- Hi Creative friends! Drowning in paper scraps? Want to know how to use up paper scraps in NEW and creative ways? I know you'll love this series! I'm stash busting my paper scraps over 5 days in a Stash Busting Challenge. I've pulled out 50 different paper scraps from my stash and I hope touse them all up in just 5 days 😱 Any paper scrap NOT used up on day 5 must go into the recycling no matter how pretty it is. Today is Day 5 and I'm working with the smallest paper scraps in my stash. I've got some really fun ideas to try, so It's time to pull out your paper scraps and come create with me!

I've never heard the saying about not putting blue and green together unless there is something in between. I find that odd since they are analogous on the color wheel! Grass, sky anyone...Anyhoo, I'm once again encouraged to use up my scraps! Oh the abundance.
It's a funny one, a few people have mentioned these things... it just a little 'ditty' my mother used to say. Maybe I wasn't supposed to take it so literally??? 🙈

As a general papercrafter, I make embellishments with scraps 😀

Hi Gwen. I enjoyed re-watching all your tips. Great reminder. Funny thing I didn't remember seeimg the woven strip card. I actually started a woven card prior to your series so I muddled through. I used turquoise strips and embossed the strips with a faux wood embossing folder. Then I dry brushed a medium shade of blue. This card is to replicate a "baby blocks" baby blanket I am working on for our niece. I am quite pleased with how closely it resembles the blanket. I will press on with finishing the blanket first though. Have a wonderful day. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
