Hi, Peter! I totally understand why you get these mixed feelings about saudia and i will state the reasons in this comment from a common saudi guy’s perspective ... the first reason is because you compare the lifestyle you saw in Riyadh to the lifestyle you saw in small villages like rijal and farasan island and i must say I am a saudi and i have never been to these places because it is still undeveloped The majority of people you‘ve met in this video are not even saudis but you get this feeling that we can relate to this kind of people& lifestyle but these are small villages very far away from the action. I know everything is deserted because of the heat; it sounds like everyone very practically stays indoors in that kind of heat. But it’s still weird to my eyes how empty it is in the daytime. It looks like you’re the last man on earth there! 👍🏼✌🏼
Yeah people here are nocturnal creatures. Nobody really goes out in the daytime unless it’s for school or work. Around September to February when the weather gets a bit cooler is when people tend to come out in the daytime more often.
you wonder why there is a women with cover on her head and the other one without!! bro plz just do my advice without camera go to anyone who speak English and ask what is Islam in general and let him speak then ask the GOLDEN QUESTION why do you believe in that and enjoy. BTW even in your country you have Muslims for sure (i don't know where are you from😇) and please X3 visit Jeddah i look up in ur vid but there is nothing it's amazing City and the people are great P.S. you really look like Jason statham the English actor 🤔
I love the respect you give interpreting your view and your open mindedness. Hope you get to make it to Northern Iraq Kurdish region. All of Middle East is got lots of generous people. Keep posting them great videos.
Very cool! I just found you a week ago and I love your video's of your experiences! Its my hobby to study different cultures, languages and religions of the world. I truly understand what you mean when you say, you just go and be adventurous. That is what my Mum and enjoy doing, going off the path and finding out of the way places, I can only imagine doing it on your level! And thank you for highlighting the amazing progress in Saudi Arabia, wonderful for the people who are hungry for change. Safe journey!
Most Saudis do not speak about politics because they are confident in their rulers and consider it a benefit to them, as well as the Saudis have strong loyalty to the government and the royal family because they participated in establishing the kingdom together and I also trust our rulers and they provide all the amenities for the citizen, for example if you are a university student they give you 1000 riyals per month except that You graduate and there is a social system to support the unemployed from work as well as the elderly as well as give us support for the high cost of living. Every price of a commodity rises to not less than 400 riyals per month. Thank you for conveying a good image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and we will support you
I will summarize for you everything you want to know. The Saudi people love their country and its rulers, and everyone who loves their country and its rulers. We are a hospitable and generous people, and what we enjoy most is football
Beautiful country and video, thank you so much for taking your time and risking as well, sharing this side of Saudi Arabia. I had no idea it existed. Much respect for this fascinating culture, their traditions, the beautiful people. We are all one body in Christ at the end of day no matter what part of the world we live in. Blessed up!!!
I think I'll just watch all your Saudi clips in one settings. I enjoy them so much beside all the other since I've subscribe to your channel. Love your spirit. You are so humble, stay this way. I feel like my presence is right next to you while watching them. Nice jobs with filming I know it must have been a challenge. But they still got produced that's all that matters.. Thank you Mr. Santenello for all of your Saudi videos. I am too old to travel now so your videos have taken me to this ancient and beautiful country and such lovely people you met. I also watched "The history of the House of Saud" on TH-cam which was very interesting. (Oct. 2nd. Holland-Eu)
Lots of Saudi people take a nap during Noon, beside it's hot. It's better to vlog during evening time when everyone is out and you can see more activities and get to talk to lots of locals.
So am I . . I was wondering about what are you gonna vlog in my city Jizan. Watching ur vlog from U.S as I am student here. I hope u like it there. . 💛
The beauty about Saudi Arabia is that it’s so diverse and you continue learning about it as time passes by even if you’re a local ❤️ There are a lot of misconceptions about the rules in here, the rules aren’t so clear plus we have those hidden cultural rules and I think that made people assume rules depending on their own point of view and think you must stick to them even if it’s not actually a rule, people are different thus you might hear different rules from different people. Allowing for the visa was a huge thing I always wanted, Saudis definitely heard about it but still we are not familiar with seeing tourists hanging around even if you live in Jeddah, the most diverse city like me :) I wish to see more and more tourists in here 🙏🏻 I hope you spent a very good time in here and you’re welcome again :)
I actually miss hearing those Muslim prayers. It is so spiritual that it makes you want to cry or something, but then you realize that it was a beautiful reminder.

@@SuperReHaN16 Yes, I already checked winter temperatures in Riyadh. I didn't expect it got so cold in the winter there. I guess it's the dry desert climate, too hot in the summer, but cold in the winter.

Dear, you are at the beginning of the video says This story tells about the Saudi people, not about politics in Saudi Arabia She comes back every time she talks about politics. Every person goes to visit countries to learn about culture, industry and individuals, and they do not go to a country to talk about politics Have you seen a political tourist?
You should visit us in Dubai dude , I have been watching your channel for a while now and I was shocked you haven’t been to Dubai or the uae , if you ever decided to come by It will be my pleasure to tour you up, best of luck bro 🙏🏻
Great videos Peter, just some general info on the culture and the people here in saudi, basically saudi is divided into 5 parts; central, eastern, western, northern and southern. Each part is slightly different. The central, northern and southern are the most strict parts, eastern and western are the most open and each part is usually affected by nearby cultures throughout history, like the accent, clothing, food and so forth. If you still have time I suggest that you also visit the eastern part like al ahsa and dammam, you'll certainly find it interesting and different from the places you've visited.
Hi Peter, I liked the last 5-6 minutes of the video & of course all of it overall. I liked your honesty, I felt the words from your heart to mine, maybe due to the suffering from the heat 😂. I hope you continue with that touch in the coming videos 👌
Hello, really enjoyed your entire Saudi Trip. Didnot come across any bloggers doing that before. Thanks a lot.Would you mind sharing about which action camera you used for recording?
Saudi Arabia is a mystery but really my memories of childhood spent there is one of warmth, safety and love. Lots of love. As a kid I didn’t full appreciate all that Saudi had to offer. I thought it was too restrictive and hot! But looking back now, it made me who I am today and I only feel love and appreciation for my second home. It’s been 25 years since I left but I am Muslim so I will be back for the Hajj One day inshaAllah!!!!

I know everything is deserted because of the heat; it sounds like everyone very practically stays indoors in that kind of heat. But it’s still weird to my eyes how empty it is in the daytime. It looks like you’re the last man on earth there! 👍🏼✌🏼
Yes people don't go out in the daytime cuz it's so hot unless it's winter or in rainy days you'll find a lot of people out
The temperature is somewhat high so people go out in the evening and in the morning a little
Yeah people here are nocturnal creatures.
BTW even in your country you have Muslims for sure (i don't know where are you from😇)
and please X3 visit Jeddah i look up in ur vid but there is nothing it's amazing City and the people are great
P.S. you really look like Jason statham the English actor 🤔
Yeah, that heat was hardcore :)
I love the respect you give interpreting your view and your open mindedness. Hope you get to make it to Northern Iraq Kurdish region. All of Middle East is got lots of generous people. Keep posting them great videos.

Really enjoying this series. The water looked clear and inviting.
Thank you for conveying a good image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and we will support you
We Somalis actually have a bad perception about ur country.
Love your Saudi series❤️.

Dear Peter, thx again for making these videos. I really like the way you tell the story of your journeys! Great job and keep on doing!
Thank you Mr. Santenello for all of your Saudi videos. I am too old to travel now so your videos have taken me to this ancient and beautiful country and such lovely people you met. I also watched "The history of the House of Saud" on TH-cam which was very interesting. (Oct. 2nd. Holland-Eu)
Go Pete well done great series of travel videos definitely a fan
I am from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I love you Thira and I hope you go to Al-Qassim and Riyadh. Thank you

Lots of Saudi people take a nap during Noon, beside it's hot. It's better to vlog during evening time when everyone is out and you can see more activities and get to talk to lots of locals.
When you put Bruce Willis and Jason Statham in a mixture and put some Johnny Sins spices you get Peter!!
Thanks for exploring new beach for us
Yes been waiting patiently for this...💕
Thanks Kaffy! I think you'll like the next one, be bit more adventure in it.
So am I . .
I was wondering about what are you gonna vlog in my city Jizan. Watching ur vlog from U.S as I am student here.
I hope u like it there. . 💛
The Saudi people are beautiful, the people you've met have showed a lot of love too you, amazing 🎉
The beauty about Saudi Arabia is that it’s so diverse and you continue learning about it as time passes by even if you’re a local ❤️
There are a lot of misconceptions about the rules in here, the rules aren’t so clear plus we have those hidden cultural rules and I think that made people assume rules depending on their own point of view and think you must stick to them even if it’s not actually a rule, people are different thus you might hear different rules from different people.
Allowing for the visa was a huge thing I always wanted, Saudis definitely heard about it but still we are not familiar with seeing tourists hanging around even if you live in Jeddah, the most diverse city like me :) I wish to see more and more tourists in here 🙏🏻
I hope you spent a very good time in here and you’re welcome again :)
Petter you are amzing man god blessed you
Did anyone told you that you look kinda like Jason Statham 😄

You must go to the mountainous areas and see the coffee farms, different people's habits and charming views. Jizan is a very large and varied area.

I actually miss hearing those Muslim prayers. It is so spiritual that it makes you want to cry or something, but then you realize that it was a beautiful reminder.

Hey peter ,
Ive been following your travels in Saudi Arabia. I just wanted to let you know that if you’re planning to come to the eastern province (dammam , khobar area) i can show you around and be your guide if you’re interested.
I have genuinely enjoy your content and looking forward to what you’ll show us next
Best regards Habibi !

Welcome Peter, we usually see tourists come as groups, but they are surprised that you came alone 9:27
Peter,
You have been really fair and honest about Saudi Arabia! You absolutely have a rich knowledge and philosophical approach when discussing different issues! I really recommend that you visit Najran region and Olaa also, very rich history and amazing nature!

Yes, I already checked winter temperatures in Riyadh. I didn't expect it got so cold in the winter there. I guess it's the dry desert climate, too hot in the summer, but cold in the winter.

You are amazing! I love what you're doing.
I really want you to meet someone who can speak English very well and can answer all your questions because there’s a reason and a story behind alot of things and i hate how people you meet never deliver the whole idea and you still dont know the correct answer to some of your questions 🇸🇦

Thanks for explaining stuff. Especially that people don’t know anything about saudi. Honestly we really feel happy when we have tourists
Dear, you are at the beginning of the video says
This story tells about the Saudi people, not about politics in Saudi Arabia
She comes back every time she talks about politics. Every person goes to visit countries to learn about culture, industry and individuals, and they do not go to a country to talk about politics
Have you seen a political tourist?
Thank you for this content!

Hi Peter, I liked the last 5-6 minutes of the video & of course all of it overall. I liked your honesty, I felt the words from your heart to mine, maybe due to the suffering from the heat 😂. I hope you continue with that touch in the coming videos 👌
If you are looking for a spirit of discovery and mystery ،
I hope you go to the Al-Ula area
