  • Join us on an epic journey through the breathtaking southwest of Saudi Arabia! In this episode, we take our trusty Tony the Toyota (Landcruiser Troopy HZJ75) to the mountains of Taif, Abha & Fayfan, and venture to the little-known Farasan Islands.
    🗺️ Mountain Adventures and Hidden Trails: Our excitement to explore the majestic mountains was met with unexpected challenges. With tourism still developing in Saudi Arabia, finding hiking trails proved difficult. The lack of designated paths and English information, forced us to mainly stick to explorations with the car.
    🚢 Farasan Islands: From Jizan, we boarded a ferry to the Farasan Islands, where we embarked on a quest to spot the island's famous gazelles with the help of a local ranger. Between the thrill of off-roading and the tranquility of beach time, Farasan offered a perfect blend of excitement and relaxation.
    🚙 Steep Roads and Stunning Views: Back on the mainland, we continued our mountain exploration around Fayfan, tackling extremely steep roads that tested Tony the Toyota's limits. The stunning vistas made it worth it though.
    💧 Wadi Lajab: In Wadi Lajab, renowned for its refreshing water pools, we had to make a quick evacuation due to incoming rain. As we drove out, we encountered the fascinating "flower men" of Saudi Arabia, known for their vibrant flower crowns and traditional attire-a captivating cultural tradition that left us in awe.
    🏞️ Najran: Our journey concluded in Najran, where we once again found ourselves as a unique attraction, embraced by the local hospitality and rich cultural heritage.

    would you consider giving us viewers gps coordinates of some of those interesting spots, like some twisty roads, "end of the road" spot or even the dunes where you did paragliding..? that would be quite nice if I could pin it to my map.
    all in all, really nice vlogs!
    happy trips!

      @@marcindomik8975 Thanks! Sometimes we "bump" into spots so exact coordinates are hard. The paragliding dune was around 24,0535301, 38,5963416, paragliding organized with Nawaf @fly.nawaf on Insta.

    Welcome to Saudi Arabia, a large country with a diverse climate and terrain. You have made a great and wonderful effort. May God bless you. Honoring guests is part of our ancient Arab manners. You are in the original home of the Arabs, ancient civilizations and the home of the prophets. I wished you had visited the ancient city of Khaybar, a place where tribes lived. The Arabs and the children of Israel were in one place two thousand years ago and more

    The video is nice but in my humble opinion your choice of music between the scenes takes the magic away. Either a music that really fits the emotion or complete silence would make it better. Just me two cents. Thanks for the vid.

    • @seenbyceline
      @seenbyceline  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I guess choice of music is quite personal. It's definitely not easy to keep on finding copyright free music 😅. But glad you liked the video anyway, even if you are not a big fan of the music used.
