This could not have been posted at a better time, Natasha. I don't usually comment here but, felt to share...I have spent the last two weeks cutting 1,000 pieces of scrapbooking and random paper to make 50 (2 signatures, 20 pages) quick "simple" pocketbook/purse size Journals for my new booth. I was thinking yesterday, "What in the world am I going to do with all the drops from cutting the pages?" Now I know what I'll be doing with some of them. Thank you very much for sharing. 🤗❤️🙏's

You have just shown us how we can turn throw- away scraps into something beautiful. I love your method with the masking tape. I love that you didn't try and sew a straight line on that one, because I can't. So I will try it and see how I do. We are having the election of a lifetime today in America and I need something to take my mind off of it until we find out who won. It will be a Craft Day Marathon!! Thanks for being my first crafter of choice.

I am so grateful to be a crafter to keep mu mind off all that is going on in the world, so tired of Covid had to miss my mothers 85 birthday celebrations and I am a huggy kind of person and not being able to hug anyone except my puppy is so depressing. I do hope you are finding ways to stay positive and motivated despite all the new shut downs, elections and whatever. Truly appreciate each and everyone of your videos. 👍👍Hey, Natasa, I would never have come up with the idea of using masking tape as a base! (& it is cheap!) I am thinking of getting a couple of wide rolls & using one as a continuous add-on project that I can roll up as I do. I foresee ending up with a varied collection of rolls each based on a particular theme (ex: shabby chic/vintage, bright solids/prints, baby/child, romance/wedding, ribbons/lace, etc). I will then have an ongoing, new supply of unique, self-made embellishments! Thank you so much! Now, how will I store them?

I liked the bits hanging over the edge! 9:30 It gave it an interesting shape especially after you inked the sides.

@@TreasureBooks I am an early riser and I set aside an hour to work on my paper crafting before I start my workday. I made two of the strips this morning. How fun thanks again!😊

Haha thank you Christina. You are the only one who mentioned that (random and bizzare) part of the video. But reaching over to get the the thing is what we crafters do all day :)

Why not sew the round doiley and word when you sew up pouch? Sew it on the flat then fold up and sew sides of pouch.

Great ideas for using up YEARS of scraps. I’m making a note to pull out my masking tape. I may try using duct tape for fabrics since it’s so much stronger. Thanks for sparking my creativity!

Be cautious sewing on duct tape, it will clog up the needle area of your sewing machine...

I'm so glad!! Thank you. Double sided tape, or duct tape might create issues. The masking tape left a minimum amount of gunk collected on one spot on my sewing needle which I easily wiped off, so no problems!
