car!
It’s closer than you think. I made a video recently talking about how I’m going to buy a Senna. Check it out I breakdown how I use rewards to build my goals and path to achieving it.
Hi great video very useful video Thank you even though I'm looking to get a 570s here in the UK they go for 90k... one from Mclaren dealer with warranty.. do you know if the Mclaren warranty covers everything? I'm just thinking if I can afford it on a 70k salary.. i dont have a lot of expenses i keep most of my money I'm really passionate about cars.. i dont mind spending most of my money on the car😂
Mine didn’t cover the annual service but did cover all of the little issues. I had a door strut replaced, a seal due to a small leak, a tiny paint issue was fixed, a few others like that. Basically stuff that wasn’t regular wear and tear was covered.
Thank u so much man ,this has been my dream car since it launched , im only 15 but im looking to purchase a used 720s by the time im 20 , Im gonna start working when i turn 16 , i'll let u know when i get it
Awesome it’s an absolutely amazing car. Great choice for a dream car. Put pictures of them around to remind yourself why you are working and saving to help stop those impulse purchases.
I have considered them. I have been told I would fit. I will give them longer before I consider one seriously though I feel like the price needs to come down more.
That’s awesome. I like to use vision boards for stuff like that. Make it the background on your phone this will constantly remind you why you are working so hard on those tough days. Also remember at work that your pay reflects the job you do. Never be the person that thinks “I would do that if they payed me more” do the extra things and prove your value the money will come.
wow... i recall back in 2019, these things were down to like $180/190k on the 2nd hand market, while still quite knew. I guess the post covid bubble really pushed these back up. Nearly $300k including finance is a lot more than expected. 720s is a hypercar killer in terms of performance, but if you're not into tracking and drag racing, nobody needs that kind of performance for the road. In fact, less powerful cars are more fun, cuz you can actually step on it, and play with the car. I think the Vantage is a beautiful sports car.
McLarens are the toughest cars for me to figure out why they go up and down in price it doesn’t make sense to me. The vantage for the price is amazing.
Yeah. When interest rates were low and they ask me how much I want to put down I always said as little as possible. Now when they are high I don’t do that if I plan on keeping it for longer than a year.
This one isn’t doing great right now as far as money retuning back to me. Luckily it’s really fun to drive so I am at least enjoying it until the market calms down. As far as the loan I have financed and paid off a lot or car loans to build my history up.
@@Busterburg Michigan insurance is nearly unaffordable. Then again, not as high as your car payment. I once had a quote for plpd for a grand a month. I have a perfect driving record.
@tawerarolston-uo2hq if you have a good credit history you can get one now. When I was looking for mine I had. Dealer look them up by vin and tell me the amount of time it spent in service that helped and most issues come from low batteries and not letting the car get to temperature before being crazy with the RPM’s, at least in my experience. I always plug my car in at night with a battery tender and when I start it I turn the ignition on first and let all the electronics power up then put my foot on the brake and start the car. I haven’t had any major issues with it doing this.
It's on one. It was a new camera with a tracking setting. I have since turned that off and it doesn't move around following my head as much. Sorry to make you sea sick.
Not according to a lot of the owners I know. I think it’s usually the people who on them and don’t drive them consistently that have more problems. I drive mine a lot so I think that helps mine not have the issues as much as some other people. Maybe your group of friends that own these cars have better luck than mine have.
Thanks for the transparency man, we need more candid videos from owners like yourself.
I agree too many people are just upgrading and breaking cars for content not just sharing the ownership experience.
1st annual service ran me 1400, just did my 2nd annual, it was 3500, next year if I have it, it will be back to around 1500. Nice video!
That’s what I’m being told for prices on my 765LT too. Thanks for watching.
Wow, I need to get me one. My Camry maintenance is more than this. WTH!
Hahaha
Sweet ride! Thanks for the breakdown. I'm excited for my 750S!
It looks like it’s going to be a nice step up from the 720

Nowhere near the performance of 720 but the trade off is sound, reliability and rawness the 720 doesn’t have

The price of 720s drops a lot recently.
Yeah but they have leveled out a bit now.

I am in the Uk, england. Wow monthly insurance is low, making a simple comparison anyway.
I have a different car that I have as my primary so it lowers the cost of this because it’s only driven occasionally.
