I'm a 🇳🇿 New Zealander but my husband is a Muslim and he did take me once to 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia but I only stayed in Riyadh with his grandparents whilst he and his dad went on their second pilgrimage to Mecca. After the pilgrimage, we did then go off to 🇦🇪 Dubai and 🇪🇬 Egypt.
Saudi was definately more modern than I thought it would be and definately cleaer than some other Western cities (like Toronto, Los Angeles and Paris) that I've been to but unfortunately, I didn't get to go around much.
Saudi Arabia is an amazing country with delicious food and great work culture!

As you saw in the video there's tons of non-muslims, especially in places like Riyadh and Jeddah. Only places you wouldn't go as a non-Muslim would be the two holy cities.

Running a retail store costs more than take home profits now, and customers are pushing for lower prices. Not a single person on the street in the city i am (al hassa). Riyadh maybe doing great.
